if my understanding is correct, as long as a druid has a spell uncast he can use it to fuel summon elemental right? since you can spontaniously cast SNA?

Must be at least a 4th lvlspell though.

not sure how i let THAT slip by me... so once i get access to 4th lvl spells i should be able to fuel the feat?

Yes, you can. Even in Wild Shape (since SUAs don't have components).
