This is something I notice occasionally, that I didn't think much about but realize that it's probably a problem. Sometimes, there will be a link in a post that is unusually difficult to click on. I mention the two examples below.

This one, (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showpost.php?p=15899862&postcount=16) from NES: best and worst in Gaming (Other)
This one, (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showpost.php?p=15844370&postcount=12) from Dice Equivalance in Roleplaying Games

I'm sure there are others. What happens with me is that when I try to click on the link, it moves up one line. Trying to click on in there moves it back down a line. Windows 7, happening with both IE10 and Firefox 22.0

I've found out what's causing it: If you start the URL tag on one line but put the text/closing tag on the next, you end up with this result. I'll put an example below.

Giant in the Playground (http://www.giantitp.com/)
I'm not sure if people were familiar with this, so I thought I'd mention it.

Worked just fine for me. If it matters, I'm on IE8 on Windows XP SP2.

I was able to click all of those links just fine. Windows Vista, Firefox 23.0.1.

Maybe the problem is some kind of malware on your PC? Did you try restarting your browsers and clearing your Internet cache?

I concur that this indeed happens with IE10.

Edit: but does not happen with Firefox 19.0.2
