Tipping of the Hat

I was thinking about the "not a cloud in the sky" line (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0906.html) and wondering if it was a tip of the hat to Biscuit's speech (http://www.goblinscomic.com/06082012/) in Goblins. I decided it wasn't, but it made me wonder whether there are any such tips of the hat in OOTS. Anyone know any?

Dont know enough to say about pop (or otherwise) culture refs. But pretty sure thats just a direct hint that its very sunny.

Although I've suspected Rich is a Bob Dylan fan from some references in SoD.

So many, in fact, that even that page can't keep track of them all. (I note that "Papa Roach" links only to an article on The Smurfs, when I'm kinda positive it might be a reference to something else as well...)

EDIT: Actually, looking at it closer, it seems like music references aren't really much of a priority on TVtropes. Which would make sense, given the name of the site, except they do mention the U2 reference in #728 (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0728.html), while skipping over much more obvious references to the Rolling Stones, the Beatles, Queen, Led Zeppelin etc...

I would say there's more TVTropes editors under the age of, say, thirty-five, than over it. So.
