Could the initial damage or any of the subsequent rounds of damage by modified in any way (without metamagic), by like, a class feature?

Knowledge Devotion?
Cunning Insight?

or would the 1d6 always remain a flat rolled out damage?

also is the damage untyped?

Any modifiers would have to happen as/before the spell is cast, not during the duration (I am pretty sure, at least) unless ti specifies any damage roll (cunning insight should work on a single damage roll, IMO) effects that are duration based, or debuff/buffs should need to be applied before the spell is cast and would last for the duration.

I could be wrong on that, but that is my take on it.

The damage looks untyped, unless there is something I missed. It is mind-effecting though, so there are so many things it wont effect...

same, i didnt see any damage type.

i thought it was no save and based off of total hp...not mind effecting...

It is both.

Its an Enchantment spell, type(compulsion)[Mind -Effecting]

Allows no saving throw, deals damage based on current HP.

But if you are immune to Mind Effecting spells (or compulsion spells) then this spell won't do anything to you.
