My DM left me an item in the last encounter, I know what it does but didn't get the name of it. It is a cloak that when worn gives -1 con, but provides bonuses to death effects, linked to necromancy.

Any ideas what it could be??

I'm fairly sure that no official items give ability score penalties in non-even denominations (besides poison of course).

Sounds like a homebrew item. You would do best to give it to a party member with an odd-numbered con score, so they can enjoy the benefits without having any drawbacks.
