Recently, I've learned of the Sable Company Marines. A ranger archetype that gives you a Hippogriff for a companion. This is awesome. Long story short, I'm asking for some build help. I'm thinking of going switch hitter, peppering arrows at things on the ground and lancing anything in the sky. Though I could specialize in one or the other if it isn't possible to combine the 2.
20 Point buy, Human, starting at one and probably going up to level 10(if I don't die first)
STR 16 DEX 14 CON 14 INT 10 WIS 14 CHA 10 (No going below a 10)
H:Mounted Combat
1:Precise Shot
R1:Rapid Shot
3:Mounted Archery
5: Boon Companion
R2:Manyshot
7:Spirited Charge
9: Power Attack
R3: Pinpoint Targeting(just for how cool it is)
Will mostly be archering until level 5 when I'll periodically lance down from the skies. Nice thing about mounted combat: You can take a move action(draw lance), have your mount charge, then attack, counting as a charge(I think that's how it works). We're doing Wrath of the Righteous and I'm splitting favored enemy between demons and devils.
