So I've been working on this for a while now, and this is version 5, the last one I posted on the boards is HERE (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=270090). This is a Dreamscarred press project (http://dreamscarredpress.com/dragonfly/ForumsPro/viewtopic/t=2389/finish=20/start=20.html), and is an attempt to combine psionics and incarnum, as well as taking the Incarnum mechanics and transferring them over to Pathfinder (See my original Incarnum Unleashed (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=218434) project).

The base class is below and is the 5th iteration of the class. The designs are just a little below half of the total designs currently written. I have the designs for Aberrations, Animals, Constructs and Dragons and the mechanics for Fey, Humanoid, Magical Beast, Monstrous humanoid, Plant and Undead are complete, they just need to be written up (which I am doing currently).

I am looking for: spell checks, grammar checks, rule checks, flavor, balance issues, interaction issues, you name it, if you see a problem let me know, if you think something should be different, let me know.

The Flowshaper
“What are you staring at? Never seen anyone with four arms before?”
-Tuvantal, Flowshaper Elf

For most the wild is an enigma, it was there before they were and will outlast them long after they die. To a few it is the mystical essence of nature that lures them in allowing them to feed off its wonders and protects its denizens. Most people think of the shapeshifting druids or the rangers who track enemies of the forest with the relentless zeal of a wolf pack. Fewer still, however, are those who have unlocked the immeasurable power of the flow who combine their passion and reverence for nature’s mighty power into a rare form and art known as flowshaping.

Often times mistaken for druids due to the fantastical changes they put their bodies through, flowshapers are capable of changing their very form to take on the aspects of any creature that exists.

Role: The role of a flowshaper is dependent on the monsters they choose to emulate, choosing the correct combination of monsters is important for a flexible flowshaper. While not front-line fighters they excel at hit and run tactics and can gain some truly impressive powers as they progress in experience, unlocking the more powerful chakras as they go.

Special: While some of the designs are specific to certain monsters, it is not unreasonable to change the name to a different appropriate monster for your campaign setting. In worlds that do not have dinosaurs, you can change them to animal versions that fit the same abilities. See the table at the end of this section for suggestions to change the design names.

Class skills (4 + Int Modifier per level): The Flowshaper's class skills (and the key ability for each skill) are Acrobatics (Dex), Autohypnosis (Wis), Bluff (Cha), Climb (Str), Craft (Int), Fly (Dex), Handle Animal (Cha), Knowledge (arcana) (Int), Knowledge (dungeoneering) (Int), Knowledge (geography) (Int), Knowledge (nature) (Int), Knowledge (psionics) (Int), Perception (Wis), Profession (Int), Survival (Wis), and Swim (Str).

Weapon and Armor Proficiency: A flowshaper is proficient with all simple weapons, light armor, medium armor, and all shields (except tower shields).

Power Points/Day: A flowshaper’s ability to manifest powers is limited by the power points he has available. His base daily allotment of power points is given on Table:The Flowshaper. In addition, he receives bonus power points per day if he has a high Charisma score (see Table: Ability Modifiers and Bonus Power Points). His race may also provide bonus power points per day, as may certain feats and items.

A flowshaper does not have a list of known powers, he gains his powers from the designs he shapes. The flowshaper’s manifester level is equal to his flowshaper level. The DC for any powers manifested depends on the level of the power as normal.

Flowshaping: A flowshaper’s primary ability is shaping psicarnum designs, which are drawn from the flowshaper design list. You know and can shape any design from this list. The Difficulty Class for a saving throw against a flowshapers design is 10 + half the flowshapers level + Charisma modifier.

The flowshaper can shape a number of designs at once equal to his charisma modifier, he does not gain the ability to shape more if he gains a temporary bonus to charisma. If a flowshaper suffers charisma loss which brings his charisma modifier lower than his shaped designs, he loses his highest unlocked bound chakra design. If he has no bound chakra, he loses the design shaped to the highest unlocked chakra that he has. The design unshapes immediately and the flow points become uninvested. He keeps losing shaped designs this way until the number of designs shaped equals his charisma modifier. He may not rebind them unless he has a feat or magical item that allows him to do so.

To shape a design the flowshaper must have a good nights rest and meditate for 1 hour.

Focused Design (Su): You are able to maintain your psionic focus on a design. You can maintain a psionic focus with one design at a time, and you may change the target of your psionic focus as a full round action.

Flow: A flowshaper gains a pool of flow points that he can use to modify and enhance his designs. As a flowshaper gains levels, he gains more flow points. The flowshaper does not gain bonus flow points from a high ability score. Once flow points are invested into a design, they remain there until reassigned.

A flowshaper is limited in how many flow points he can invest into any single design. Initially, he can only invest one flow point into his designs. At 5th level and every four levels thereafter, he can invest an additional flow point into his designs.

As a swift action, a flowshaper you can reallocate any or all of his flow points into any of his designs.

Chakra Binds (Su): Beginning at 1st level, you can bind a design to your Crown chakra, granting you new powers based on the design chosen. You may only bind a design to a chakra for which you have a shaped a design for and only if you have that chakra unlocked, once chosen the bind lasts as long as the design is shaped.

To bind a design to a chakra the flowshaper chooses which shapes to bind while he meditates when shaping his designs. The flowshaper must choose his binds all at once and may not leave any blank to bind at a later time. The maximum amount of binds a flowshaper may have depends on his level as shown on Table:The Flowshaper up to a maximum of 7 at 18th level.

Open Chakra (Su): A flowshaper’s designs are linked to a particular chakra, and as a flowshaper gains in level, he unlocks new chakras. A flowshaper begins with the crown chakra opened. At 3rd level and every two levels up to 19th level thereafter, the flowshaper opens more chakras, as shown on Table:The Flowshaper (hands at 3rd, feet at 5th, arms at 7th, throat at 9th, waist at 11th, brow at 13th, shoulders at 15th, heart at 17th, and soul at 19th.)

Natural Attacks (Ex): As the flowshaper learns to change his body with the power of the flow, modifying himself as he sees fit, he learns to control more and more limbs at once. At first level, he is able to shape 1 design that grants him a natural attack, as he gains levels, he may shape more designs with natural attacks simultaneously, but never more than listed on Table:flowshaper. If he attempts to do so, the shape does not manifest.

Monster Lore (Ex): At 2nd level, the flowshaper adds her Charisma modifier on Knowledge skill checks in addition to her Intelligence modifier, when making skill checks to identify the abilities and weaknesses of creatures.

Spatial Surge (Su): A flowshaper learns how to infuse his designs with his psionic power, augmenting their capacity. Beginning at 6th level, the flowshaper may spend up to one power point per four class levels to enhance his designs, gaining one temporary flow point for each power point spent.

This ability, activated as a standard action, lasts for a number of rounds equal to the flowshapers' Charisma modifier.

Activating this ability again, while already in use, immediately causes the previous duration to end.

A flowshaper may end the duration as a free action at any time.

Rebind Chakra (Su): At 10th level, the flowshaper has learned the nuances of each chakra well enough to shrug off the designs he uses and to shape new ones with having to rest. As a full round action, the flowshaper can 1/day, unbind a chosen design and bind a new one. The new one replaces the old design and lasts until he reshapes his designs the next morning or until he uses this ability again.

This ability improves at 14th and 18th level granting the flowshaper another daily use.

Master of the Flow: Having truly mastered the art of flowshaping, and manipulating the ever changing currents of the flow, the flowshaper can finally be called a master of the flow. At this level of mastery, the flowshaper gains one last ability, previously unlocked to him. As a swift action 1/day, he may call upon the raw power within the flow to fill his body to the brim, almost bursting his chakras with flow. For 10 rounds, all the flowshapers designs are considered to have the maximum amount of flow points invested. Doing this is extremely tiring, and the flowshaper is exhausted for 10 minutes afterwards.

Aberration Design list

Armbands of the Deep
Creature Type: Aberration
Creature: Aboleth
Chakra: Arms
Affect: Luminescent armbands grow around your arms, slick with mucous and with an almost jelly like thickness, when submerged in water, the bands spread out forming sleek powerful fins that propel you through the water.
By shaping this design, you gain a swim speed equal to 10 ft. +10 ft./1 flow point invested.

Chakra Bind: By binding this design to your arm chakra the mucous of the Aboleth spreads out in a 5 ft. cloud giving you the ability to breath normally. For each flow point invested into this design, you may extend the cloud an additional +5 ft. allowing other creatures within the cloud to breath as normal. This ability only works when submerged by water.
Focus: By maintaining your psionic focus on the Armbands of the deep while they are bound to your arm chakra, the range for your mucous cloud doubles.
Expending Focus: By expending your psionic focus as a standard action, you can double swim speed for 1 round.

Hands of the Choker
Creature Type: Aberration
Creature: Choker
Chakra: Hands
Affect: Your hands grow in size and pliability, suckers form on the underside and your fingers can easily wrap around a throat with supernatural strength.
You gain an insight bonus to grappling equal to 1 + 1 / 1 flow point invested.

Chakra Bind: By binding this design to your hands, you gain the ability to strangle your grappled targets. Any creature that is grappled by you may not speak or cast spells.
Focus: By focusing on this design your hands can extend from your arms, you gain a +5 ft. reach bonus on your turn.
Expending Focus: By expending your focus as a move action you may constrict your target after you make a successful grapple check for 1d4 + your strength modifier damage.

Chuulian Ichor
Creature Type: Aberration
Creature: Chuul
Chakra: Waist
Affect: Your waist grows several poison sacs, and your skin grows a thin layer of venous arteries spreading the poison all over you.
You gain an insight bonus against poison equal to 1 +1 / 1 flow point invested.

Chakra Bind: Your strikes and holds can deliver your poison with prolonged contact, while grappling, your opponent must save each round you maintain a grapple or be paralyzed for 1 round.
Focus: You may add your invested flow points to the DC of the poison.
Expending Focus: By expending your focus as a move action, you gain a bonus on your combat maneuver defense against grappling equal to the flow points invested.

Cloaker Bauble
Creature Type: Aberration
Creature: Cloaker
Chakra: Throat
Affect: A leathery small bag hangs on your neck, pulsing and moaning randomly, allowing you to tap into it’s powers and manifest a series of moans and screams.
While this design is shaped, you gain an insight bonus against sonic and auditory attacks, powers and psi-like abilities equal to 1 + / 1 flow points invested.

Chakra Bind: You gain the ability to emit an infrasonic moan as a standard action once every 1d4 rounds, with one of four effects:

Fear: All creatures in a 15-foot spread must save (Will negates) or become panicked for 1 round.

Nausea: All creatures in a 15-foot cone must save (Fortitude negates) or fall prone and be nauseated for 1 round.

Stupor: A single creature within 15 feet is affected by hold monster for 1 rounds (Will negates).

Unnerve: Anyone within a 30-foot spread automatically takes a –2 penalty on attack and damage rolls for 1 round.

You are immune to these sonic, mind-affecting attacks. A creature that successfully saves against your fear, nausea, or unnerve moans cannot be affected by that same moan effect for 24 hours.
Focus: You may add your invested flow points to the DC of the moan.
Expending Focus: By expending your psionic focus as a move action you may double the area of effect of your moan ability for 1 round.

Third Eye of the Naga
Creature Type: Aberration
Creature: Dark Naga
Chakra: Brow
Affect: A black glistening gemstone in the shape of a pear diamond pushes forth from your skull to be displayed predominantly on your forehead. It’s surface has a deep purple luster and seems to twinkle when close to powerful telepathy powers.
You gain an insight bonus against telepathy powers and psi-like abilities equal to 1 + 1 / 1 flow point invested.

Chakra Bind: You gain Mind probe as a power known for as long as you have this design bound to your chakra.
Focus: By focusing on this chakra bind, you gain a 30 ft. aura which provides the benefit of the shaped design to all allies within range. (but not the chakra bind ability)
Expending Focus: By expending your psionic focus as a immediate action you may double the insight bonus granted by the design for 1 round. (this affects the aura also)

Hands of the Arachnid
Creature Type: Aberration
Creature: Ettercap
Chakra: Hands
Affect: The inside of your hands hollow out and a spinneret emerges from your palm, your fingers grow tiny thick hairs and your senses sharpen as you can literally feel the air.
You gain an insight bonus against entangling powers and psi-like abilities equal to 1 + / 1 flow point invested.

Chakra Bind: The spinneret becomes capable of spinning web and shooting it at creatures. You gain the monstrous web ability (as described in the Bestiary pg xx). This special attack is a ranged touch attack with a maximum range of 50 and 10 ft. range increments. The web has an amount of HP’s equal to your character level and the DC break, burst or escape is 10 + ½ level + Con. You are immune to your own web and you can use this special attack a number of times per day equal to 3+Con modifier.
Focus: By focusing on this chakra bind, you gain a 30 ft. aura which provides the benefit of the shaped design to all allies within range. (but not the chakra bind ability)
Expending Focus: By expending your focus as a move action, you double the bonus granted by your shaped design for 1 round.

Crown of the Froghemoth
Creature Type: Aberration
Creature: Froghemoth
Chakra: Crown
Affect: A stark brown crown of rusted moldy green iron forms upon your head, it reeks of rotting sewage and swamplands, and seems to attract all manner of electricity, draining the charge uselessly into its rusted layers.
You gain electricity resistance 5 + 5 / 1 flow point invested.

Chakra Bind: By binding this chakra to the design you gain the Froghemoths immutable ability to ignore all attacks shaped from electricity. You gain immunity to electricity damage, however, you become slowed by it and when subject to an electricity attack you can only use a move or standard action for 1 round/10 hp’s of damage of prevented damage.
Focus: By focusing on the chakra bind, you gain temporary HP’s every time you are subject to electricity damage. You gain an amount of temporary HP’s equal to 1/10 electricity damage prevented by the design or chakra bind in 1 round. These Temporary HP’s last for as long as you maintain focus, are removed via damage or you receive more electricity damage, in which case the new amount of temporary HP’s replaces the previous amount and does not stack.
Expending Focus: By expending your focus as a swift action, you may ignore the slowing effect for 1 round.

Overlarge Belt
Creature Type: Aberration
Creature: Froghemoth
Chakra: Waist
Affect: A huge belt of thick slick leather forms and wraps around your waist, as it does, your body grows slightly, shoulders becoming more hunched, and arms elongating slightly.
You gain the effects and benefits of being larger when it would be beneficial to you (like being swallowed whole or grappling). For each flow point invested you gain an additional +1 size category and the consummate benefits of your new size. You do not actually change sizes and do not gain the benefits therein for doing so (AC, attack, etc). This does not stack with other effects that alter your size.

Chakra Bind: By binding this design, you grow one size category as per the expansion psionic power. This increase in size does not stack with other effects that increase size. Your equipment is similarly affected and reverts to its original size 1 round later when dropped.
Focus: By maintaining your psionic focus on this chakra you empower the effect, doubling the result. The increase to size is +2 as if you had augmented the expansion power.
Expending Focus: As a swift action, you may expend your focus and reduce your size by one category. (effectively dismissing the augmentation of your focus)

Eyestalk of the Swampbeast
Creature Type: Aberration
Creature: Froghemoth
Chakra: Brow
Affect: A single eyestalk protrudes from your forehead standing a hand above your head, it ends in 3 toad like eyes which blink while starring, alien like at everything within sight.
You gain blindsight out to a range of 5 ft. + 5 ft. / 1 flow point invested.

Chakra Bind: Your blindsight is magnified, you gain blindsight out to 15 ft. + 5ft. / 1 flow point invested.
Focus: By focusing on this chakra bind, your blindsight range is 60 + 5ft. / 1 flow point invested.
Expending Focus: Expending your focus as a standard action doubles the range of your blindsight for 1 round.

Choker of Mouths
Creature Type: Aberration
Creature: Gibbering Mouther
Chakra: Throat
Affect: A green choker forms around your throat, tiny little mouths line the piece of jewelry, twisting and moaning as you move, whispering to you dark secrets strange and foreign languages.
By shaping this design, you gain a random language known + 1 / 1 flow point invested. You may speak, read and write the language fluently as long as you have flow points invested.

46-49 |Giant|99-100|Undercommon
If you un-invest flow points and then re-invest later, you do not gain another randomly rolled language, you gain the language you lost.
Chakra Bind: By binding the design to your throat chakra, you gain the ability to gibber like the namesake gibbering mouther. As a standard action, you may send forth a blast of gibbering nonsense in a 30 ft. cone, any creatures caught in this area must save or be confused for 1 round. This is a mind-affecting [compulsion, insanity] effect.
Focus: You may add your invested flow points to the DC of your gibbering ability.
Expending Focus: By expending your focus as a move action, you can send a blast of gibbering in a 60 ft. cone instead.

Mind of the PsiWyrms
Creature Type: Aberration
Creature: Neolethid
Chakra: Crown
Affect: Your mind grows in size and ability, you gain insights into all things psionic as your mind emulates the ancient and dark neolethids.

So... was Incarnum more strictly WotC property than stuff like, say, Binders (which went over basically unchanged except for specific vestiges spirits)?

EDIT: You give it power points, but not a list.

It was, the re-write has been specifically done to incorporate psionics into it, at first it was just the requirement of having psionic foci, allowing them to focus on the design (soumeld) and to expend the focus.

The word 'Flow' comes from the DSP Third Dawn campaign setting and is analogous to the Weave of Faerun.

I'm not sure about the specifics, but Jeremy and Andreas wanted to stay away from Meldshapers, Soulmelds, etc, moving away from the soul power fluff and towards the shaping of the flow into designs and shapes.

EDIT: You give it power points, but not a list.
Indeed, I took a concept from the Aegis class, and gave it pp with a list, there are several designs (around 22) that grant powers as known while bound to chakras, and I'm working on more class abilities to utilize the PP (in addition to the one already)

Also, apart from the lack of a list of powers to manifest, "Flowshaping" has an oddity.

You say it doesn't let you shape any more designs from a temporary Charisma bonus. Makes sense.

But it doesn't lose designs from a "loss of charisma". ERROR. That would include permanent losses of Charisma. It would also include wearing a magic item that gives Charisma for more than 24 hours, so it counts as permanent and affects things as such, then removing it - you'd keep the flows.

Ah, that would be a problem.

I would have to make it lose shapes if lose of Charisma occurs...Good catch.

Hmm, how about something like this:

If a flowshaper suffers charisma loss either from damage or drain, he loses his highest unlocked bound chakra design. If he has no bound chakra, he loses the design shaped to the highest unlocked chakra that he has.

The design unshapes immediately and the flow points become uninvested. He may not rebind them unless he has a feat or magical item that allows him to do so.

Might cause oddness in terms of binds being prioritized, in that if you shaped something to Soul and bound something to Crown, you'd lose the Crown one. Unsure whether this is an intended effect.

Also, I'd just say any loss of Charisma other than a penalty with a duration less than 24 hours (to match up with temporary bonuses counting as permanent) should count, in case of new stuff added in other books. For example, does Ability Burn still exist in Pathfinder (I searched it, and it shows up in Psychic Chirurgery, but without a cross-reference link)?

So from my reading: you know all the forms from the start but can only shape them once you unlock the relevant chakra. Each day you bind a form to one of your chakras, but can meditate for an hour at anytime to change your active forms. You can focus on any bound form to get bonuses and invest flow points in any shape to get other bonuses/
Cha is important as your power dc and other things scale off of it, Con is important because... (I swear I read something about it in there somewhere but I'm not certain), Str and Dex are important becuase of natural attacks and Wis and Int are dump stats. Was any of that wrong?

The power points feel kind of tacked on unless you shape one of the few forms that temporarily grant you a single power, maybe you should include something like the Elan's Resilience and Repletion in the class to have a use that everyone would consider? Because if you don't take the power shapes, you don't get much from the psionics bit at all.

I might change it to the highest chakra shaped instead, to avoid confusion. Indeed, loss in Cha should trigger the unshaping of your highest design regardless of what/how/duration.

And I'm not sure if it does, I came to the same result as you, but if Psychic Chirurgery has it in its text, perhaps it does, at least in DSP-world.

You can shape any design you know.
You can only bind them to an open chakra once you unlock it.
You have a limited amount of chakras you can bind.
You can shape an amount of designs equal to your CHA mod.
You must shape and bind at the beginning of the day, only once a day.
You must have the design shaped to the appropriate chakra to bind it to that chakra.

I am working on the PP being more relevant to the class, but as of now, it should suffice.
EDIT: also, the Elans abilities are coming in another design list for Humanoids

Can a flowshaper gain a psicrystal?

Can a flowshaper gain a psicrystal?
Or, more accurately: Does a flowshaper have a manifester level?

Great question!

Yes to both, you can gain it through the feat and it's manifested level is equal to its class level.

With Swift Feet of the Cheetah, can I make 2 natural attacks after a charge, or is it weapons only?

With Swift Feet of the Cheetah, can I make 2 natural attacks after a charge, or is it weapons only?

Either or, I initially intended it for natural weapons only, but we shall see, I don't think it's too much of a difference.

Charka Binds (Su): Beginning at 1st level, you can bind a design to your Crown chakra, granting you new powers based on the design chosen. You may only bind a design to a chakra for which you have a shaped a design for and only if you have that chakra unlocked, once chosen the bind lasts as long as the design is shaped. Spelling error: charka binds

What happens if the flowshaper is immune to exhaustion?

I'm also missing knowledge arcana for constructs and dragons and knowledge dungeoneering for aberrations.

Can a flowshaper take expanded knowledge?

Some feedback on designs:

Note: The level is only relevant for the bound effects and anything else that requires a "design bound to chakra".

Crown chakra -> Level 1
{table=head]Name|Basic effect|Commentary|Bound effect|Commentary|Focus effect|Commentary|Focus burst|Commentary
Crown of the Jesters Fool|Telepathy(animals) (10+10/FP)ft|Animals are stupid, so..fancy wild empathy|Learn power->ASTRAL CONSTRUCT|Non-shapers need two feats to learn this at lvl 1, or 1 feat at lvl 3...|double duration of astral construct, stacks with extend power for x3|Requires design bound to chakra, very powerful|Immediate, take 1/2 dmg to astral construct for 1 rnd|Good
Crown of the Froghemoth|(5+5/FP) Electricity resistance|Useful|Electricity immunity, electric dmg slows for 1/10 dmg rnds|Immunity+drawback at lvl 1 is interesting. Beware 1-level dips into flowshaper?|Gain temp HP = 1/10 dmg from electric dmg, duration=focus|Interesting, situationally useful|Swift, ignore slow from bound effect for 1 rnd|Good, requires design bound to chakra
Mind of the PsiWyrms|(1+FP) insight bonus to Knowledge(psionics)|Useful|Learn power->MIND THRUST|Blasting is PP-intensive, decent option to have|double basic effect|Simple & good|Standard, take 10 on a Knowledge(psionics) check|Simple & good
Crown of the Nightking|(1+FP) insight bonus to Perception|Very Useful|Gain Blindsense (30/FP)ft|Good, potentially impressive range|share basic effect within 30'|Simple & good|Immediate, double basic effect on self/allies for 1 round|Simple & good
Headband of the Sandspider|(1+FP) insight bonus to Initiative|Very Useful|Gain Tremorsense (20/FP)ft|Good, decent range|share basic effect within 30'|Simple & good|Immediate, double basic effect on self/allies for 1 round|Simple & good
Mask of the Wolven|(1+FP) insight bonus to Survival|Useful|Gain Scent|Alright, aids tracking, but underwhelming|Rapid tracking|You're a better tracker than a ranger|Standard, take 10 on a Survival check|You are a very reliable tracker, too
Gills of the Aquatic hunter|Hold breath for (2+2/FP) extra rnds, don't drown immediately if KO|Situationally useful?|Gain Waterbreathing|Now you have no reason to invest FP into this, ever. Also, why is this crown and not throat?|Endure elements+no pressure dmg underwater|Necessary for extended underwater adventures|Standard, take 10 on a Survival check if underwater|You are an...underwater tracker?
Horns of the Herdbeast|Gain horns(primary, 1d4/1d6/1d8 for S/M/L, respectively). Horns gain +FP(enhancement) to atk/dmg|Simple & good. Are the horns magical if you invest FP?|Gain Powerful Charge(Gore->x2 dmg)|Simple & good|Gain Improved Overrun feat|Overrun sucks, focus on something else|Swift, ignore AC penalty from charge|Okay, but you should really focus on another design
Raging at the Moon|Gain diehard feat, increase death threshold by (1+FP)|Useful; fix the wording: First it says increase death threshold(Con score) by (1+FP), then it mentions death threshold as (Con score+FP)|Gain ability: Insightful rage(standard activate/cancel, gain +FP insight bonus to STR/Con, -2 AC; lasts until FP removed/rage canceled, 10 min exhaustion after rage ends)|Clear up the wording. I suppose the normal rage penalties(skill checks limited, no spellcasting/manifesting, treated as "raging", etc) apply. Unlimited duration is odd, the ability to freely reinvest FP while raging is odd as well. Harsh penalty discourages ending rage|Gain insight bonus to Will = FP|Good, requires design bound to chakra|Swift, ignore AC penalty from rage for 1 rnd|Okay...
Crown of the Dragon|Gain wild empathy(using flowshaper lvl) depending on active energy type, +(1+FP) insight bonus|Situationally useful|Learn a minor power depending on active energy type|Situationally useful, flexible because you can refocus and thus have access to 10 different powers with only 1 design+chakra bind; unless you have to choose a specific dragon when shaping the design, in case this is much worse|Gain "Speak with Animals" keyed to your WE creatures|Situationally useful|Immediate, double basic effect for 1 rnd|When you really need to befriend something via Wild empathy...
Hands chakra -> Level 3
{table=head]Name|Basic effect|Commentary|Bound effect|Commentary|Focus effect|Commentary|Focus burst|Commentary
Hands of the Choker|(1+FP) insight bonus to CMB/CMD(grapple)|Useful|Any creature grappled by you can't speak/cast verbal spells|Extremely powerful|Gain +5' reach on your turn|Very powerful, better than the lunge feat|Move, constrict(via grapple) for 1d4+Str dmg|Low dmg, no scaling with size
Hands of the Arachnid|(1+FP) insight bonus to saves(entangling powers/PLAs)|Rarely useful|Gain Web (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/bestiary/rules-for-monsters/universal-monster-rules#TOC-Web-Ex-) ability; DC 10+1/2L+Con, HP=L, 3+Con uses/day|Interesting, why Con-based instead of Cha?|share basic effect within 30'|Simple, rarely useful|Move, double basic effect for 1 rnd|Inconsistent(->should be immediate, double for self/allies for 1 rnd), also terrible because basic effect is very narrow
Touch of the Mindsink|Gain ability: Draining touch(standard, melee touch(no AoO), drain (1+(FP*Cha)) PP OR deal (1+FP) Int dmg)|Interesting, very deadly vs low-int creatures like animals and/or int-based casters|Gain temp HP=PP drained(or 5*Int dmg) when using Draining touch; duration=Cha|Very Powerful, this makes being in melee much safer(A level 1 flowshaper with 18 Cha gains 5-10 temp HP with this)|Double duration of temp HP|Not very useful, requires design bound to chakra|Free, manifest Empathy as part of a successful attack|Interesting
Claws of the Slumbering giant|Gain 2 claws(primary, 1d3/1d4/1d6 for S/M/L, respectively). Claws gain +FP(enhancement) to atk/dmg; cannot wield weapons in claws|Simple & good. Are the claws magical if you invest FP?|Gain Rend(Claw+1.5 Str), triggers at 2+ claw hits|Simple & good|Claws deal damage as if one size larger|Simple & good|Swift, claws gain +FP insight to hit for 1 rnd|Simple & good
Fists of the Iron Warrior|Gain (2+2/FP) insight bonus to melee dmg|Simple & good|First melee attack each turn applies 2x Str modifier. At 8th level, all attacks apply 2x Str modifier|Simple & good. Level-based scaling is an oddity|Melee attacks treated as adamantium vs DR|Simple & good|Move, melee attacks penetrate all DR except DR/- for 1 rnd|Move action to activate means that you probably deal less damage than with a full attack. Situationally useful
I'm also missing knowledge arcana for constructs and dragons and knowledge dungeoneering for aberrations.

Can a flowshaper take expanded knowledge?

Of course! I'll add those knowledges immediately!

Yes, you have a manifester level, PP, but no list, so this would be perfect for a flowsahper.

Some feedback on designs:

Note: The level is only relevant for the bound effects and anything else that requires a "design bound to chakra".

{stuff}

Ok, first off, thanks for taking a look, second...*cracks knuckles*

Crown of the Jesters Fool: Animals are stupid, however this was my way of giving 'speak with animals' but not (trying to stay away from spells).

Crown of the Froghemoth: Good point on the dip, but I still think being slowed makes up for the benefit. Balances it out. Maybe reduce the slowness (and increase the low level duration) by FP invested?

Gills of the Aquatic hunter: I wanted to add options and flavor for water based elements/campaigns/situations, I always think that water spells/powers/effects don't get much love, so here's this.

Why is this a crown chakra and not throat, well it was going to be one or the other, and due to to power equivalency crown won out, throat is/should be equivalent to 5th level powers, crown is equal to 1st.

You are right, there is no reason to invest anymore, perhaps change it to "x+FP uses per day for y amount of hours or minutes"?

Also, underewater tracking? Hell yeah.

Raging at the Moon: I didn't think about the unlimited rage option, that would be...interesting, maybe uses per day as above with a limited duration. (I think that sounds much better)

Crown of the Dragon: You do need to choose a dragon type (which matches your chosen energy type) so yeah...it's supposed to be unique and niche power...it is a psionic focus ability so meh, it shouldn't be overpowered much anwyay.

Hands of the Arachnid: Maybe change it to: "spider abilities, webs and entanglement affects/powers" to widen it but keep it within the niche of webs and spiders? This is Con based as the Web ability is Con based, also to prevent SAD.

Expending the focus: I'll get it changed to immediate, I wholeheartedly agree.

Do the claws of the slumbering giant add str to damage, or do you only get to use your mod if you have the rend attack?
Would the powerful build from Overlarge Belt give me bigger claws?

Per the ability:

"these attacks are primary attacks and therefore use your full bab to hit as part of a full attack and adds your full strength modifier to damage. "

And yes, Overlarge belt would increase the die size for your claws.

Copy/paste error:

"Arms of the First Rogue
...
Focus: By focusing on this chakra bind, your breath attack is harder to avoid, you can increase the DC by an amount equal to your invested flow points.
Expending Focus: By expending your psionic focus as a standard action, you may re roll your search check when looking for traps, you must take the second roll even if it is worse than the first."

Also, is Touch of the Mindsink a touch attach? The flavor text says yes, the rules text just says melee attack.

Great catch, I fixed the breath attack copypasta error.

Initially, touch of the mindsink was just a regular melee attack, however I just changed it to a touch attack to align with the fluff.

I presume that you can focus on a design as part of gaining focus, so then psionic meditation would let you focus as a move action (and require 13 WIS, like every other psionic character). Might want to note this in the text on focusing.

Regarding arms of the first rogue, windwipe, a level 4 power, seems strong to access at level 3 (arms chakra). Mind control too. I know they are never augmented, which limits the scope of mindcontrol, but still...

Not that I don't plan on abusing them in the test game.

You gain the weapon finesse feat and an insight bonus equal to 1 + 1 / 1 flow points invested to any weapon you use your dexterity to attack with.

Insight bonus to what? Attack, damage, or both? Flavor text implies both.

Yes, you can get psionic meditation allowing you to regain your focus with a move as normal.

You are right, Mindwipe is a little powerful, I had an issue with finding an appropriate power for that...I think I am going to replace it with Brain Lock (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/psionics-unleashed/psionic-powers/b/brain-lock)

that would 'damage'
Initially, it was meant to allow you to use your dex for damage, much like shadow blade, but it got too wordy and clunky, so I just added the weapon finesse feat and added a bonus to damage with weapons that use that feat.

So I'll go fix those things now...

Q3: Nope, (and I removed the Su tag) ability focus is per shape.

I think a feat or archetype to allow moving the number of designs shaped to be based off a different stat may be needed. Right now a melee-focused flowshaper is quite MAD, requiring strength to be maxed (to hit/damage), Con to be decent (to not die), 13 WIS (to get psionic meditation, required if you ever plan on switching focus or expending focus in combat), and still wants to get CHA to 30 ASAP to be able to make full use of his designs.

Perhaps having a method to get the # shaped moved to CON, or even WIS, even leaving the DCs on CHA, would be good. Then if you want to focus on the no save designs (natural attacks, vision modes, etc), you won't be CHA dependent. An archetype could delay chakras by a level, maybe increase the natural attacks shape-able by one. Right now the class seems to favor eschewing STR melee for other abilities.

If I had time I would run the numbers on grappling to see if its worthwhile. Medium BAB delays the already late useful grappling feats, and I don't think there is a way to negate all the tricks like the tetori has.

Did you switch the chakra binds? I was sure arms where at 3, but now it says hands.

I was thinking about either creating a feat to allow a flowshaper to take that feat with CHA, or even just adding it to flowshaping that he can use his CHA in place of WIS to qualify for psionic feats.

You are right, he is kinda MAD, which is kinda bad...especially with some shapes going off Con mod....It might be possible to switch everything to WIS which would be fine, and well....in line with the idea a little more (psywar and druid come to mind).

This has a good direction, and I think I will go this direction, but for the playtest we'll keep it to cha for now.

I didn't move the chakra binds, not recently, however I did adjust them from the 3.5 stuff.

When I read the class, I think WIS based, but that's just me. I don't like having any DC's based off something other than the prime stat either, too inelegant.

Easy to get WIS SAD too, amulet with guided on it for all natural attacks, dip monk 1 level for AC if you want, which would be great with the waist bind for bronze guardian. Probably too good (8+flow+core stat?). Inquisitor for a level too, if you feel social. But then you are getting distracted from your core build.

Indeed, however a waist bind is at 11th plus the bronze guardian bind counts as armor, so thats a no go.

You mean its a tail slap, right? Pincers imply...having pincers. Opposed claws, capable of grasping. Not generally associated with tails and poison. A tail slap getting poison doesn't make since either, hence assuming you wanted it to be a stinger, which matches the location and the poison enhancement. Its only one die size down damage wise. The primary attack part doesn't matter too much. If you have a weapon, it makes no difference. If you are natural weapon focused you are grabbing multiattack anyway.

Regarding the armor, it doesn't count as armor, it gives an armor bonus. If you want it to count as armor you'll need to say so. Right now it falls under the same category as bracers of armor, a armor bonus to ac that is not, in fact, armor. Should also specify if it has ACP, arcane failure, and impact on druids if it is actual armor.

No, it specifically states in the column: Tail slap, pincers

functionally per PF, one and the same.

...

Mechanically tail slap and pincers are the same, but that doesn't make the names interchangeable. If you want it to be a tail slap, call it a tail slap. Hoof, tentacle, wing are mechanically the same, but the names are not interchangeable when describing a given attack, or when resolving limb dependency (though that is a separate issue).

I still say that a sting (as the sting natural attack) makes more sense, but calling it a tail slap will shut me up. Calling it a pincer will get you on the lists of "what where they thinking".

Sandspider=scorpion. Scorpion = poison stinger. They don't bludgeon with their tails, they sting. About the most iconic stinging tail in existence.

This is, of course, all meant to be helpful, not adversarial. Tone on the internet is hard.

You could save a lot of space by just listing each natural attack as primary or secondary instead of listing out the rules for their use on every design. The wording you use is slightly off anyhow, so I think it would be better to omit it. You aren't building a natural attack-focused character without learning those rules anyway.

Is the enhancement bonuses from invested flow for natural attacks apply to both attack and damage? Do they count as magic (or anything else)?

I had thought about that, and I am still currently putting together a "flowshaping" section that details evertyhing so I don't have to repeat it in all the designs and what not, kinda like this (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/psionics-unleashed/psionic-powers). Well, you can have an enhancement bonus to just to hit, like with MW weapons, so it pays to specify.

I'm good with PF natural attacks (have a scary aegis (aberrant) build idea), but my psionics aren't that strong. Only psionic character I've played for any time is that vitalist/cleric in our RHoD game (RIP). I've built a bunch of others, but not really got to spend time with them. I do read psyren's guides though.

I notice that sometimes you get a benefit for focusing on a chakra bind and sometimes for focusing on a design. Might want to call out the distinction in the focused design text, if there is one. If not, the language needs to to cleaned up. I presume when it says design that you can focus on it even if it is unbound, but the ones that say chakra require it to be bound to gain the focus benefit.

Can't wait for the humanoid list.

Chakra: Brow
Affect: Your eyes begin to glow with the preternatural power of the nymph, purple streaks of power flow from them as you pierce the soul of your enemies, fixing them to the ground.
You gain a single gaze attack, as a standard action you may direct your gaze towards a target within 10 ft. + 10 ft. / 1 flow point invested, the target must save or be blinded for 1 round + 1 round / 1 flow point invested.

Chakra Bind: By binding this design, your gain the ability to stun with a look, in addition to blinding, your gaze attack also stuns the target for half the amount of invested flow points.
Focus: If you focus on this design, the DC of gaze attack increases by the amount of flow points invested into this design.
Expending Focus: By expending your psionic focus as an swift action a creature who fails his save is permanently blinded.

I presume you mean "also stuns the target for a number of round equal to half the number of flow points invested (minimum X)"

Can you gain the benefits of having focus and expending focus on the same attack? Obviously you have to refocus to get the benefit back after, but is the expend bonus before or after the attack is made? For this design, can you choose to use the swift action to expend focus after the result of the save is announced? (Seems kind of cheap if you can)

Conflict:
Raging at the Moon
Creature Type: Animal
Creature: Wolverine, Badger
Chakra: Crown
Affect: You gain an irresistible rage of all things, at the slightest of provocations you start foaming at the mouth and rage at the moon.
You gain the diehard feat as long as you have this design shaped. You increase your death threshold (constitution score) by 1 + 1 / 1 flow point invested and do not die until you have negative hit points greater than your death threshold (constitution score + flow points invested)

Chakra Bind: By binding this design, you gain the ability to rage, as a standard action you may enter a superficial rage similar to the Barbarians. You gain an insight bonus to Strength and Constitution equal to the amount of flow points invested and suffer a -2 penalty to AC. Your hit points increase by the appropriate amount when your constitution increases, but these are not temporary hit points and are not lost first. You may end the rage as a standard action or by investing your flow points in another design. You lose all temporary hit points gained from this design and are exhausted for 10 minutes.
Focus: If you focus on this design, you may add an insight bonus to your will save equal to the amount of flow points invested while you are raging.
Expending Focus: By expending your psionic focus as a swift action, you can ignore the AC penalty from raging for one round.

Also, duration of the rage? If its going to be identical to rage, I would just reference the rage ability. If its different, I would make them actual temp HP to prevent the rage death issue.

A somewhat radical suggestion:

Simplify the designs from 4 to 3 parameters:

Basic effect, Bound effect, Burst effect(Expend focus to do X)

Change Focused Design to:

Focused Design(+1)
blabla...a Flowshaper can concentrate on 1 design...
...Choose a design when gaining psionic focus. As long as the flowshaper maintains psionic focus, the flow capacity of that design is increased by +1.

At 10th level, the flow capacity of the design improves by +2 instead.
At 18th level, the flow capacity of the design improves by +3 instead.

Concerning the other class features:

The table, at first glance, seems cluttered; four columns(Flow points, Flow capacity, PP and Bound Chakras) seem overwhelming/complicated, and might discourage some players from choosing this class.

Similarly, the design writeup with four distinct parameters to each design, in addition to the new vocabulary that is part of a new system might provoke a "TL;DR" reaction.

Yes, traditional spellcasters have vastly larger spell libraries and are, actually, more complex than the flowshaper as presented here, but I think the introduction of a new subsystem(Incarnum), which is by design choice already married to another subsystem(psionics) should be simplified as much as possible, in order to lower the learning curve and ultimately attract more people to try out this class.

As such, I'd hide the Flow capacity from the main class table.

Example:
Table:The Flowshaper
{table=head]Level|BAB|Fort|Ref|Will|Special|Flow Points/day|Chakra Binds|Power Points
1st|+0|+2|+0|+2|Flowshaping, open chakra (crown)|1|1|1

7th|+5|+5|+2|+5|Open chakra (arms)|6|3|11
8th|+6/+1|+6|+2|+6|Rebind Chakra 2/day|7|3|14
9th|+6/+1|+6|+3|+6|Open chakra (throat)|11|4|17
10th|+7/+2|+7|+3|+7|Focused design +2|12|4|20
11th|+8/+3|+7|+3|+7|Open chakra (waist)|14|4|24

20th|+15/+10/+5|+12|+6|+12|Master of the flow, Rebind Chakra 5/day|38|7|70
Concerning the limit on natural attacks:
Simply set it equal to the maximum flow capacity+1.
This way, you have 2 natural attacks from 1-4, 3 from 5-8, 4 from 9-12, 5 from 13-16, and 6 from 17-20.
This allows you to shape designs with two attacks(claws/wings/etc) at level 1, and doesn't seem overpowered(compared to the eidolon (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/base-classes/summoner/eidolons) for max natural attacks)

Examples of my first suggestion:

Eyes of the Nymph
Creature Type: Fey
Creature: Nymph

Yes, I did. Fixed.

This particular one, is missing any text saying otherwise, I'll amend it to say 'You may only activate this ability as part of the attack.' Fixed.

I have already fixed this one, I'm working off two forums with feedback from both, I fixed the master list on the google docs (https://docs.google.com/document/d/1QoouMK51NufNDFlVtsgHULND-JwaEhQM7aYbMihcxKw/edit?usp=sharing), here is the corrected version:

"Chakra Bind: By binding this design, you gain the ability to rage, as a free action a number of times per day equal to your constitution modifier, you may enter a superficial rage similar to the Barbarians.

While in rage, a flowshaper gains a +1 morale bonus to her Strength and Constitution per point of flow invested. In addition, she takes a –2 penalty to Armor Class. The increase to Constitution grants the flowshaper bonus hit points if your constitution modifier increases, but these disappear when the rage ends and are not lost first like temporary hit points. While in rage, a flowshaper cannot use any Charisma-, Dexterity-, or Intelligence-based skills (except Acrobatics, Fly, Intimidate, and Ride) or any ability that requires patience or concentration.

The rage lasts for a number of rounds equal to 3 + newly modified constitution modifier.

A flowshaper can end her rage as a free action and is exhausted after raging for a number of rounds equal to 2 times the number of rounds spent in the rage. A flowshaper cannot enter a new rage while exhausted but can otherwise enter rage multiple times during a single encounter or combat. If a flowshaper falls unconscious, her rage immediately ends."

(That Google docs file is the Master list that I edit and work on, so if you want to use that, feel free, its shared for viewing, I apologize however, it's very hard to keep both the document and this thread up to date, I try to though...)

I totally agree with many of your statements, however some of the design for psicarnum was requested specifically, so that has to be.

I might remove the flow capacity from the table, I DO think it is cluttered, and that could very easily be explained with a mini table as before.

I didn't want 2 natural attacks at first level, as to me, that was a little overkill, and seemed quite abusive, with possible dips for magical enhanced 2 x claws and the like....

Also, I got the Humanoid list completed (designs are listed at the bottom of the Master list linked above, I'll get them added sometime today for the thread)

Ah I'll stick to reading the master then. Parallel revisions are a pain.

Some gut reactions as I read the humanoid designs: (preface: when I see +skill or +saves to small subset of powers my eyes glaze over. I know they can be useful, but they aren't INTERESTING. Same with granting the minor ability in a radius using focus.)

Frog of Kings (Crown): Why would I ever shape this? If you know you have swimming up ahead, there are better choices. You are unlikely to know that you will need to hold your breath for a long time otherwise, so pretty much a loser unbound. Must have a good bind to make up for it...shaken for one round once an hour? Nope, never shaping this one. I know crown binds have to be weak since they are open at 1, but this is bad at 1 and doesn't scale.

Madness of the Derro: (crown) stat switching! a good daily bind if you don't want astral constructs. Does it qualify for feats as well?

Elven Crown: (Crown) Very situational. Feels kind of like you just had to have an elf design. Maybe a weapon prof to give it some appeal? Maybe the bonus should be simplified to just "on any save against sleep effects. Or use the "powers or PLA" wording used elsewhere. Honestly, I think this one needs to be redone completely.

Furious Glare of the Bestial Orc: (Crown) Raging at the moon gets you diehard just for shaping it, which is better than ferocity. Only good if you want to max intimidate.

Hands of the Hive: (Hands) natural armor certainly beats the ac vs AOO's another design gives. Energy ray with a damage boost...solid choice.

Immovable Bastion of the Clouds: (feet) combat maneuver what? Focus text needs fixing. I like the size increase, nicely mirror the fey size reducer.

Stature of the Hunched Giant: (feet) I like it. Simple, useful for both casters and scrappers. Actually great for casters just for the PP boost. +100 PP at level 20 is nice (ie 5 fully-augmented castings). I don't see much on the feet slot that compares. Does this not provide any benefit if no flow is invested? IE is the equation pp=1*flow*level, =1+(1*flow*level), or =(1+flow)*level?

Speed of the Xeph: (feet) limited uses of increased speed...if my feet are open I probably just bind cheetah to get the flat +20 and put the flow elsewhere. Might be worth it at levels where you have more flow points than good places to use them but when is that?

Arms of the Deepdwarves: (arms) more powers are always good. Expansion is good for melee...might prefer the always-on size from bastion, depends on the situation.

Arms of the Angry Ogre: (Arms) Damage, fine. Reach, nice. Should stack with feats and size increases too, so I see possibilities for a lockdown build. Any designs in the pipes to boost tripping? Bruisers have to make painful choices on the arms/hands slots.

Fangs of the Walking Serpent: (Throat) How often do you save against poison? Weird sort of bite attack, no strength requirement so caster-types can use it...but why would they? No strength bonus to damage and uses a natural attack slot, so there are better choices for brutes. Meh.

Howl of the North Wind: )Throat) Limited wild empathy? meh. Bind-awesome. Been waiting for a bind like this. Too bad you get it late. Need to clarify interaction with attack-granting designs. Does it count as a NA bind? Can you use NA binds while transformed? Mostly supersedes the wolf crown. Any limit on uses/duration?

Strength of the Hill Giant: (Waist) Nice, but does the insight damage bonus to PA stack with insight bonuses to melee damage? Should specify that the expending focus only benefits one attack, though the furious focus clarification implies it.

Seer of the Third Eye: (brow) Another vector for melee damage boosts, good if you use hands for claws. Insight, so can't stack with the construct one, also good...REROLLS! Very nice. Brow gets too many good choices. If there is a split chakra feat brow will be a popular pick. A good 1-20 pick for a melee build, good bind for everyone (though gets a lot of competition)

Thief of the Night: (brow) nice, but seems plain after the last one. Probably rather get blindsense or blindsight from other binds, but it has uses, especially if you can generate darkness reliably. See invisible as a focus is nice though, keeps it competitive, though as before brow is popular.

Mantle of the Abberant Manifester: (shoulders) Hi, I'm an Elan. I sing songs and... oh, wrong Elan. Solid choice, not sure if the bind is worth the shoulder slot. Have to compare to other shoulder binds, haven't looked carefully at them. Unbound it lets you just crush saves as long as you have PP. Does the focus benefit allies who don't have PP? I read it as no, as they need to spend their own to use it.

(No heart binds)

Flesh of the Undying Troll: (Soul) self-healing. Finally! Regeneration is powerful...but not too strong at that level. Good. 5 HP/rnd is too low to really matter in combat, but regeneration does make you hard to kill. Fire is common enough that this may actually be too late to be really useful as a soul bind. Maybe if it was a greater amount of fast healing instead? I suppose getting immunity to fire wouldn't be too hard at this point, but enemies will have the means of making you stay dead regardless since they will be CR 18+ at this point.

If you think pounce is too powerful for cheetah (not sure I agree, synthesists get it at 1, several others get it around 10-11), perhaps you could make the number of attacks scale with flow invested. Or have the expend get you pounce. Or a combination of the two.

I'd like to gather designs by slot and give you feedback, just haven't had the time.

Crowns

Crown of the Froghemoth
Shape - scaling electrical resistance. Useful if you know what you will be facing, limited otherwise.
Bind - awesome if you expect electrical damage. Elemental immunity is, by nature, usually of limited utility though. No objections to this.
Bind/Expend - weak THP ability, ignore slow, fine, fine.
Overall - situational but responsible balance

Mind of the PsiWyrms
Shape - bonus to psicraft. Useful with transparency (isn't psicraft = spellcraft in PF?) or in a psionics heavy campaign, but this is really the psion's job
Bind- mind thrust, level 1 power. Powers known are always nice, but you don't have the PP to rely on blasts. Especially when a save negates.
Focus & expend: only using these out of combat, but makes you very reliable,
Overall - good bind if you want a blast (and have extra PP from somewhere), covering psicraft is a fair bonus

Crown of the Nightking
Shape - bonus to perception, the most rolled skill in the game
Bind - blindsense with awesome range
Focus - share it with the party!
Overall - perception is good. A sensory bonus is most useful before combat or against hard to detect foes. This bind is great for both. Must-have for the scout-type, maybe worth a dip for other classes.

Headband of the Sandspider
Shape - bonus to initiative. We all know the value of going first.
Bind - Tremorsense. Worse than blindsense with worse range.
Overall - only take this over Crown of the Nightking if you want to initiative bonus, but sensing the ambush may be better than an initiative bonus. I count it as inferior. Maybe swap the ranges?

Mask of the Wolven
Shape - survival bonus? Meh, only your thing if you are lost in the wilderness or you are binding it and need the bonus to track
Bind - Scent.
Overall - Nice if you need it, but I'd leave it to the ranger/druid/animal companion and take crown of the nightking if you want to boost your senses.

Gills of the Aquatic hunter
Overall - a lifesaver if you need to swim today, not bothering otherwise.

Horns of the Herdbeast
Shape - Primary natural attack that leaves your hands open.
Bind - Powerful charge.
Overall - Potential for a charging build built around this using a 2-hander, high Str, and swift feet of the cheetah plus a few damage boosters.

Power of the King
Shape - charge booster, too bad you can't use it with horns of the herdbeast
Bind - get bigger, one of several methods.
Overall - begs to be combined with horns of the herdbeast, but alas, they take the same slot. Still useful for a brute charger that focuses on one or two big attacks.

Raging at the Moon
Shape - Diehard
Bind- rage!
Overall - nice for taking early on, holds its power for the bruiser.

Crown of the Dragon
Shape - Limited wild empathy. Other binds get you wild empathy, nothing special here.
Bind - get a power known.
Overall - if the animal type and power change WITH your active energy then this is an awesome bind just for the variability. If not, why specify it matching your active energy, as that can change every round? If it only works when your active energy matches the one you had when you bound it...blech.

Crown of the Jesters Fool
Bind - speak with animals. Combine with wild empathy and your high CHA to be Dr Doolittle. Neat, not that useful most days/places.
Bind - Astral Construct! Get a go-to power that you can build a character around. Efficient PP-wise as well, important for your small pool. Saves you the feat to take it with expanded knowledge (though that's a fair option if you want one of the other crown binds). Double-duration with focus, great early on, focus elsewhere once it lasts for a whole fight. Or take the feat later when you don't need the focus boost. Expend stinks, seems more useful if it worked the other way. Why would I take damage for my expendable summons?

Frog of kings
As I said before, this one stinks. Just useless. 1/hr save or shaken 1 round? MAYBE if it was CHA mod rounds or flow invested rounds. Shaken for 1/flow invested, useable at will? Might be worth a look then.

Elven Crown
Shape - bonus vs sleep. Yeah, unless you're facing a witch that's a low-percentage case after level 4.
Bind - still have to rest 8 hrs. Do elves even work like this in PF? At least toss in some weapon profs or a bonus against SR/PR or something to make it worth writing down. Overall- going to forget it exists, right along with froggie above.

Furious Glare of the Bestial Orc
Shape - boosts intimidate. Could be useful with your good CHA if you grab some feats to make intimidate useful. Not an expert there.
Bind - ferocity is worse than diehard, which you can get from raging at the moon. Take that instead if you aren't trying to be scary.

Madness of the Derro
Shape - bonus to dungeoneering. Eh, is what it is.
Bind - I'm not fully equipped to deal with the implications of this ability. Overall - Seems abusably dippable for the bind, single class lets you totally dump WIS too. Should specifying if it qualifies for feats as well (sounds like it). Seems like one of those lynchpins to weird builds.

Crown Summary - Madness and Jester's Fool are ones you build characters around. Brutes have some good starting choices as do scouts. A few weird situational ones (I do appreciate the aquatic support) and a couple stinkers.

You will want to clarify focusing on designs when you have more than one focus available (via psicrystal or other method). Can you focus on two designs simultaneously? Can you have more than one focus on a single design, allowing you to expend and focus at the same time?

Read through the class and the latest Designs doc and here's some feedback...

The biggest problem I see with the Flowshapers is the complete and utter dedication to charisma. The original meldshapers could shape con score - 10 soulmelds which translated to a 19 con score to shape 9 soulmelds @ 20. With the Flowshaper limited to charisma mod number of shapes, a 30 charisma is required to shape all 10. No other class needs a score this high to access to class abilities. Even pure casters/manifesters only need a 19 in their casting stat to cast a spell. On a class that has a partial melee framework this is a killer. I'd suggest switching it to charisma score - 10 or 1/2 charisma score rounded down if there's some legal reason preventing the score - 10 formula.

On the Psionic end of things, the PP allotment seems a bit low. You've used the Aegis PP allotment which works well for Flowshapers that just augment flow points. The problem comes in when you throw powers in the mix. Aegis is limited to 4th level powers. If you give 9th level powers to the Flowshaper those power points are going to be burned through quickly on a manifesting focused Flowshaper. Between Spatial Surge using a standard action and the level based limit there really isn't much room for abuse. I'd suggest giving them a 3/4 manifester PP allotment or maybe baking in bonus PP or a free cast.

Most of the Designs seem good but there are a few that stick out.

Voice of the Prancing Goat: The Bind/focus effect needs work. At 9th level you can Inspire Courage as a level 1 bard for Cha rounds/day? If you go full charisma focus, that’s about 8 rounds, barely enough for 1 encounter. Rebind might take the sting off but you don't get that till 10th. A standard action to start and a move to maintain reduces you to 1 attack/rnd or 1 move. That’s rough for a +1 buff and it loses its power pretty quick. I'd suggest giving Inspire Courage equal to a Bard of your shaper level but limit the rounds/day to shaper level + Cha, similar to the Advice ability of Sensei Monk (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core-classes/monk/archetypes/paizo---monk-archetypes/sensei) archetype.

Raging at the Moon:
I see this power has gone through a few revisions already but there's one thing that's been overlooked. It uses the 3.5 rage (rage x/day for 3 +con rnds) not the PF rage (rage 4+con +2/lvl rnds/day.) The Raging Surge Wilder (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/psionics-unleashed/classes/wilder) wording might fit better (3+cha +1 per level rnd/day.) You might even snag the barbarian clause for the odd Flowshaper/ barbarian multiclass.

The +1 per flow needs some tweaking. 1st through 3rd it's not even a +1 bump unless you have an odd Str/Con. It's useless to even str/con scores till 4th. Honestly, I really don't see anyone using it till 13th when you get the standard rage bump. -2ac and fatigue for +1atk/dmg just aren’t worth the trouble. Even then you're getting basic rage 2 levels after a barbarian gets Greater Rage. I'd suggest something like Divine Anger from the Anger Inquisition (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/base-classes/inquisitor/archetypes/paizo---inquisitor-archetypes/inquisitions/anger-inquisition). Maybe move it to a Hand slot and drop the -3 level? Not sure how that fits into your scheme of things.

I strongly agree about the ability scores. Stats are almost impossible for a melee focused flowshaper if he wants to get a decent number of designs. CHA score - 10 sounds good.

I've noticed the PP issue as well. Its fine if you call one astral construct per fight but makes energy ray and similar blasts niche. And astral construct can last all or most of the fight, a ray is one and done, both will use your level in PP. Sky-high CHA helps, as does the half-giant bind, but blasting is not a viable strategy to rely on.

On the other hand, you could take no power-granting designs and have little use for PP (sans elan or other PP sinks). This one is trickier.

Other suggestions sound good as well. I hadn't looked at the actual durations when I've given feedback. Too bad BelGareth seems to have gotten busy.

Breath of the dragon - Paralyzed is far better a rider than the others, baring immunity. I understand the conditions are based on the dragon's abilities, but if I am forcing a save I MUCH rather have it be for paralyzed instead of...anything. Maybe have different durations based on the severity of the condition (sickened, shaken, etc last X or 1d4+X rounds, staggered, entangled, lat 1d4, paralyzed lasts 1).

Also suffers form the selection and matching issue (do you choose when binding? DO you have to keep your active energy matching, etc).

Brief Review of Hands:

Hands of the Choker
Shape - grappling bonus. You aren't a grappler by nature, but might be able to pull it off stacking a few designs. Still won't be able to get around escape tricks the way a tetori can.
Bind - shuct down verbal casting, nice is you can get your hands on them
Overall - If you can make a grappling flowshaper, this is the starting point. Haven't tried it to see if it can stack up.

Hands of the Arachnid
Shape - save bonus vs entangling? Yeah, not shaping it unless I'm binding it.
Bind - web is a nice ability, basing it on CON is less nice. Still, its versatile, plenty of creative uses possible.

Touch of the Mindsink
Shape - touch attack to do INT damage? If I'm using this I'm going to hope they DON"T have PP, shutting them down with INT damage is much more dangerous. "you instead deal 1 point of intelligence damage equal to 1 + 1 flow point invested." Text needs fixing. Drops animal in one hit. Maybe should be given a non-stacking clause or minimum 1 intelligence left clause. Right now it compares to psychic drain, a level 4 psywar/egoist power, a bit much for something available at will at level 1.
Bind - temp HP on top of the damage. Nice, not as problematic as the shape ability.
Overall - too powerful right now, tweaks would make it a solid choice, especially for a back-up ability on a finesse or caster build. Brutes aren't going to bother since they'll need hands for other things.

Claws of the Slumbering giant
Shape - basic natural attacks, can't use weapons.
Bind - rend
Overall - basic NA shape, solid choice for a brute, bit of extra damage on a bind. Will there be binds that give extra arms like girallion arms?

Fists of the Iron Warrior
Shape - Bonus to melee damage
Bind - increasing strength to damage
Overall - awesome for STR-based weapon users, casters don't need it and natural attacker's probably are grabbing the shape bonus elsewhere since they can't use the bind bonus and it conflicts with the claws of the slumbering giant.

Caress of the Grove Guardian
Shape - ranged legerdemain, basically. Interesting, not really a combat ability in most cases.
Bind - entangling debris. Requires concentration. Meh.
Overall - kind of neat, but you probably aren't shaping it often with the other options.

Pixie Mitts
Shape - CMB bonus. Not sure if you can get enough of these to be worth the feat investment to make them work
Bind - bonus to dexterity. Sweet for dex users.
Overall - if you need dex its a good one to keep around. Natural weapons are finesse-able...hmm.

Hands of the Hive
Shape - natural armor + energy resistance, very nice
Bind - energy ray. Powers known are good, but you don't have the PP to rely on blasts. This bind precludes the PP regen bind above, removing the chance to over come this weakness.

Eight options total. Minsink is broken, slumber giant and iron warrior each have firm niches, hive and arachnid both have a place as well. All grappling comments pending a full analysis of a complete build.

ed - more on mindsink: I think the ability has a place as a mid-level bind, either granting the power at around level 7 or as-is a bit higher. Its just to powerful for something at-will at level 1.

Gah, I know, many of the +to saves and CMD are going to be reworded to be more specific, as in against/for grapple checks....but its hard to come up with original content that is free at first level....

Frog of Kings (Crown): Why would I ever shape this? If you know you have swimming up ahead, there are better choices. No qualifying for feats, and this will most likely be swapped or modified to adapt to the Flowshaper being wis central.

REally? I think no sleep is awesome, but maybe adding a weapon prof would be a good idea.

Furious Glare of the Bestial Orc: (Crown) Raging at the moon gets you diehard just for shaping it, which is better than ferocity. Only good if you want to max intimidate.
stack for excellent never dying ability!

Hands of the Hive: (Hands) natural armor certainly beats the ac vs AOO's another design gives. Energy ray with a damage boost...solid choice.
I like this one also

Immovable Bastion of the Clouds: (feet) combat maneuver what? Focus text needs fixing. I like the size increase, nicely mirror the fey size reducer.

its going to be trip, for now its your CMD.

IE is the equation pp=1*flow*level, =1+(1*flow*level), or =(1+flow)*level?

fixed this to 1 + 1 flow point, so boosted it a little.

Speed of the Xeph: (feet) limited uses of increased speed...if my feet are open I probably just bind cheetah to get the flat +20 and put the flow elsewhere. Might be worth it at levels where you have more flow points than good places to use them but when is that?

This is an untyped bonus to speed.

Arms of the Deepdwarves: (arms) more powers are always good. Expansion is good for melee...might prefer the always-on size from bastion, depends on the situation.

I like expansion too!

Arms of the Angry Ogre: (Arms) Damage, fine. Reach, nice. Should stack with feats and size increases too, so I see possibilities for a lockdown build. Any designs in the pipes to boost tripping? Bruisers have to make painful choices on the arms/hands slots.

YEs there should be a tripper, if not now, in the future.
I'm thinking about changing some of the damage types to allow stacking. (will have to wait until they are all written)

Fangs of the Walking Serpent: (Throat) How often do you save against poison? Weird sort of bite attack, no strength requirement so caster-types can use it...but why would they? No strength bonus to damage and uses a natural attack slot, so there are better choices for brutes. Meh.

Depends on the campaign, druids are immune to poison, it has its moments.

No limit to the shapechange, all binds are effective while shaped, so yes, NA's too. and yes it counts against the NA limit.

Strength of the Hill Giant: (Waist) Nice, but does the insight damage bonus to PA stack with insight bonuses to melee damage? Should specify that the expending focus only benefits one attack, though the furious focus clarification implies it.

Yes, I'll add that, otherwise it would be pointless.

Indeed, I worried this was too powerful

Thief of the Night: (brow) nice, but seems plain after the last one. Probably rather get blindsense or blindsight from other binds, but it has uses, especially if you can generate darkness reliably. See invisible as a focus is nice though, keeps it competitive, though as before brow is popular.

YEs, brow is a good turning point in power for the flowshaper, and provides many good options.

Focus does not benefit those allies without PP per the text: "If your allies do not have power points, they gain no benefit. "

I might change it a little, but I still think Regen 5/fire is still pretty powerful, higher levels, fire is not used as its so easy to ignore.

*note*I am slowly working through the other replies.

This is been changed to k.psionics (and yes spellcraft = psicraft)

Headband of the Sandspider
Shape - bonus to initiative. We all know the value of going first.
Bind - Tremorsense. Worse than blindsense with worse range.
Overall - only take this over Crown of the Nightking if you want to initiative bonus, but sensing the ambush may be better than an initiative bonus. I count it as inferior. Maybe swap the ranges?

Ranges swapped, good catch.

One of the main feats will be the split chakra. Good. To. Go

A lot of the time, the shape power will be underpowered, or maybe even a lesser version of another shape power. Thats the point and the side affect of shaping it for the bind power.

To keep it in the fight? *shrugs* kinda like a temporary Ediolon.

Frog of kings
As I said before, this one stinks. Just useless. 1/hr save or shaken 1 round? MAYBE if it was CHA mod rounds or flow invested rounds. Shaken for 1/flow invested, useable at will? Might be worth a look then.

Going to rewrite this one.

"By binding this design, you gain the ability to croak like a boggard terrifying your foes. A number of times per day equal to 3 + your charisma modifier, you may as a standard action croak, forcing all creatures within 10 ft. + 10 ft. / flow point to make a will save or be shaken for 1 round."

As noted in the above post, will amend this one.

Does the OP not have the master sheets linked?

Anyway, stack's brief thoughts on Feet:

Swift feet of the Cheetah:
Shape - acrobatics bonus
Bind - Shockingly enough, a scaling speed bonus
Focus - mini-pounce. I've pleaded the case elsewhere to have this scale up to full pounce, or close to it, so will not retread that ground here. Still useful as is, especially if you focus on big attacks (two-handers, enlarged, etc)
Overall - solid, strongest on a two-handed weapon charger

Fins of the Aquatic hunter: More aquatic love!
Shape - swim check bonus. If you are shaping it you probably want this. If you aren't swimming...then you picked the wrong design. Obviously.
Bind - swim speed, though only land/2. Still, if you need it its there.
Focus - Pounce! Only in the water.
Overall - are you expecting to fight in the water today? If yes, its awesome. Seems to work as intended.

Legs of the Clay man:
Shape - bonus to saves verses entangling spells and powers...so web, entangle, and entangling ectoplasm? I know there are more, but its a pretty limited bonus. Not shaping it for that.
Bind - physical acceleration as a power known. Basically a self-only haste.. Doesn't mention what level power it is for you since it varies on the lists it appears on.
Overall - great if you don't have anyone to cast haste, waste of time if you do.

Alacrity of the Quicksilver Guardian:
Shape - bonus to reflex saves. Aren't most entangling effects reflex saves? Hmm, clay man ain't looking so hot.
Bind: DR, 15' reach, and the ability to squeeze through anything? Great melee boost and some utility, though very limited uses/day
Overall - unlimited usage would be OP for the level. CHa mods/day...seems tight, but it is a swift activation. Should specify the action to return to normal (free?)

Feet of the Dragon:
Shape - acrobatics bonus. Makes sense for feet
Bind - ignore difficult terrain based on your chosen dragon
Focus - endure elements, nice to see something unique here instead of the standard aura. Not exciting, but is you are in a game that environmental rules come up its a nice option to have
Expend - swap a skill check for a save? Nice. Need to combo it with a source of evasion to laugh off fireballs
Overall - some nice utility, may not be an everyday bind unless you grab evasion

Hooves of the Seelie Court:
Shape - woodland stride plus your allies get it for free. Campaign dependent, but at least a bit stronger than the one the dragon gives you since it is less versatile
Bind - trackless step. If the DM wants the enemy to find you, they will, making this a niche ability, though giving it to the whole party helps some (one member having it is...extremely situational at best)
Overall - baring guerrilla tactics in a big forest, this one is getting forgotten

Stature of the Hunched Giant:
Shape - Bonus PP! Needs clarification for how it reacts to flow points getting moved around
Bind - Stomp as a power known, nice for melee or as a backup
Overall - If you have any powers known this will be a daily bind. Its 2 PP at level 1, 120 PP at 20, which will make your powers SO much more useable. Stomp is nice too. You need a good reason not to shape this one (ie, you are going aquatic or don't plan on taking any power granting designs that day and don't have expanded knowledge)

Speed of the Xeph: Its all about speed. Compare to the cheetah. This lets you avoid AOOs, cheetah gives two attacks on charge. The former is good for caster types...but they are taking hunched giant. Cheetah favors brutes, who are less likely to want the extra PP (sometimes. Honestly, I think I would almost always want them)

Feet Overall - Hunched Giant stands tall as the most general purpose design. Others have niche uses, but day-to-day, 90% of the time I expect giant to be the foot shape, even before you get to bind it (the bind is definitely optional) and before you get the CHA to have a full set of designs. At level 6, when you get spacial surge, EVERYONE will want the PP.
