kick ass 1&2

So I really liked both of these comics, I thought the first movie was pretty decent, but now I'm hearing that the second is really bad and does not adhere to the plot of the second book, which I really liked.

Should I bother going to see kick ass 2 at all? If anyone has seen it already, please post whether or not I should, or,if you haven't, please just leave a general impression, anything to influence my decision.

I've not read the comic but I've seen Kick-Ass 2 and it's pretty much the first film again but with a bunch of new characters added in.

Although it's also I think quite a bit more unpleasant than the original it's not a wild tonal shift.
