Just wondering what everyone thinks of this spell; balanced, overpowered? :smallconfused:

Night's Stealth
Illusion (Shadow) [Darkness]
Level: Asn 1, Rgr 1, Sor/Wiz 1
Components: V, S
Casting Time: 1 standard action
Range: Touch
Target: Creature touched
Duration: 1 round/level (D)
Saving Throw: Will negates (harmless)
Spell Resistance: Yes (harmless)

You cloak the subject in subtly shifting shadow-stuff, obscuring her movements and softening the sounds of her movement.

This spell grants a +5 circumstance bonus on Hide checks and Move Silently checks.
This spell is dispelled in daylight or in the area of a light spell of 2nd level or higher.

make it " dispelled by daylight or a light spell cast by a caster of third level or higher."

I made it spell level because it's normally spell level, not caster level, that affects how light/darkness spells interact.

Examples: light (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/spells/light.htm), darkness (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/spells/darkness.htm), daylight (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/spells/daylight.htm).

A light spell (one with the light descriptor) counters and dispels a darkness spell (one with the darkness descriptor) of an equal or lower level.
How are the skill bonuses, too high or just right for a 1st-level spell?

With the duration you have listed I would say it +5/+5 is fine.
