[Wukei]

Mhina nods, trying to remember the other night.

[Lykan]

Lykan smiles and kisses her, and they dissipear.

[Lykan]

Lykan and Mhina appear in the guest room. Lykan slips into the bed, smiling at Mhina

[Wukei]

Mhina kisses him. Thank you for finding him.

[Lykan]

Lykan smiles

If it makes you happy, I'm happy to do it.

[Wukei]

She smiles sadly. But I miss Antony...I wish I knew where he was...

[Lykan]

Lykan looks up at the ceiling

Demetrius said that he'd already gone back, right?

[Wukei]

She nods. But he's all alone...the other two are here...

[Lykan]

Lykan sighs

I wonder why Demetrius hasn't gone to get him...

[Wukei]

She shrugs. I'd like to see him again. Fallon bugs me for some reason...but I like the other two. Maybe it's because she's got Deimos in her that she bothers me... She winces at the name.

[Lykan]

Lykan sighs

Phobos and Kydoimos as raw entities aren't any better... I knew them in life as reincarnations. Phobos is smart, not like Deimos... We need to be even more careful about him... And Kydoimos... Well, he's quite insane.

[Wukei]

She shakes her head. I didn't feel that from them. They both were very loving...

[Lykan]

Lykan nods

Well, if they are like that, why do you suspect that Fallon would be like Deimos?

[Wukei]

She shakes her head. I don't know what upsets me about her...it is best just to get some sleep for now, though...I am tired.

[Lykan]

Lykan smiles and kisses her again

Okay... Goodnight, Mhina...

[Wukei]

Mhina kisses him. Good night. I love you. She lays down beside him, closing her eyes, sighing.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye rolls in his sleep and drapes an arm over Wukei

[Wukei]

Wukei mumbles something in her sleep about her journal.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye wakes from his sleep and loks at Wukei sleeping. He smiles and rolls out of bed "Get some rest Wu..." He gets dressed, goes downstairs and exits the agency

[Wukei]

Wukei wakes and looks around. She stands and walks over to her desk. She picks up her hat and removes the hole from it, unfolding the hole and pulling out her jacket. She folds the hole back up and puts it in the hat. She then pulls on her jacket and places her hat on her head. She picks up the letter she found last night and walks down into the office.

Not seeing Hawkeye here, either, she sighs and sits at her desk, and unfolds the letter, reading it. She narrows her eyes, crumpling up the letter and tosses it into a trash can.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye walks back into the agency "Hi Wu, sleep well?"

[Wukei]

Wukei looks up and smiles at him, I feel like I could do with some more rest...but yes, I slept well. Where have you been?

[Hawkeye]

"Just to Trog's. I've been within these three, and one shattered, walls for days, and I felt like a bit of a change of scenery. I saw you sleeping and I thought you could use some more rest."

[Wukei]

Wukei smiles. I think it's funny...you ask me to stay with you and then you run off while I'm sleeping. She winks.

[Hawkeye]

"I'm sorry Wu...how can I make this up to you?"

[Wukei]

She shakes her head. It was just a joke. I'm afraid a sleeping me would have been boring company.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye gives a small grin "Aww, I was hoping that you suggest something..." he shrugs "Any customers?"

[Wukei]

She frowns and shakes her head. No...I just came down here.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye walks over to Wukei and sits on her desk. "So nothing for us to do?"

[Wukei]

Wukei shakes her head with a smile. 'Fraid not.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye smiles "Oh dear, what shall we do?" he pats a space on the desk next to him

[Wukei]

Wukei stands, glancing briefly toward the trash can she'd tossed the letter into, and then sits on the desk beside him.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye kicks his boots off and scoots round behind Wukei. He wraps his legs around her waist and massages her shoulders.

[Wukei]

Wukei closes her eyes. Mmmm...

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye smiles, leans forwards and kisses her cheek. He continues massaging.

[Wukei]

Wukei glances back at him. So how are you feeling today?

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye pauses for a second "Much better than yesterday...although if I felt the same or worse I'd be seriously worried"

[Wukei]

Wukei smiles. I'm glad.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye smiles and kisses Wukei's cheek again "How are you coping?"

[Wukei]

Wukei nods. I'm just fine...why shouldn't I be?

[Hawkeye]

"I was just asking..." after a brief pause "I wonder where the others are..."

[Wukei]

She shrugs. I don't know...haven't seen them. Of course, I just woke up before you came back...

[Hawkeye]

"And you're still tired?"

[Wukei]

She nods. Honestly, I haven't slept for a few days. I might have rested my eyes...but you know it's not the same.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye nods sadly "You really should get some rest, or I'll get someone to cast the sleep spell on you"

[Wukei]

Wukei shakes her head. I'm sorry...but I'd have to fight against you on that one...we have too many enemies for me to be put out of commission. I can't risk sleep. At least, not the magic-induced kind.

[Hawkeye]

"You will be put of commission, or close to it, if you don't sleep Wu. You can't survive without sleep..."

[Wukei]

Wukei stands, looking away. I...know. I'm just a mortal. But I can still fight. She looks back at him with her two-toned eyes. I'm trying to be strong...but it's hard...and I keep having doubts.

Every single enemy I have is a god. How am I supposed to compete with that? And yet...I'd rather die than have my powers back...

[Lykan]

Lykan shifts and looks down at Mhina

[Hawkeye]

"I can handle Loki...and I've got Hel and Merant in check" Hawkeye winces at something "Yes, I can definitely handle them. And no ones even remotely saying that you'll be made to have your powers back"

[Wukei]

Mhina clings to Lykan's arm like a little doll, biting her lower lip in her sleep.

Wukei shakes her head. I know you feel like you have them in check...but I'm not so sure... and I feel so useless right now. It's almost like I'm hiding in this building...

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye sighs and hugs Wukei tight "Hey, that's not the pirate queen I married Wu"

[Lykan]

Lykan sighs and kisses her

Mhina?

[Wukei]

Wukei shakes her head. I don't know if that pirate queen exists anymore. I mean...I can't even help you...and I promised that I would.

Mhina wakes and looks up at Lykan with a smile.

[Lykan]

Lykan smiles slightly

Evening... Were you dreaming?

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye winces at Wukei's words "Enough of the defeatism talk ok? Your helping me every day by just being here."

[Wukei]

Mhina shakes her head, I rarely dream...

Wukei shakes her head, watching the floor. I'm not going to be here forever...that's the problem with mortality.

[Hawkeye]

"I can remember talking to Fenric a while back, about the soul link. As I recall you'll live almost indefinitely because one of us is immortal, it's just it's the other way round now."

[Lykan]

Lykan sighs and kisses her again

Heh... Alright, then... You were making a funny face while you were sleeping.

[Wukei]

Wukei looks to him with a half-smile. All right...I'll try harder to think positive...but...it's not going to be easy.

Mhina raises an eyebrow at Lykan and sits up. Funny face?

[Lykan]

Lykan shrugs and imitates her prior expresion

[Hawkeye]

"Hey, me being here doesn't make you positive without help? I knew I had to try harder..."

[Wukei]

Mhina bites her lip again. I dunno...I don't know what that was about.

Wukei looks at Hawkeye with a sad expression. I'm sorry...

[Lykan]

Lykan smiles

It's nothing to worry about.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye hugs her again "I know it's hard, and I'm sorry for putting you through it, but be strong and you'll help both of us get through this mess"

[Wukei]

Mhina smiles, kissing Lykan.

Wukei bows her head, nodding half-heartedly.

[Lykan]

Lykan smiles and sits up, getting out of the bed and stretching. He looks back at Mhina

Whatcha wanna do today?

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye smiles, and picks Wukei up. He sits in a chair and puts her down on his lap

[Wukei]

Mhina looks thoughtful for a moment. I promised Demetrius we'd come back to visit him.

Wukei leans into Hawkeye, sighing.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye gives Wukei a long kiss "Now, what can I do to make you happy?"

[Lykan]

Lykan holds out a hand, smiling

Ready when you are.

[Wukei]

Wukei sighs. Make all the bad stuff not exist...

Mhina takes Lykan's hand.

[Lykan]

Lykan and Mhina dissipear

[Hawkeye]

"I meant now..."

[Wukei]

Wukei chuckles. Now is a good time to do it.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye kisses Wukei passionately "What if I try to make you forget about the bad stuff for now?"

[Wukei]

Wukei smiles, kissing him back. That could work...

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye kisses Wukei back like before, he purrs "Shall we go?"

[Wukei]

Wukei smiles. Of course. She gets up out of his lap.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye smiles, takes Wukei's hand and leads her towards the stairs

[Wukei]

Wukei comes downstairs some time later, straightening her jacket. She reaches into the almost empty trashcan and pulls out the crumpled letter, straightening it out enough to read it.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye rolls over in his bed
"So how long are we gonna have to sit and wait?"
"Not too long now, besides I think she's planning something..."
"Good, it's been too long before I killed someone..."
"Oooh, I love it when you talk violent..."

[Wukei]

Wukei looks up as the smokey smell fills her office and notices that the edge of the letter has been caught alight. It wouldn't be good if they got ahold of that...

Wukei looks down and away, Why should I trust you?

Loki grins, lifting her chin, Because...it was Hel and Merant that betrayed me. I can barely call you my daughter. And this is the same way those foxes captured me. It's guaranteed to work against lesser gods.

Wukei pulls away from him. You won't harm Hawkeye?

I'd give you my word...if you'd trust it.

Wukei sighs, looking down. More than the word of two liars, I suppose.

Loki grins, maliciously. Good.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye rolls over again
"Wait, I feel something..."
"What?"
"Damn it, it's too soon...but we have to act"
Hawkeye sits up, gets dressed and heads for the stairs

[Wukei]

Loki perks up. Well...it seems to be now or never... He reaches for Wukei and grabs her around the throat. But his hand almost seems to pass through. He turns into a mist, winking at her as she feels a huge surge of power flow through her, even unlike Hel's. The chaos of the power feels as though it's going to rip her into shreds right there, and Wukei drops to her knees in pain, holding herself steady with her hands clenched on the ground. She winces, her eyes shut tight.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye walks into the office and sees Wukei, his eyes widen "Wu, what's wrong?!" he runs to her side

[Wukei]

Wukei stands, shakily, her hair and eyes now a bright red. Though, she doesn't seem to notice. I'm...fine.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye backs away "No...you're not...judging from your eyes and hair..."

[Wukei]

Wukei takes her ponytail in her hand and pulls it around to the front so she can view it and sighs, closing her eyes. Hawkeye...please...I can explain.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye clenches his fists "Loki what have you done?!"

[Wukei]

Wukei growls. Give him back! Now!

[Hawkeye]

"Heh, so you hide more stuff from him? I don't think he wants that after this display"

[Wukei]

Wukei frowns, her red eyes narrowing, I've not been hiding anything from him. From you? Yes...but the truth of the matter was that I couldn't accomplish a thing by myself. Last night I found a note beside my returned hat. I already knew who it was from. This morning I read it.

She looks away, If this is the only way to get rid of you two, so be it. She turns back to him, scowling, I only want what's best for Hawkeye.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye grins "Have you not been listening to anything he said? If his precious Wukei is gone he won't be worth spit."

[Wukei]

Wukei frowns, Does it look like I'm gone? So I got a bad dye job... She feels her ears twitch and scowls, And apparently I'm cosplaying as an elf...it doesn't mean I've turned into Loki...

[Hawkeye]

"You've let him back in voluntarily, and that's never a good thing and I know that. And you know how much Hawkeye doesn't like Loki."

[Wukei]

Wukei scowls, And he likes you two oh so much better...? I think not. Release him, now...or I will make you do so.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye laughs "And where do you want us to run? Make us, if you can."

[Wukei]

Wukei attempts to tackle him, bringing her hand to his face in the fashion Loki had when he removed Wukei's powers. Her eyes glow a fierce red.

[Hawkeye]

"Oh, I don't think so, I've already fallen to that before" Hawkeye sidesteps out just before Wukei reaches him and attempts to trip her

[Wukei]

Wukei tumbles away from him nimbly. (If that's a word...)

She kneels and touches the floor and the room begins to rearrange itself. Suddenly the doors and windows weren't where they were before, and the desks begin to move toward Hawkeye.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye leaps onto a desk, gathers a ball of ice energy and throws it at Wukei

[Wukei]

Wukei warps the ball until it goes spinning back at Hawkeye. You know...all of this would cease immediately...simply give me my husband back.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye, not expecting this, gets hit full on by his own attack. He goes crashing to the floor and gets up, one eye purple the other a burning red "No, not after that..." Two swords appear in his hands, one black the other red

[Wukei]

Wukei frowns and claps her hands together. Two desks flip up and attempt to clap Hawkeye between them.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye puts both arms out, glowing red. He throws a fireball at each desk, incinerating them before reaching him "And you thought that kind of stuff would stop me?"

[Wukei]

Wukei sneers. Perhaps...perhaps not... She rushes him, her fists turning into steel as she goes. She swings out at him.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye smiles and takes the hit on his jaw, there's several sickening cracks and he gets knocked to the floor. He spits out several teeth, still smiling

[Wukei]

Wukei immediately jumps on top of him, intending to pin him.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye grins and rolls out the way to his feet. "I'm amazed you can hit your lover boys face...he must really love that..." He aims a kick at Wukei's side.

[Wukei]

Wukei stumbles back. It's not hard, Merant...you look just like him. She kicks at him as well, first a roundhouse to the face and then she lowers herself to the floor, spinning at his legs.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye dodges the roundhouse but gets taken down by the second. He immediately leaps back to his feet, bringing his swords into a defensive position

[Wukei]

Wukei stands, as well. She doesn't move otherwise. I'm surprised at Hel aiding you...not only that, but allowing you control, Merant. Especially after you stated that she was just a means to an end.

[Hawkeye]

"It was just a...marital dispute"
"Like fudge it was!"
"Anyway, if we don't work together we can't control him"
"So this is just an...agreeable compromise"
Hawkeye leaps at Wukei, slashing at each side with a sword

[Wukei]

Wukei winces as she's hit both times. It's not working... She falls to her knees, holding her side. Gods...I'm sorry, Hawkeye. I promised I'd get through this in one piece...

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye grins evily "Oh, I forgot to tell that we're letting Hawkeye feel all the pain you're going through. He's quite upset." he holds one sword ready to strike and uses the other to lift Wukei's chin "Any last requests?"

[Wukei]

She takes his arm tightly with one hand. Yes...please stop forgetting that I'm the damned god of trickery! She brings a knee up, slamming it into his groin and brings her other hand up to his face, though the first already is draining his godly powers.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye drops to his knees "Loki...you..." he falls over

[Wukei]

She finishes draining the powers from him and her eyes return to their two toned colour, though her hair and ears remain the same. She kneels beside Hawkeye and reaches into her jacket, pulling out a healing potion, and she offers it to him. I'm not Loki...not exactly...

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye turns his head to one side, not saying anything

[Wukei]

Wukei sighs, backing away, wincing. I promised...I wouldn't leave you...but I was worried that you'd leave me. I did what I had to to keep you with me. She takes off her jacket and her shirt and reaches into her desk (as the room's returned to normal, now that the chaos has died down) and pulls out some bandages.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye struggles to his feet "By allowing that shocker Loki back in? That's almost as bad as you leaving..." he turns going slowly to the door

[Wukei]

Wukei bows her head as she begins bandaging herself. I would rather allow one of those bastards to partially control me, then allow two of them to take you over, fully.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye stops at the door "Well you got what you wished." he pauses "Adieu" he exits the agency

[Wukei]

Wukei tenses as she hears Merant's voice and winces, doubling over in pain.

Oh yes, that's right...we put that awful divine curse on you that disables you from being healed... Loki grins from the other side of the room.

I've got to go after him, Wukei says, standing and tying off the bandages. She pulls on a light white shirt.

Oh, no you don't...you're staying right here.

Wukei growls, I am a divine agent. Not an avatar. That means I still have free will. Her eyes suddenly glow red as she states, Not much of it, with a grin. She shakes it off and walks toward the door.

Loki grabs her arm, Tell me...why must you still defy me? He left you. He doesn't understand the sacrifices you've made. He only cares about himself, and whines that things aren't going exactly the way he wants them to.

Wukei pulls away from him and sighs, Sometimes you can't understand why you love someone. She walks out of the office.

Loki leans against the wall and simmers. Indeed, he grumbles.

[Wukei]

(due to the first one already being a long post, and this one possibly being as well..I'm double posting..hah!)

Wukei walks in, carrying Hawkeye. Loki is about to say something but Wukei shoots him a glare like "don't even say a word." She carries Hawkeye upstairs and lays him carefully down in their bed. She kisses him gently. Please forgive me...I only did what I thought was best...

She slowly returns to her desk downstairs where she finds her jacket. She searches through a few of the many pockets before she finally finds her journal. She opens it and begins to write.

I've been curious since I saw you start that...what's in it? Loki asks from the other side of the room.
It's only ideas...how to get rid of Merant and Hel. Since Hel's gone...I only have half a problem left.

I don't know...wouldn't it be easier just to get rid of the whiny one? Demons are so much more flexible and entertaining. Wukei shoots him a glare and he throws his hands up in mock defense, Your choice in men isn't my concern...part of the deal...still...there's only so much he can do for you...

Wukei frowns, If I'd cared for the sensual interaction I wouldn't have chosen someone Lawful Good. I am in this relationship for the sensitive interaction.

Loki scowls in return, Why would you care about emotional compatibility rather than physical contact?

Not all of us can be the mothers of our brother's horse...

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye rolls out of bed and gets dressed. He sits on the edge of it and buries his head in his hands.

[Wukei]

Wukei's ear twitches and she looks up. Loki, apparently, was long gone. She looks up at the ceiling. I wonder how he is... She stands, wincing in pain. She holds her side for a moment before standing and walking to the closet where she exchanges shirts quickly so that Hawkeye doesn't notice the blood. She then walks upstairs.

Hawkeye, she asks quietly, peeking into the room.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye glances at the door where Wukei is, then away, looking at the floor

[Wukei]

Wukei sighs. Listen...I only did what I believe I had to do. It's not as bad as it seems...

[Hawkeye]

"Oh. Is that how it is? I thought that letting Loki take partial control of you was one of the worst things that could happen, but apparently I'm wrong. Like it seems that I've been wrong so many times in the last few days"

[Wukei]

Wukei steps closer to him. You're not wrong...I never said you were. I'm trying to help, Hawkeye...

[Hawkeye]

"I could have handled it...I was handling it...until you pulled this, now I don't know where I stand"

[Wukei]

Wukei sighs. It didn't feel like you were handling it at all. I made a decision I hated to make. But I did it to try to help you.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye lies down on the bed and curls up slightly "Well...it hasn't. Not one bit. In fact I feel a lot worse now."

[Wukei]

Wukei sighs, bowing her head. She leans against the desk, watching him silently.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye looks at Wukei "What, you thought it'd all be better from you making your "sacrifice"?"

[Wukei]

Wukei scowls at Merant. I suppose it doesn't matter...

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye sits up "I don't know what on earth you thought you were doing, but it played right into my hands. You've lost, my dear Wukei."

[Wukei]

Wukei frowns. Not yet, I haven't...

I still have the ability to make you a god. She glances to the doorway where a kid Loki runs by carrying a large present into the guest room, giggling.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye's face light's up "Oh do you? Please tell...that'd make a fine christmas present..."

[Wukei]

She looks back to him. Loki's in a good mood...and has agreed to make you a god, so that he can battle against you himself. But only if my requirements are met, Merant. I want you out of Hawkeye's body. And I want you to leave him alone.

[Hawkeye]

"I don't make deals with people who are holding all the cards, especially the god of trickery. I can't win if he gives me the powers, plain and simple."

[Wukei]

Wukei scowls. You definitely can't win as a simple demon. And he won't be in a good mood forever, Merant. Now will be your only chance to regain your godly powers.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye puts his hands behind his head "Loki, if you want to have it out with me, make some of your other godly buddies make me a god, otherwise it's no deal"

[Wukei]

Wukei sighs and runs a hand through her fiery hair, looking at the floor. A look of sudden realization comes over her face and she holds up a finger. Hold on...


Vidar!!!

The platinum blonde haired man appears, rubbing his ear. No need to be so loud...

Wukei looks to Merant. He owes me a favour...a big one. He'll do it.

What favour? Oh...damn...that one...

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye grins at Vidar "I remember you..."

[Wukei]

Vidar looks at him in return. Sorry...I don't keep up with rabble...you're just another demon...now then, I'm a very busy man...what is this about?

Wukei looks to Merant. She then quickly sketches out a contract in Infernal and offers it to him. Remove yourself from Hawkeye and swear to never touch him again...and I'll have Vidar grant you your wish.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye takes the contract, and raises an eyebrow at Vidar

[Wukei]

Vidar looks between the two. Uh...yea...whatever she says...I'll do it... He looks really confused.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye chuckles and signs the contract "There, it is done as long as I get what you promised"

[Wukei]

Wukei smirks. This contract is binding in more than one way, Merant...if you don't do what you've signed that you will do soon...it'll destroy you.

Vidar motions to Hawkeye, Chaotic evil beings first, please. I am Lawful Good. I'll keep my word. He reads over the contract and looks quite surprised then looks at Wukei. He sighs and looks back at Hawkeye. Out of the body, please...

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye shrugs then gradually begins to blur and seperate into two

[Merant]

"There, that good enough for you?"

[Wukei]

Vidar nods as Wukei places herself between Hawkeye and Merant. She checks to make sure he's okay.

Vidar steps over to Merant.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye looks sadly at Wukei, but otherwise seems fine

Merant looks at Vidar "Well?"

[Wukei]

Vidar nods and places a hand on Merant. Power flows through the demon.

Wukei sighs and looks away from Hawkeye, keeping an eye on Merant and Vidar.

[Merant]

Merant feels the power going into him, and he grins "Ah, that feels good." he looks at Wukei and Hawkeye "Another time perhaps, but not now..."

[Wukei]

Wukei scowls at Merant. Just get out...

[Merant]

Merant grimaces "Ah goddamn it, LG powers...I suppose I'll have to get used to them..." he grins "I suppose I'll cope somehow" he stands up "Thank you to you all, now adieu" he disappears in a cloud of purple smoke

[Wukei]

Vidar frowns. I hope that makes us even... He disappears in a shimmer of light.

Wukei sighs, sitting down in the chair at the desk.

[Hawkeye]

"...Wu, where did it all go wrong?"

[Wukei]

Wukei bows her head. I got rid of them, didn't I...

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye looks down "But we've let Merant out with go faster stripes...."

[Wukei]

Wukei shakes her head. It doesn't matter...he can't hurt you...

[Hawkeye]

"...but he can hurt you..."

[Wukei]

Wukei frowns at him, I didn't think that mattered anymore... She turns away, toward the door.

[Hawkeye]

"Wu...wait, please"

[Wukei]

Wukei stops, but doesn't turn to look at him.

[Hawkeye]

"I'm sorry...I don't know what to say except I'm sorry..."

[Wukei]

Wukei looks back at him. Why should you be sorry...I'm the one that's made matters worse... she says icily.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye sighs "Ok, if you feel like going because of what I said before...then go. I can't reverse what I said."

[Wukei]

Wukei frowns. What, you mean you're going to change it now?

"No, I can't change what I said, although it's not what I think...but if you want to walk out just on that then feel free."

[Wukei]

Wukei scowls. No...I promised I wouldn't leave...and I stand by my word... She mutters something in abyssmal that's even bad in that language.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye sighs and closes his eyes "If you're not happy here just say and I'll go"

[Wukei]

She shakes her head. No...I don't want you to leave...I just don't want you to be unhappy.

[Hawkeye]

"Wu, I don't want you to be unhappy...and you are..."

[Wukei]

Wukei shakes her head and smiles. No...you're free of those two. Nothing could make me happier...

[Hawkeye]

"You certainly didn't look happy a few minutes ago..."

[Wukei]

Wukei sighs. I didn't think you'd want to even speak to me...but I'm more than happy to sacrifice everything I have for you to have a normal life.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye shakes his head "But what about you? I don't want you throwing away everything you have"

[Wukei]

Wukei smiles. Ah...I didn't have that much to throw away. So I've got red hair and pointy ears now...look, I'm Gwen! She gets a suspcious (though playful) look. Think I can manipulate the weather now?

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye gives a faint smile "What weather did you have in mind?"

[Wukei]

Wukei shrugs, Anything but snow...I hate the cold season...

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye shrugs "Suppose we can try that tomorrow..." he shivers "It is getting colder by the day here..."

[Wukei]

Wukei smiles and moves toward the bed. You're right...I think it's safest to stay under the covers....

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye walks over to Wukei and gives her a long kiss "Just say it'll always be like this..."

[Wukei]

Wukei smiles. I'm not going to make any promises I can't keep...

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye sighs, he wraps his arms around Wukei and rests his head on her shoulder

[Wukei]

Wukei kisses him. But I will make a promise to try my damnedest to keep it this way.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye smiles and kisses Wukei back "That's all I need to hear Wu"

[Wukei]

Wukei smiles, pushing the red hair out of her face. Y'know...maybe I should shave this all off...it seemed to upset you quite a bit. She winks.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye runs a hand through Wukei's hair "No...it might be the wrong colour, but I like it just as it is"

[Wukei]

Wukei smiles, kissing him again. Good...because I don't look good bald. And believe me, I know what I'm talking about.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye hugs Wukei and hangs on to her loosely "I can imagine...." he nuzzles Wu's neck

[Wukei]

Wukei laughs. I bet El J doesn't even remember that bet...

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye rests his head on Wukei's shoulder again "What bet?" he starts to toy with her hair with one of his hands

[Wukei]

Wukei smiles. It was a long time ago...over twenty years ago. He was a cocky cabin boy. He said that he could raise the anchor by himself. I told him it was impossible. He continued to insist. So I said, 'fine...I bet that you can't. If you can't, we shave your head. If you do...I'll shave mine.' You should have seen the looks on the crewmen's faces. And yet...he was a lot stronger than I thought. I suppose...you should have seen the look on my face when my first mate came at me with the shears...

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye smiles "Glad I wasn't there, might have scared me overboard..." he kisses Wukei sleepily on the cheek "Bed now?"

[Wukei]

She nods, smiling. Had your bedtime story and you're ready for sleep, are you?

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye nods smiling, he kisses Wukei passionately

[Wukei]

Wukei returns the kiss. Loki closes the door without looking and runs down the hall with his new toy.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye rolls over in his sleep and puts an arm around Wukei, and pulls her close to him.

[Wukei]

Wukei wakes with a start and sees Hawkeye and smiles. She kisses him.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye opens his eyes and smiles "Hey you"

[Wukei]

She grins, Hey.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye runs a hand through Wukei's hair and sighs "Well we got through another crisis in mostly one piece..."

[Wukei]

Wukei smiles. I'll dye my hair if it'll make you feel better.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye grins "I think I can get used to a redhead, look at Alex with his rebellious long red mullet"

[Wukei]

Wukei frowns slightly. Yes...he looks just like Loki with it.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye shrugs, which is pretty hard considering he's lying down "At least he hasn't got Loki personality, as he's not out to wreck our lives when he feels like it"

[Wukei]

Wukei smiles. When I said I'll take care of everything, I meant it. He's agreed to back off. She grins slyly, He's got more entertaining prey, anyway.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye smiles "Merant...good ridance to either one that loses. At least he's off our backs for a while"

[Wukei]

Wukei smiles. They're both off your back for good.

[Hawkeye]

"But they're not off yours...and that makes it my problem as well"

[Wukei]

Wukei smiles and kisses him. Don't worry about it right now.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye smiles "I suppose that can wait for a while" he looks at Wukei "Wanna get up?"

[Wukei]

Wukei smiles. I suppose we should...if only for a little while.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye raises an eyebrow "Why's that?"

[Wukei]

Wukei shrugs. It sounded better in my head. She smiles.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye grins "Actually, on second thinking" he pulls Wukei in such a way that she's lying on top of him "Why don't we stay here until the 'morrow?"

[Wukei]

Wukei smiles, pushing herself up on her hands so she can look at him. Sounds good...or perhaps two days from now...who wants to go out on Christmas, anyway?

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye gives a sly grin "Sounds like a definite plan to me"

[Wukei]

*Player Wukei closes the curtains for the safety of everyone's sanity.*

[Kyrian]

((What sanity? I'm pretty sure mine was already gone))

[Wukei]

Wukei enters the agency from upstairs, holding a periapt in one hand as she examines it, curiously. Under the arm she's tucked a box of chocolates that she munches on with her free hand.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye moves silently downstairs behind Wukei and attempts to steal a chocolate without being noticed

[Wukei]

Wukei moves to set the things on her desk and notices Hawkeye. She smiles and kisses him. Hey there, cutie. She sets the items on her desk and then starts taking decorations down.

[Hawkeye]

"Hi babe, taking down the decorations already?"

[Wukei]

Wukei stops and glances over at him. Christmas is over?

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye shrugs "Just a shame to take the decorations down so soon after the effort you put in to put them up"

[Wukei]

Wukei smiles. I've got time now...I'm one of those people that'd keep it up all year. But people getcha for keeping it up a week later...

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye smiles faintly "And sometimes we've got the wrong sort of people following us around. Need a hand?"

[Wukei]

Wukei grins, Sure.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye closes his eyes and concentrates slightly, a semi-transparent hand appears by Wukei "There you go"

[Wukei]

Wukei rolls her eyes and continues working.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye grins "Oh come on, that was one of the oldest tricks in the book" the hand disappears "What do you want me to do?"

[Wukei]

She looks over at him, frowning slightly. You can sit down.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye sits down at his desk and raises an eyebrow at Wukei

[Wukei]

Wukei continues taking down decorations.

[Hawkeye]

"Come on Wu, it was just a joke"

Wukei frowns. Then you obviously didn't want to help. She takes ornaments off of the tree.

[Hawkeye]

"I want to help, but I just couldn't resist that. The will save DC was just too high"

[Wukei]

Wukei glances at him, clearly not amused. She continues working.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye sighs, he leans back and puts his feet up on his desk.

[Wukei]

Wukei starts taking down garlands and gets wrapped up in them. She seems to ignore it, however, as she takes down the lights.

[Hawkeye]

"Wu, is anything the matter? Besides me?"

[Wukei]

She shakes her head, trying to unwind herself from the garlands, not looking at him.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye gets up and tries to help Wukei if she lets him
