If a Paladin who has the sword of the arcane order feat, 1 or more wizard levels, and has taken the spell mastery feat to be able to prepare his select wizard spells without a spellbook. Can he also prepare the selected spells from spell mastery in his paladin slots without the use of a spellbook?

The text of the feat (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/feats.htm#spellMasterySpecial):

Prerequisite

Wizard level 1st.
Benefit

Each time you take this feat, choose a number of spells equal to your Intelligence modifier that you already know. From that point on, you can prepare these spells without referring to a spellbook.
Normal

Without this feat, you must use a spellbook to prepare all your spells, except read magic.
It just says "You can prepare these spells...", not "you can prepare these spells as a wizard", or anything like that. It should work just fine with Sword of the Arcane Order.

In fact, I would probably rule that a paladin with SotAO could qualify for this feat even without the one-level wizard dip: The only reason that requirement is even there is because, as of when the feat was written, wizards were the only class that could use a spellbook. That's a call for your DM, though.
