Here's the Rules:

Come up with a homebrew spell of any level and school, and post it here. You may make multiple submissions. While other systems are not strictly forbidden, it is strongly reccommended that submissions be designed for either Pathfinder or 3.5, and that no more than 3 entries per person be given. Entries will be judged in the following categories:

Originality: How creative is it?
Utility: How good of a spell is it? Would you use it?
Awesomeness: :smallcool:

There will also be legality penalties issued if your spell would likely not be allowed in some classical pathfinder or 3.5 games.

Please use this format or similar for your entries:

*Spell Name*
School: Spell School X
Level: X
Components: XYZ components
Casting Time: X action/rounds/minutes
Range: Xft+Xft/level
Effect: Effect X
Duration: instantaneous, permanant or X rounds/minutes/hours/days
Saving Throw: None or X negate/partial
Spell Resistance: Yes/No

Description:
Describe your spell!

SPECIAL EDITION BONUS RULES:

In this round of NT's Home Brew Spell Competition, we will for the first time adopt a theme! For NT's HBSC3, the theme will be ACID. There is a severe shortage of acid based spells in both Pathfinder and 3.5, and we're going to see what we can do to help alleviate that problem.

Good luck to everyone, and don't forget to vote on your favorite spells from the last competition! The link can be found in my signature.

If you'd like to visit this competition's chat thread for criticisms, discussions, or just shootin' the breeze, this is the place. (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=292907)

Competition ends August 25th! Good Luck everyone!

You can make a quantity of acid within a creature's blood. You may choose between two versions of acid:

Heart-Burn: This version of the spell attacks a creature's blood, burning them alive from the inside. The subject takes your caster level in acid damage every round. Concentration checks become more difficult as well. Add +5 to the DC of any concentration check. This is independent of any increased difficulty due to periodic damage. A successful fortitude save negates this version of the spell.

Stone-Bite: This version of the spell makes a helpful acid course through a creature. For the next minute, manufactured weapons take 3 acid points of damage when they touch the target's blood (When they deal at least 1 point of damage). This damage bypasses hardness. Despite this ability's name, the acid damages anything that is not organic. By pressing this blood against an object (a touch attack that provokes) you can deal 6 acid damage per touch instead.
