Two questions:
1) Dose a Psion know the Spells on his Discipline list or dose he/she have to use one of the Powers known slots?

2) Expanded Knowledge dose it let a Psion learn a Power from a different Discipline list?

1. The discipline power lists are in addition to the normal psion power list. Psions can pick from either the psion list or their disciple list when learning powers. You don't get all the discipline powers for free.

2. Yes, with the expanded knowledge feat, you can also learn a power that is not on the psion power list, or on the discipline power list for your chosen discipline. The power can be from another discipline list, or even from the power list of another class like the psychic warrior.

1. No, they are on your class list. It's like each flavor of Psion is it's own Sorcerer like class with a distinct spell list of Specialty+Psion to select from.

You learn another power.

Prerequisites
Manifester level 3rd.

Benefit
Add to your powers known one additional power of any level up to one level lower than the highest-level power you can manifest. You can choose any power, including powers from another discipline’s list or even from another class’s list.

Special
You can gain this feat multiple times. Each time, you learn one new power at any level up to one less than the highest-level power you can manifest.

Incorrect.

Under discipline it says:

"Choosing a discipline provides a psion with access to the class skills associated with that discipline (see above), as well as the powers restricted to that discipline."

It's understandable to believe that access=knowledge, but that isn't the case and the next section makes this clear.

Choose the powers known from the psion power list, or from the list of powers of your chosen discipline."

1) You must use a power known slot.

2) It does. Or a different class list, if you wish, as long as it's a power.
