Do the recent events of this comic imply that Tarquin is now eligible to collect the bounty he placed on Nale's head?

Just a bit of silliness, but it does occur to me...

Well, 10 grand is pretty nice. Should be enough to pay for some nice funeral for Nale, with cremation.

Tarquin can pay himself the full 35,000. He isn't going to need the 15 grand for resurrection.

No need for the cremation. Just offer the Psion "anything goes for five minutes to make sure he doesn't get a resurrection." She was already ready to kill him.

Heh, Psions doing psion-y stuff.

Heck, they could just rewrite his memory; all the true rezzes (if they existed) won't save you if you think you're a 5-year old girl named Princess Sunshine for the rest of your days.

The real question is what does a man who rules a sizeable chunk of the world, with significant non-monetary resources and a flair for the theatric do with all that money?

It's a tax loophole, obviously. He pays himself a bounty that he put out in order to count it as a deductible.

Won't Kilkil object? He is lawful neutral after all.
