Alternate titles: Fleshweaver: The Next Generation, Fleshweaver: Evolution, Fleshweaver: Genesis, Fleshweaver: Rebirth.
This is a thing I do, from time to time on this forum. People give me two animals and I make a homebrew D&D third edition creature that combines both. With some fluff and a drawing. It is a long-standing and fun tradition in D&D to have absolutely bonkers animal hybrids.
Now, here's the animal groups. You may vote for two, in 24 hours, I will count the votes and we will proceed along the tree of life from the broad groups to smaller groups. We're not following exact phylogeny.
Animal groups:
Arthropod (Spiders, Scorpions, Lobsters, Crabs, Insects, Millipedes, etc.)
Amphibian (Frogs, toads, salamanders)
Bird (You know those. They taste like chicken.)
Echinoderm (Starfish. And only starfish.)
Fish (They swim. They might be sharks.)
Mammal (Everything from mice to elephants and naked molerats in between. Also monotremes, for purposes of this thread)
Mollusc (Slimey things. Snails, squids, octopodes, mussles, clams)
Reptile (Crocodiles. Lizards. Snakes.)
