I just came back from the NecronimiCon in Rhode Island. At the convention they were playing a new RPG called Reality A which I wasn't able to play due to time constraints.

I just wanted to know if anyone has played it and has any thoughts on it? It seemed kind of out there in terms of plot, and I didn't get to see the mechanics of it.

Whew. That was tricky.

Found the core rulebook (http://www.amazon.com/Reality-A-Rulebook-Herbie-Hicks/dp/1491239867), mainly by cross-referencing the author's name. Thank goodness it was the author who was running the game.

Digging a little deeper, I found the Kickstarter (http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/180378791/reality-a-games-core-rulebook/) that had previously been launched in an attempt to publish the game.

Not sure what to make of it. There's scant information on how the system works.

Yeah. They were rather vague about it also at the table just stating that it is very open ended.

To be frank, that's never a good sign. The way I see it, if they're unable to encapsulate the game in a way that they can explain quickly and effectively, it's probably not a very strong game to begin with.
