3.5 Buffing Animals

Are their any Prestige Classes/Skills/Feats focused on increasing the strength/battle abilities of animals other then of an Animal Companion and without using Spells (Spell Like Abilities are fine, just not spells)

I think there was a joke E6 build at one point for a commoner 1 / bard 5 who used sooth the beast and chicken infested to attack people with musically enhanced chickens.

He played an ocarina and was labeled the anti-link.

Marshal, Legendary Leader, Dragon Shaman and Animal Lord come to mind.
