So the tauric template can be applied to what basically ends up being a brain creature and a body creature, and it's really strong, because the body can be basically anything you want. What I was to do is reduce the racial HD to 0, maybe reduce the LA as well, and make the body a horse. I realize that a centaur is -sortof- the same as this, but it's not the same. What would be an appropriate LA, if you changed the entry requirements to a small or medium corporeal humanoid and an unmodified horse, rather than a medium or large corporeal animal, beast or vermin? What if you gave them the ability to separate themselves? Would that drastically change the value of the template?
