[3.5] Magitech-esque Prestige Class

I'm looking for some suggestions for prestige class(es) to fit into a rather odd slot. They'll be pseudo-gestalted with my character, and completely ignoring prereqs for entry.

The character in question is using a mech suit; primary weapons are a battle fist and a variety of alchemical grenades. I'm pretty open to any suggestion, and homebrew (as long as it's well done) is also on the table.

Suggestions for PrCs to fit the character?

You can check out the Techsmith from Faiths and Pantheons. It gives you proficiency with firearms. The poor BA makes it a little difficult to do the sort of Gish-esque role it has, but I like it.

Well, for magitech type classes, you'll probably wanna look at Artificer, Maester (Cadv), Effigy Master (CArc), Renegade Mastermaker (MoE). Can't really think of any others off the top of my head.

Just use the Warforged race. Maybe some bonus racial feats to tech out your 'mech'.
