Target: one living humanoid
Duration: instantaneous
Saving Throw: oh you wish you had one

This spell, even though it is meant to do good things, its horrible and obnoxious. When cast on a target slightly willing, all diseases and poisons are cured, and for the next 5 minutes the target is nauseated and feels cold fluid running through his veins
material component holy water made from brine

leomund's gore-tx air bed
Conjuration
Level: clr 7
Components: V, S, F
Casting Time: one full round action

Target: one medium or smaller creature
Duration: 5 days
Saving Throw: fortitude (see text)
Spell Resistance: yes
When this spell is cast on a target who fails their save they become entangled as the spell for the next 5 days. Each day at the end of the day, the target gets another save to bust out of the bed. Each day i n the bed restores no HP or ability damage, and deals one point of str dex and wis damage.

From my stay at the hospital after my surgery, more to come, accepting ideas, I am getting better on my tablet for typing, and I am recovering well, i m home now! Yaay!

The second one should be an artifact instead of spell.

Is it that powerful? Why not a spell? May I have a reason or a way to change it?

I'm about 95% sure he's just saying that because a hospital bed is a physical item instead of a spell, don't worry. (I think it makes more sense as a wondrous item than an artifact, myself.) Though if you want to get picky, it should really be 3rd level instead of 2nd. At 2nd, it pretty much obsoletes both Remove Disease and Neutralize Poison.

On another note, I'm glad you made it out of the hospital okay.

Yeah, I meant wondrous item. Forgot the DnD differentiation for a moment there.
As how to change it- just make it a straight item with those properties.

A spell that summons a bed and ties them to it.

That, is not kinky at all.

Ooh, and I noticed that the bed doesn't restore any hit points, which implies that you're not actually sleeping in it...

How about an anesthesia spell? If they fail their save they're completely numbed and basically collapse where they stand.

And I can't resist a good doctor related song with such a theme!
♫Doctor doctor, give me the news...♪

Cat scratch fever spell? Summons a cat for so many rounds that with a successful claw attack gives a disease that causes an instantaneous fever and nausea for 1d4 rounds?
♫Catscratch fever...♪

@ op

Sorry, I've been off the site for years, just got married and lost all my free time! I'll relearn the netiquette soon lol.

Quick question, with the STR DEX and WIS dmg, are the victims able to actually sleep, or is it just slowly draining it away from them? I'd certainly ask that if I was a player! Regaining my spells and such would be a boon, but I guess an argument could be made for the constant pain making sleeping difficult/impossible. What would the opposite of a Concentration check be? Haha, anyway, What are/how do the penalties from lack of sleep?

Or is that where the WIS dmg comes from? Raving lunatic after 5 days!:smalleek:
