Spellrazor (RoS144) has an interesting interaction with smiting spell. Seems to let me blast twice at melee range. Not the gold standard for wizarding, but it seems fun. I'm building a whisper gnome around this with the intention of using invisibility and wraith strike to assassinate even in-combat fools.
