The Great Gate of Restov is a massive barbican fortress at the city’s eastern entrance. It is the first sight that many traders arriving from the east see of Avistani civilization, and often the sight that remains most solidly in their minds after they leave.
You came from the west, and you never left out that gate. You'd come far enough east, you thought. A rolling stone gathers no moss. Instead of embarking on a journey to nowhere along the Golden Road, you decided to turn back.
So here you are again on the South Rostland Road, this time heading west out of Restov. You seem to be travelling with a troupe of Varisian players and some guards. But the question was, where to go from here?
