Wukei's Bounty Hunting Agency V

[Wukei]

Wukei sighs as the garland's removed and flops down into the nearest chair.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye sits on a desk and sighs "I know you're irritated at me Wu, so I'm sorry for pulling that stupid, silly joke"

[Wukei]

Wukei shakes her head. It's not you...

[Hawkeye]

"What is it then?"

[Wukei]

She shakes her head. I'd rather not talk about it right now.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye closes his eyes "Wu, I've had enough things hidden from me in the past few weeks...please don't do this again"

[Wukei]

Wukei shakes her head and her eyes glow for a moment before returning to normal again. She tenses as she seems to fight for a minute and then passes out from the effort.

(Meh...changed my plans on what actually was gonna happen...but they're taking me to my favourite place for lunch ^.^)

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye leaps off his desk and runs over to Wukei "Wu, what have you done..." He shakes his head, picks her up and carries her upstairs

After much time he leaves the agency

[Wukei]

Wukei wakes, her eyes glowing slightly in the dark room. She stands and heads downstairs, opening yet another present left for her.

(*put on first post*)

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye walks into the agency and then stops, looking at Wukei "Wu?"

[Wukei]

Wukei looks up, her eyes slightly red, but the purple and green seem to dominate. She smiles slightly, Hey...I was wondering where you wandered off to...

[Hawkeye]

"Just went to Trog's to think....and had a nice long walk after I teleported blindly out of there."

[Wukei]

Wukei smiles sadly. I'm sorry...

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye walks towards her "Don't be Wu...we'll get through it somehow, we always do"

[Wukei]

Wukei bows her head. You're right...but I should have consulted you, and I didn't.

[Hawkeye]

"Hey, even the best of us make some bad calls, we just make do with what we've got."

[Wukei]

Wukei sighs. She kisses him. Thanks for trying to make me feel better. I know you can't be feeling that great, yourself...

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye smiles sadly and nods "I know that..."

[Wukei]

Wukei smiles and kisses him again. Thanks...

[Hawkeye]

"No problem Wu, just be strong for me and that's all that's needed."

[Wukei]

She nods. I'll try.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye smiles "Good" he puts his arms loosely around Wukei's neck "Now, anything important going on in this place?"

[Wukei]

She shakes her head. There never is...

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye smiles, kisses Wukei and then sits down at his desk. He looks through a few pieces of paper on his desk.

[Wukei]

Wukei starts taking down decorations again.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye looks up again "Do you want some help with that?"

[Wukei]

Wukei smiles at him. If you'd like.

[Hawkeye]

"Alrighty" Hawkeye folds up the papers that he was reading and puts them into his pocket "What do you want me to do?"

[Wukei]

She motions to the tree. You can find a place to toss that...

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye nods, and smiles slightly "Pack it away until next year?"

[Wukei]

She nods. That sounds good.

[Hawkeye]

"I'll find space in the storage room then..." Hawkeye picks up the tree and enters the storage room, trying to find a suitable space for the tree

[Wukei]

Wukei pulls out a box and starts putting away lights. She then heads out the door to take down lights outside.

[Merant]

Merant appears in the office in a cloud of white smoke. He turns to the door leading to the storage room and it shuts and locks magically. He sits down in Hawkeye's chair and puts his feet up on the desk.

[Wukei]

Wukei walks back in, carrying piles of lights. She flops them down into the box and looks up. She frowns. I was wondering when we'd see you again...

[Merant]

"Charming, and it's very nice to see you again my dear Wukei. I bet you must have been laughing your little socks off when I accepted some of the powers of a LG god."

[Wukei]

She smiles, It did make me chuckle a bit. She sets the box down, keeping her eyes on him.

[Merant]

Merant narrows his eyes "I bet it did. And now onto other matters, the contract I was eager to sign only prevented me from harming that pitiful fool, didn't mention anyone else, did it?"

[Wukei]

She smiles, though something seems dangerous behind the smile, You've caught me.

[Merant]

Merant grins "Let's put these new powers to the test..." he cracks his knuckles and kicks himself away from the desk, standing up.

[Wukei]

Wukei reaches for her blunderbuss only to realize that she hasn't been wearing her weapons for the last few days. She dashes for the closet.

[Merant]

Merant gathers a ball of...what looks like holy energy. He scowls and throws it at Wukei.

[Wukei]

Wukei tumbles to the floor and springs to her feet, grabbing the handle of the closet and swinging it open.

[Merant]

Merant scowls to himself, under his breath "Smegging lawful powers, think evil Merant" He gathers another ball of energy, this time looking like firey in nature "That's better..." he throws this new ball of energy at Wukei

[Wukei]

Wukei gets hit from behind fully, but turns to face him, now holding her blunderbuss. She doesn't cringe in pain. A necklace with a strange stone peeks out from her jacket. She aims and fires at Merant with the blunderbuss.

[Merant]

Merant grins and holds out a hand. A translucent wall appears and the shot reflects off it "Looks like ranged attacks won't work...try for another angle." A white sword appears in one of Merants hands, and a black sword appears in the other.

[Wukei]

Wukei drops the blunderbuss and draws her cutlass. She stays back, watching him closely.

[Merant]

Merant grins and leaps quickly in to attack, slashing at Wukei's chest with the holy sword and head with the unholy one

[Wukei]

Wukei backs up, stabbing straight forward, the two swords glancing off of her. I guess it's good that I'm chaotic neutral...

[Merant]

The cutlass catches Merant in the chest, he winces and backs up "This isn't working...change tactic again..." The two swords change colour, the holy one changing to an icy white, the unholy one changing to a firey red.

[Wukei]

Wukei stabs forward again, drawing a dirk with her other hand.

[Merant]

Merant parries the cutlass with the fire sword, and slashes at Wukei's chest with the icy sword

[Wukei]

Wukei blocks it with her dirk. She steps back and slices downward with the cutlass.

[Merant]

Merant parries the attack with one of his swords. He then feints with the other, teleporting a few feet to Wukei's side and slashing at her back with the icy sword, keeping the other for defence

[Wukei]

Wukei stumbles forward, blood dripping from the wound. She turns to face him, both weapons on the defensive, her eyes showing her weakening.

[Merant]

Merant grins, he presses his advantage stabbing fowards with the ice sword and slashing at Wukei's head with the fire sword.

[Wukei]

Wukei blocks both attacks with her weapons. Come on, Hawkeye...find a way out here...

[Merant]

Merant presses on, slashing downwards at Wukei's shoulder with the fire sword and across at her chest with the ice sword.

There's a rattling at the door as it's tried to be opened, then a series of thumps on it. From behind the door, "Wu? Why's the door locked?"

[Kyrian]

Kyrian walks into the agency, and realizes what's going on. He draws Renegade and Ebony.

((I swear, I didn't know there was a fight until just now))

[Wukei]

Wukei backs away from Merant as she's struck twice again. Kyrian...he's a god now...

[Kyrian]

I've caught that much. Nice hair?

Both Renegade and Ebony glow as Kyrian slams them together. He raises the gunblade and fires a shot at Merant.

[Merant]

Merant teleports behind Wukei out of the way of the shot "Kyrian, what a surprise. I was just trying to have a nice civilised duel with my wife when you barged in here." He strikes out at Wukei's back with the ice sword

From behind the door again, "What the hell is going on out there?"

[Wukei]

Wukei turns as he teleports and is struck in the arm. She brings her sword up and strikes at him. She ignores Hawkeye, not wanting to tell him that her plans had backfired so quickly.

[Kyrian]

Your buddy, Merant's here. Would you like to help?

Kyrian growls and tries to turn the metal of Merant's aside, and away from Wukei.

[Merant]

Merant sidesteps, trying to keep Wukei between him and Kyrian. He slashes downwards at Wukei's shoulder with the ice sword, keeping the other for defence.

A piece of a wall turns into ash, and Hawkeye steps through his eyes glowing purple

[Wukei]

Wukei steps away from Merant after being struck again. Her sword seems heavy in her grasp.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian growls and reaches an arm out. Pointing at Merant's swords, he tries to control the metal and pull either sword from his hand.

[Merant]

Merant smiles at Kyrian "Not on the weapons of a God brother." he slashes out with both swords at Wukei, the fire one at her head and the ice one at her chest.

Hawkeye gathers a ball of ice, and sends it at Merant

[Wukei]

Wukei steps back, her eyes glazing over as he catches the chain of the necklace, cutting it off. She falls to her knees, paralyzed by pain.

[Kyrian]

As soon as Wukei falls to her knees, Kyrian rushes Merant, swinging the gunblade.

[Merant]

Merant makes ready to slice down at Wukei...then gets hit by the ice ball that Hawkeye sent across. He gets sent back several feet, putting him out the range of Kyrians attack, and remains on his feet. He gathers a ball of fire and one of ice, he sends the ball of fire at Kyrian and the ball of ice at Wukei.

Hawkeye approaches Merant, he sends another ball of ice and a sword appears in his hand

[Kyrian]

Kyrian lets the gunblade absorb the fire and rushes again, swinging at Merant's chest.

[Wukei]

Wukei is struck and thrown back by the ball of ice.

[Merant]

Merant blocks Kyrians attack with both of his swords, then gets hit by the ice blast sending him into the wall.

Hawkeye leaps in front of Kyrian to attack Merant, slicing down and catching Merants shoulder with his sword. Merant winces, and readies both swords for defense

[Kyrian]

Kyrian tosses a ball of ice at Merant and takes a step back.

[Wukei]

Wukei struggles to get to her feet, gasping at the movement from the pain.

[Merant]

Merant sidesteps out of the way of Kyrians ice ball, and parries Hawkeye's attack with his ice sword "Hey Hawkeye, I think Wukei is gonna be in need of some serious healing pretty soon" Merant throws a ball of dark firey energy at Wukei

[Kyrian]

Kyrian leaps in front of the dark fiery ball and takes the hit, falling to the floor for a moment.

[Wukei]

Wukei grimaces as Kyrian takes the hit. She continues to try to stand.

[Merant]

Merant growls as he's not allowed to attack Hawkeye, and rolls towards Wukei, avoiding Kyrian, and lunges forwards with his ice sword. Hawkeye's slash, which would have been at Merant's head, misses. Hawkeye then throws a ball of ice at Merants back.

[Wukei]

Wukei gasps as she's run through with the sword.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian jumps up and aims at Merant, pulling the trigger twice.

[Merant]

Merant gets caught by both bullets and the ice ball, and gets sent flying across the room onto his back. He glares at Kyrian "You should have been taken away by the stereotype police long ago brother." he looks around at the situation and scowls "Time to regroup I think...adieu" he throws both his swords at Wukei, then disappears in a cloud of white smoke just before Hawkeye's downward slash would hit him

[Kyrian]

Kyrian jumps over Wukei, taking one sword hit, and kicking the other aside.

[Wukei]

Wukei holds the wound where she was run through, her coat practically red from the blood.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye's looks across at Wukei and his eyes widen "Wu!" he runs first over to his desk, yanks out several items and then goes across to Wu's side, trying to judge what the most serious injury is

[Wukei]

Wukei smiles up at him. Slow...poke... She coughs, brushing away the bit of blood from her lips as best she can.

[Hawkeye]

"Oh Wu, why did you have to get into a fight with him..." Hawkeye opens a plastic bag and puts some medical gloves on, he then opens another bag with some kit for stitching wounds

[Wukei]

Wukei continues to smile. Not like...I could avoid it...

[Kyrian]

Kyrian checks his own wounds, and heals them. Picking up both of Merant's swords, he heads for the door.

[Hawkeye]

"You could have always called for help Wu..." Hawkeye looks at Wukei's wounds "I don't know where to start...where does it hurt most Wu?"

Merants swords vanish from Kyrians hands

[Wukei]

She smiles, All over...but I think it's..best to get the one..bleeding from both ends...

[Kyrian]

Should've broken 'em...

Kyrian leaves.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye glances quickly round and sees Kyrian leaving, he growls "Thanks for not giving a damn Kyrian" He turns round to Wukei again and sees the injury that Wukei mentioned. He winces and tries to stitch up both ends the best he can.

[Wukei]

Wukei grits her teeth, trying not to cry out in pain. She'd heard horror stories of others biting their tongues off. Though it might amuse Sneak that she wouldn't be able to speak anymore.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian steps outside and sighs, turning back and heading inside. He leans against a wall and watches Hawkeye.

[Hawkeye]

"I'm sorry Wu, but this is going to be the best course of action in the long run..." Hawkeye bandages up the wound he was working on, then starts stitching the gash on her chest

[Wukei]

Wukei tenses, clenching her hands.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye bandages the wound, and passes on some of his strength through the bond. He moves up and works on the wound on Wukei's shoulder

[Kyrian]

Need any help?

[Wukei]

Wukei feels her dirk with her good hand and reaches over. She picks it up and bites down on the hilt of that.

[Hawkeye]

"I think you're a little too late Kyrian" Hawkeye says grimly. He finishes bandaging up the wound on Wukei's shoulder. He strokes her hair "I think that's the worst of it done...is there anywhere that I've missed?"

[Wukei]

She takes the dirk from her mouth and shakes her head, wiping some of the blood from her face. I think...the rest are just scratches.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye nods sadly "You're going to have several new scars Wu..." he wets a towel with water and tries to cleans up the blood "I think you need a lot of bed rest now..."

[Wukei]

She nods, not fighting him.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye smiles sadly and kisses her cheek, they vanish reappearing in the bedroom. He puts Wukei down on the bed, gets a blanket and puts it on top of her. He kisses her again, and then lies down besides her holding her hand "Go to sleep Wu, I'll be here to protect you whatever"

[Kyrian]

Kyrian sighs, once again having no purpose. He leaves.

[Wukei]

Wukei clings to Hawkeye weakly, closing her eyes.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye sighs and kisses Wukei's cheek "I'll be here...I promise..." he strokes her hair for a moment and tries to get some light sleep

[Wukei]

Wukei wakes and winces, clinging to Hawkeye's arm.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye wakes from his light sleep and turns to Wukei, smiling sadly "Hi babe..."

[Wukei]

She smiles at him. Hey....how are you?

[Hawkeye]

"Interesting question...I'm fine physically but I'm worried sick about you...how are you feeling?"

[Wukei]

She shifts uneasily. I hurt. A lot. But I'll be fine.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye passes on quite a bit of strength through the bond "Does that feel any better?"

[Wukei]

She smiles. I don't think anything could make me feel better. But it's a little better.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye looks playfully hurt "What, me being here doesn't make you feel better?"

[Wukei]

Wukei chuckles, then winces. There's a difference between emotional and physical.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye smiles, and puts his arm that isn't being clung to loosely around Wukei "Just you remember that I'm here for you always"

[Wukei]

Wukei smiles at him, then frowns slightly. Where'd the powers come from, yesterday?

[Hawkeye]

"My ones?"

[Wukei]

She nods. Yes, your ones.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye sighs and strokes Wukei's hair gently "I've always had them...I didn't realize I had until quite recently. And it's much easier to use when I'm in a certain mood" he frowns "I thought I had already told you this...but I could be mistaken"

[Wukei]

She frowns and shakes her head. You've already had so many powers...but I was pretty sure you'd been rid of all of them when I got rid of Merant and Hel.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye chuckles slightly "I have had a lot recently...but the most powerful ones were forced upon me. As to the powers I showed last night...why do you think Merant was so interested in this body and soul? On his own he has little power to what he could have by being here. Although not now..."

[Wukei]

Wukei lowers her gaze. Loki will face him eventually. Even gods can die. And there's no way a lesser god can defeat a greater one.

[Hawkeye]

"I'll even give Loki my blessings on that one...after what Merant's done." Hawkeye kisses her and holds her as close to him as possible "What is it with us making enemies with Gods?"

[Wukei]

Wukei smiles, As far as I know...we only have one enemy now. And he wasn't always a god.

Unfortunately, by the binding of the contract, I cannot ask Vidar to change that. And Vidar will not change it on his own. Lawful good means he'll leave Merant as a god, seeing as I asked him to.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye smiles faintly and kisses her again "Anything I can do to make you feel better?"

[Wukei]

Wukei tries to sit up and hisses at the pain. What happened to that salve we got at Inari's?

[Hawkeye]

"Whoa Wu, just lie back down ok? As to the salve...I don't think we took any back here. They've probably still got some at the temple."

[Wukei]

Wukei shakes her head. I don't want to lay down...and they gave me a bottle of the stuff...

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye nods "So it's probably downstairs somewhere...do you want to get up?"

[Wukei]

She nods. I'm not the kind of person to sit in bed forever. She tries sitting up again and yelps. Then again...

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye sits up "If you want, use me as support" he holds out a hand to Wukei

[Wukei]

Wukei tries to lift her other arm, but is unable, so she holds out her good hand to him and pulls herself up, leaning on him, cringing. I'm going to kill Merant...

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye puts an arm around her, he closes his eyes "Not if I can get at him first..."

[Wukei]

Wukei frowns. Don't try to go after him. It's one thing if you're on the defensive, but if you're on the offensive then that contract will mean nothing, and he can attack you at will.

(You know...I really should write up what the contract says, for fun.)

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye clenches his fists "I don't care. I want to kill that shocking excuse for a demon"

[Wukei]

Wukei places a hand to his cheek. Believe me, I know...but I don't want you hurt...and I've fixed it where you can't be. Please don't give him the ability to attack you.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye shakes his head "He has hurt me by hurting you"

[Wukei]

Wukei smiles tiredly. What would hurt me most is if I lost you...so just stay out of his way. He may injure me, but I don't die easily.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye shakes his head again "If Kyrian hadn't shown up last night he probably would have killed you..."

[Wukei]

Wukei smiles slyly. Nah...I have a secret weapon.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye sighs "Lets not talk about this anymore...it's getting me depressed" he looks at Wukei "What do you want to do now?"

[Wukei]

Wukei shifts uncomfortably. I don't suppose there's much I can do...

[Hawkeye]

"Well if this rooms boring you we can try to take a walk downstairs...or you could always lie back down if you're not feeling up to it"

[Wukei]

Wukei smiles. This room is never boring. But I would like to try to at least make it downstairs.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye smiles "Ok, lets try standing up first..."

[Wukei]

Wukei smiles at him. I don't think there's a chance in hell...but why not... She attempts to stand with little success.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye smiles sadly and tries to support Wukei in standing up

[Wukei]

Wukei manages to stand after a great deal of difficulty with his support and smiles. That wasn't so bad...

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye smiles back at Wukei and kisses her "I think going down stairs is going to be a lot more difficult though...."

[Wukei]

Wukei shrugs her one good arm. Gotta start somewhere.

[Hawkeye]

"Do you want to try then?"

[Wukei]

She nods, smiling.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye leads Wukei over to the stairs, getting ready to support her if needed

[Wukei]

Wukei leans heavily against the railing as she makes her way slowly down the stairs to the office.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye sticks close by Wukei, ready to catch her if she falls

[Wukei]

Wukei makes it to her desk and rests in her chair. Wow...who knew it could take so much work just to get downstairs...

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye picks up another chair and places it next to Wukei's chair. He sits down and puts his arm around her "Well you made it"

[Wukei]

Wukei frowns. Barely.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye, not knowing what to say now, gives Wukei a light squeeze

[Wukei]

Wukei pulls some papers out of her desk and starts writing.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye leans over to try to peek at what Wukei's writing

[Wukei]

She pulls the papers away. It's nothing...ignore it.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye raises an eyebrow at Wukei slightly and sits back in his chair.

[Wukei]

She shrugs. It's one of the few girly things I do.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye chuckles "It's hard to put you and girly things together Wu"

[Wukei]

She shrugs and winces. That's why I said 'one of the few.'

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye smiles sadly "I guess you're still feeling a little rough..."

[Wukei]

She nods. It's going to take a while...

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye kisses her "I'll be here all the way beautiful"

[Wukei]

Wukei smiles at him, returning the kiss.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye sighs and pulls Wukei gently towards him. He looks around the empty room "We should dock peoples wages if they don't turn up for work after the festive season has ended..."

[Wukei]

Wukei smiles. I was thinking about just firing them.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye chuckles "Then we would be left with almost no slaves- I mean employees"

[Wukei]

Wukei laughs, then cringes. Don't worry about it. They never did anything anyway.

[Kyrian]

((Hey...who saved who last night, oh yea, that's right.))

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye smiles "Well you'll have one slave to kick around..." he kisses Wukei's cheek and cuddles up with her

[Wukei]

Wukei smirks, trying to hold back the grimace from the pain.. Not that I can do much kicking right now.

[Hawkeye]

"You'll be up and kicking in no time beautiful" Hawkeye passes on a lot of strength through the bond

[Wukei]

Wukei smiles. I'm glad you think so.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye wraps both arms loosely around Wukei's chest and lays his head on her shoulder "...no matter how many times I say this it won't be near enough...I love you beautiful..."

[Wukei]

(Hopefully it wasn't the injured shoulder ^.~)

Wukei smiles. I love you, too.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye sighs and passes on even more strength to Wukei "Feeling any better?" he closes his eyes slightly

[Wukei]

Wukei frowns slightly. Don't overdo it.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye sighs and shifts so he's more comfortable "I won't...so do you feel any better?"

[Wukei]

She nods. A bit better. Thank you.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye smiles "That's good..."

[Wukei]

She kisses him. Thank you for everything.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye smiles, and a single tear forms in one of Hawkeye's eyes "Thanks...and the same to you Wu...my time with you is the happiest I've been in my entire life..."

[Wukei]

Wukei runs a hand over his cheek and kisses him. She holds him close, silently.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye kisses Wukei and he lays his head again on Wukei's shoulder. He closes his eyes and his breathing becomes rhythmic, suggesting sleep

[Kyrian]

Kyrian enters the agency and takes a seat at his desk, sighing and looking through various papers.

[Wukei]

Wukei glances up at Kyrian.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian doesn't notice Wukei's glance, and has a hard time concentrating on the paper's in front of him.

[Wukei]

Wukei's eyes glow red. When she speaks, it is not her voice. I can tell when one is using an avatar...I thought you'd agreed not to approach your 'sister' with an avatar?

[Kyrian]

Then maybe you should look again. The avatar's with Lillah, as much as it pains me.

[Wukei]

She sneers, That's cute...and very entertaining. Perhaps that is why she cannot get close to you. You won't go near to her. Too afraid that she'll shun you? It's not as close to home when they're shunning an avatar...

[Kyrian]

Kyrian ignores Wukei/Loki and stares at the papers.

[Wukei]

She pushes Hawkeye lightly off of her good shoulder and sneers at Kyrian. Look at how useless you are. You couldn't protect Wukei, you couldn't protect Lillah...and now you're just hiding in your little corner. Even your own 'brother' hates you. And yet you still hope to be accepted.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian continues to ignore the mindless talking and stares harder at the paper.

[Wukei]

Get out of my office, you useless piece of crap. We don't need pathetic godlings here.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian makes no move to get up.

[Wukei]

Loki appears, leaning against the wall across from Kyrian. Have you gone deaf, godling? I said get out of my office.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian pays no attention to Loki.

[Wukei]

Loki steps over and kicks the desk up on it's side.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian kicks the desk straight out the door, and sits back in his seat.

[Wukei]

Loki frowns. That's my property you ninny. Now get up and fight.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian sits back and ignores Loki.

[Wukei]

Loki frowns and runs a hand through his hair, looking more like a teenager than a father. Listen. You need to fight. Plain and simple. So get up and hit me! You know you want to!

[Kyrian]

Kyrian puts his hands behind his head, not even looking up at Loki.

[Wukei]

Loki scowls and kicks his chair out from under him.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian falls back, and plants both hands on the floor, using them to flip himself back onto his feet.

[Wukei]

Loki smirks, sure he has Kyrian's attention. Fight...or... He points at Wukei and she begins to gag.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian draws Renegade, and tosses it out the door. He stares at Loki.

[Wukei]

Loki shrugs, glancing at Wukei as she continues to gag. If she means so little to you...I'll remember to tell her, when she's dead.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian shrugs as Renegade shoots in through the door and towards Loki's heart, or at least where Loki's heart would be if he actually had one.

[Wukei]

Loki steps aside, laughing, letting the choke hold go on Wukei. Well...not like you can really save anyone. I mean...honestly...you just mess everything up.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian shrugs again as Renegade glows, and breaks apart, into two greatswords. Crusader embeds itself into the wall on Kyrian's right, while Revolter is embeded in the wall to his left.

[Wukei]

Loki rolls his eyes. A man that doesn't want to be helped can't be helped...I suppose there's no point in talking to you. You just came here to mope.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian takes Ebony and Ivory out of their holsters and tosses them both aside.

[Wukei]

Loki's eyes glow. Why did they ever befriend you...you're weak. You can't do a thing about your problems. Both of them act. Wukei gave up her very freedom to make him whole again.

What do you do? Whine bitterly.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian grins at Loki.

[Wukei]

He scowls at the lesser god. What are you grinning about, you wuss?

[Kyrian]

Kyrian laughs and shrugs.

[Wukei]

Loki shakes his head and disappears. Moron...

(And that's it for me tonight. Wukei appears to have fallen asleep, for anyone interested. Trances can sometimes do that to ya.)

[Kyrian]

Kyrian gathers his weapons, reforming Renegade as he sheathes them all. He steps outside, and gathers all of his personal supplies from his desk. Leaving the desk out in the street, Kyrian walks away.

[Wukei]

(That's very rude...what's your problem?)

[Kyrian]

Kyrian slowly trudges into the agency, and recovers his chair. Putting his chair back where it belongs, Kyrian sits in it and leans back. He puts his hands behind his head and tries to gather his thoughts, fighting hard against the tears that want to come.

As he realizes that neither Hawkeye nor Wukei are going to get online here until after he leaves, Kyrian begins to write two notes.

Kyrian leaves both notes on Wukei's desk. The first describes what took place last night, and explains why Kyrian's desk is outside. The second:


I'm through. I go through hoops to try to please both of you, but it's never enough. Even reading this I know that one of you is going to bitch something about me. "Oh, he's so self-centered" or "he's so childish." Well you know what? You both can go to hell, and for once in your damn lives, stay there. All I've tried doing is loving you both as the family that you've been to me. But it's never enough. I always get yelled at, for never being around when something big happens. And then I always get yelled at for just being around. I'm sick of how you two treat me. I give you both respect, and in return all I get is yelled at. I'm almost sorry I wasted my time, thinking I could find a family here.

I know the truth now of how you two feel about me. And it makes me wonder why I put up with all this shock for so long. Well, no more. I quit. There, you both managed to push me away finally.With sadness in his eyes he gently reaches out and moves some hair out of Wukei's face.

I've always loved you both as family....I just wish you two could have done the same....

He wipes a tear from his eye as he pulls the badge off his jacket, and sets it in Wukei's hands. With a sigh, Kyrian gets up and leaves.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye wakes up and looks around the office. He gets out the papers that he put in his pockets a coupe of days ago and begins reading them again.

[Wukei]

Wukei wakes and looks into her hands. She scowls, then notices the letters. She looks around and notices Kyrian's desk is missing. She puts the letters down without reading them and looks up at Hawkeye. Where's Kyrian's desk?

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye looks at where the desk was supposed to be "Dunno, perhaps it got wrecked in the fight and we didn't notice before now."

[Wukei]

Wukei frowns. No...I would have noticed...

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye shrugs "Oh well, Kyrian can find it when he shows up for work"

[Wukei]

Wukei grumbles and reads the first letter. She scowls darkly. Look out the front door.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye gets up and walks over to the door, looking out of it "Oh, there it is...how do you know it was out here?"

[Wukei]

She lifts the letter in the air in answer and then tosses it to the desk. It's probably warped from the snow... She reads the second letter. Hey...you might want to read this one...

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye walks back over to Wukei, and reads the second letter. He scowls at it when he's done reading.

[Wukei]

Wukei sits back in her chair. So...I'm taking bets how long it'll be before he comes back, crying that he didn't mean it.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye sits on Wukei's desk "Dunno would be my answer...perhaps he's really meant it this time after all the bluffs he's put on before. But I don't really care either way as he's left without a single warning"

[Wukei]

Wukei frowns. This isn't something you just write in a letter. If he thinks it is, good ridance.

[Hawkeye]

"Were not going to go chasing after him so the next move if any is down to him." he pauses for just a second "So how are the wounds feeling today?"

[Wukei]

Wukei shrugs slightly. I'm healing...

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye nods slightly sadly "Anything I can do to help?"

[Wukei]

She shakes her head. I'm okay.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye pulls up a chair besides her and sits down in it "I'm always here to help." he looks down and kicks something on the floor "I think those dressings could do with changing..."

[Wukei]

Wukei nods. Probably.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye nods "Ok" he walks over to his desk, opens a drawer and pulls out some bandages. He walks back over to Wukei "Let's see those wounds then..."
