This thread shall be a in-universe discussion of mostly-human people with some non-human ancestors in 3.5 and Pathfinder, and is a in-universe companion to this thread. (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=297416)

To start this thread off in character :

What sort of ancestry might a individual with literally starry eyes have have?

Does Mr. Blake have any theories?

I'd imagine a dash of Spiritfolk, with their odd connection to the otherworldly beings which live alongside us, as opposed to the other planes. While such a variation of the Spiritfolk has not been previously noted, it does make a certain amount of sense, especially if the Spiritfolk blood was a catalyst for some other bloodline, interacting in some unexpected fashion as this.

Perhaps they had a Celestial ancestor. Aasimar are quite popular. They might even have a Celestial Bloodline.

Indubitably, but one cannot rule out the constant corruption of the far realms. I would check the individual for tentacles just to be safe.

Aasimar can have sparkly eyes IIRC. I think Samsarans might be able to have them too.

Sounds kind of close to an Azurin. Ancestry with something to do with lightning - possibly a Blue or Bronze Dragon - might give a slightly starry appearance (without actually being "starry").

( Moving On With In-Universe hybrid discussion )

What non-humans might be in the family tree of a person who keeps getting strike by lightning?

One might theorize that an Earth Elemental or Earth Genasi would be in their ancient bloodlines. Lightning is always drawn towards the Earth after all, and perhaps it detects that elemental trace within the human.

Quite possibly demonic, maybe Nalfeshnee or Vrock. If there seems to be a association with dancing likely the latter.

Not exactly what the OP intended, but still in accordance with the title: Otzi the Iceman had more than twice as many neandertal genes as any living human.

Possibly such an individual might be descendent from a mutant shocker lizard.
