So while browsing spells for a random reason, I found the 8th level spell Temporal Stasis. This reminded me of a manga I read once where the villain suspended his body in temporal stasis, let a spirit use it for a body while his astral projection served as a face and could still cast spells. Now I don't think astral projections work the same way in D&D, but would this kind of thing be possible in D&D 3.5? As in putting your own body in stasis and letting a spirit borrow your body.
