Hey hey playground

So, I'm transitioning into having more props in the games I run, an I figure a good start is a map.

So, does anyone know of some map generators or something with premade maps that don't have roads or names on them??

Thanks in advance :)

Behold (http://donjon.bin.sh/fantasy/world/).

I used it awhile back and it can even create random dungeon maps for you to give ideas.

Keep in mind that that's only going to generate world maps. If you want something smaller, you'll need different kinds of software.

or generate the map and call it smaller than a world. there's no inherent scale.

Well, the problem you get there is that... well, it may not have inherent scale, but it's surrounded by water and ice caps. It doesn't really generate small features like ponds or small forests.

...Though I suppose you could set it to 0% water coverage, 0% ice coverage, and just draw in those small features.

Have you looked at Roll20 (http://roll20.net/)?

It's great for online tabletop gaming, is free to sign up for (supported by ad revenue and donations), and has a lot of features, including map creators.

Just a head's up, though: It's built-in voice chat system sucks worse than a 1/4 CR Pixie with the vampire template. (Yuk yuk).
