LUCK DEVOTION [DOMAIN] Luck makes your attacks more effective. Benefit: Once per day as a swift action, you can activate this ability to improve your combat prowess. For 1 minute, if the result of any damage roll you make is below average, you can increase it to one-half the maximum possible (rounded up). This effect works for all damage you deal, whether from physical or magical attacks.

Special: You can select this feat multiple times, gaining one additional daily use each time you take it.

Special: If you have the ability to turn or rebuke undead, you gain one additional daily use of this feat for each three daily turn or rebuke uses you expend

When making a sneak attack does this apply to each dice individually or once to the total of all the dice?

Total. If you roll 10d6 sneak attack plus, say, 1d8 for a crossbow, and you roll less than 39 damage, you can push up to 39 damage.

Huh... What happens if your roll is below average but above half the maximum? Do you "increase" it downward, or do you just keep it?

For instance, if your damage is 10d6. Average is 35, maximum is 60, half maximum is 30. What if you roll a 32?

Since it's a consciously activated ability, I would assume you wouldn't spend the usage just to drop your damage two points.

However, what I'm betting is that the person who wrote this feat didn't understand how dice averages work ((min sides + max sides)/2, not max sides/2), and thought that "average" was the same as "half".
