Hi

Building a sneak attack unarmed swordsage at the moment (or hoping to). However, I am concerned that the 2d6 sa from swordsage will quickly be eclipsed and not matter.

I could take a rogue dip to get another 1d6 and have sa always on, freeing up stances. However, is there any way to get sa to level up, like ascetic rogue allows a rogue to maintain unharmed damage progression?

I think level 6 is going to have to be a dip into rogue or assassin then :) just a shame I have to lose another level of bab. Not allowed the generic classes either, thought I had hit gold when I added a level of generic warrior with an extra 2d6 sa lol.

I have one feat that I want to drop (travel devotion) and will either pick up combat reflexes or craven.

Maybe dip Fighter with Thug (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/variant/classes/variantCharacterClasses.htm#fighterVariantThug) + Sneak Attack (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/variant/classes/variantCharacterClasses.htm#fighter) if you don't want to lose BAB.

Maybe go something like Swordsage 4/ Ardent 1/ Psychic Assassin (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/psm/20040723d) 5 or 6/ Swordsage, and pick up Mind Cripple. After that it won't even matter how much hp damage you're dealing, as 2 Int damage per hit is going to take down most high hp opponents in a single full attack.

If you do not mind Sudden Strike instead of Sneak Attack there are options with full BAB such as Dread Commando.
