Building a cool bard

Ok... i want to design a bard for AD&D 2nd edition, but not elan kind :)

Actually i would like to play the most flashy bard we all can think of (best kit, race, weapons...), all kits books etc available

Im open to multiclasing, Cleric/bard seems a good choice.

You shouldn't need to multiclass with a bard, I don't think... you're already a fighter/healer/wizard.

All right i like the cleric/bard thing... Also like the jongleur kit...

I also considered the adept kit (the one that give you spells at lvl 1) and a god of knowledge or wisdom... to become like a bardish indiana jones :P
