Does Elan's shirt have sleeves?

I figure sleeveless, because that makes him look more like Locke Cole (http://images3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20120226184010/finalfantasy/ru/images/a/a0/FF6LockeSprites.png).

Yes, there are short sleeves, so he is not impeded by them when sword fighting. And Haley (in my mind's eye) does not have pants. Rather the outfit is cut much like Xena's.

Considering the context of the strip where he got those clothes, I'd say they're supposed to be exactly the same as Locke Cole's. (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0388.html)

Probably. Nale's updated outfit has him (well, had him now) in an A-shirt, and since the twins' outfits usually mirror each other it seems entirely probable that he has either short sleeves or no sleeves.

IIRC, the only outfits that have sleeves in OOTS-verse are armor, so it;s hard to tell. Still, I think it looks cooler as a vest than a shirt, so that's how I see it.

There is a clear difference between artwork and in-game sprites, and Elan's outfit seems to be based on the latter (just look at the wig and headband he was wearing back when he changed outfits). And the sprites are shown to have no sleeves.

Furthermore, the artwork shows sleeves on the vest, and we know for a fact Elan's vest is sleeveless (as per how it's drawn when he takes it off).
