Does Ancestral daisho Stack?

Something I could not tell from OA samurai, but does Ancestral daisho, stack with other class levels besides samurai ?

by the rules as written.. yes.
Some might argue that the rules are intended to mean only samurai levels stack.. But having the daisho work with any classes he takes seems to fit with the flavor of the source book(as well as the setting) better(it even states that[lore-wise] many samurai take levels in other classes at one point in it, unless I'm mistaken)

I believe that ancestral daisho specifies that it's based on character level, meaning all levels and racial HD (but not LA) count toward it. If it had said class level then only samurai levels would count.
