let's see if i can round up some ideas. Building Willy Wonka (asque.)

More of a Craft Edible, an alternative to Craft Potion, allowing him to make magical goodies/baddies.
Craft Potion, too, for magical pop.
So, maybe an Artificer with Leadership?
Or maybe he just feeds the oompa-loompas mind-controlling munchies in the cafeteria.

But you have to remember, Gene wilder could sing. So bard fits better in my opinion. Bardic knack instead for an ACF would fit along with a jack of all trades. he does know everything about everything.
