So my friend mentioned to me the other day that he maybe changing his game to an e6 world soon, and I expressed interest in it because I have never had the opportunity to play in one before. However, I generally like to play something somewhat out there and think I will try my hand at a pseudodragon caster, now obviously this is going to be rather painful for me as with a +3 LA my point buy would only be 10(assuming he is going to use the standard rules, he may not as we currently use roll 5d6 7 times drops lowest then you can move a point from one to another as many times as you want, so you can basically get an 18 in at least 2 things) and I would have to deal with 2 RHD so only 4 levels of an actual caster.

Basically, what it comes down to is picking sorcerer or wizard, I really like spontaneous casting but with only 1 2nd level spell known at level 4 sorcerer seems very limited, if I go wizard I will try to make myself as spontaneous as possible as well as try to minimize my need for a spellbook by going for things like spell master and then uncanny forethought late.

For a wizard point buy I would probably go str:4(8), Dex 14(10), Con 12(10), Int 14, wis10(8) cha 8, with my level 4 pump going to int to reach 15, then later taking the e6 only feat to boost me to 17 to qualify for uncanny forethought.

Feats would probably look something like this: 1st weapon finesse(for tail), 3rd spell mastery 6th preint boost buff, int boost buff, uncanny forethought, and then more spell masteries potentially alcratious cogitation.

Alternatively, I could go fighter feat variant and pick up weapon finesse in place of scribe scroll at level 1 and use my level 1 feat for alcratious cogitation.

Derp I would be level 3 then, and that is something I want to pick up at level 1 so I am not useless. Althought I could use it for something else, Imp Toughness, weapon focus, and imp initiative are the first things that come to mind.

Other feats to think about would involve boosting the Save DC for my sleep poison as its basically a save or die VS fort, or reserve feats so I never run out of "blast spells" feats that increase SR could also be great, with a base SR of 19 I could essentially become immune to magic with a few of those.

If you have any cool Prc ideas feel free to toss them out too, although it might be better just to keep the bab gained from wiz 3 to wiz 4.(assuming I'd only be able to take 1 level)

You could fit in 1 level of master specialist, or more if you didn't have RHD. Otherwise your pickings for prestige classes will probably be slim because you have both low BAB and low spell levels - and most PrCs are meant to be taken at level 6 at earliest.
