I was just invited into a PF game that lost 2 players and need at least one more(me) to keep going.
They are level 9 and the other 2 players are playing a Wizard and a melee focused Cleric, respectively. What should I play to round out the party without being completely overshadowed by the cleric and wizard?

Druid might be a good call, since that'll give you some more melee fighting (though you've already got one). You don't have any Rogue-ish characters, though that may not be a problem if there aren't many dungeons and such. I might suggest something like an Archeologist archetype Bard.

Skills and More Melee punch are the two big things you're missing.
I see 4 decent options.
Archeologist Bard (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core-classes/bard/archetypes/paizo---bard-archetypes/archaeologist) gets all the Trapiness of a Rogue, but still has spellcasting. Doesn't help too much with the Melee though, and loses all Performance abilities (although what it gets is a fair trade).

Trap Breaker Alchemist (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/base-classes/alchemist/archetypes/paizo---alchemist-archetypes/trap-breaker-alchemist-archetype) Trades away just about all of the "poison" related features in exchange for Trap Finding and...not much else of use, but considering the Poison abilities are "meh", it's a fair enough trade. And the Mutagen can give you some decent Melee boosts.

Inquisitor (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/base-classes/inquisitor) you'd have to dip another class to be able to disarm magical traps, but it's all around a solid choice.

Summoner (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/base-classes/summoner) basically two classes in one. You have your spellcaster, and you're beatstick, and the beatstick can spend 1 evo-point to get a +8 bonus on any skill (and you can always use a 2nd level spell to get +8 to the skill of your choice on demand).

If the cleric is a decent beatstick already, I'd go for a blaster sorcerer. Otherwise I'd go for druid or summoner.

Beatstick Alchemists can be a lot of fun to play. I don't know how well they optimize, since I tend not to play very high-powered campaigns, but if that's not an issue it's a very cool class. And if you really want to focus heavily on the smashing faces aspect of Alchemist, the Master Chymist gives you some nice options.

It's a shame that the Beastmorph (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/base-classes/alchemist/archetypes/paizo---alchemist-archetypes/beastmorph) archetype interferes with Trap Breaker. Trap Breaker is probably more valuable to the party (the disarming traps with bombs ability looks like it could really come in handy), but Beastmorph adds some really nice combat options to your mutagen.
