Important Current Events as of Mar 5, 2012:

AMEN has very recently had a revolution, putting Ilpholin in charge, with Magtok as her second in command. The OP is in the process of being updated, and may not be entirely accurate.

Ask in the OOC thread if you need any assistance.

A BRIEF HISTORY by the esteemed Lord Magtok
In the darkest pits of despair there lived a fearsome being, one made of pure malevolence, hatred, and madness. He had an equally dark and loathsome plan for our world, the formation of an organization to be known as Evil Incorporated, destined to spread his unhallowed name throughout the world, so that all might come to know and fear the one named Psyke_D.

Fortunately for the rest of us, there's already a webcomic called Evil Inc. When this was pointed out by yours truly, the members of this fledgling new organization went into a frenzy. What good could an evil organization be without a suitably original, stylish, and menacing name? All sorts of suggestions were produced, everything from Vilecom (painfully bland) to Fullbladder's Fabulous Funky Foursome (Totally incorrect, as there was at least six of us by then).

Finally, someone (and by someone I mean me) offered a suggestion even better than Evil Inc, the "Association of the Malicious, Evil, and Nefarious". Everyone immediately realized that this was by far the best name they'd ever heard of, and after a chorus of "AMEN, brother"s and nibbling on some pixies, the Association had officially begun.

Years went by after that. In-jokes were formed, members came and went, and dictators were ousted and replaced with new dictators more swiftly than Central America during the Cold War on steroids. It was a glorious time, full of wars with EVIL, The Town, France, and HALO. (All ending in AMEN victories, aside from the last one, which was more of a cease-fire stalemate thingy)

Lives were lost, promptly restored, and then lost again. Love blossomed between various Associates, dark feuds between others, and every manner of nonsense imaginable, but that chaotic energy, that "Burn it all and let the gods sort it out" attitude always came before anything else.

Sadly, these days were destined to end eventually. AMEN just couldn't keep up with HALO, GLoG, and the rest of the world, and xenophobically shut its doors upon the rest of the world. A Dark Age ensued, full of newbs posting inane nonsense and old members complaining about the newbs instead of trying to better their situation, until eventually, not even the newbs were posting anymore.

Then came hope. Most called him crazy (and they were right), others called him ridiculously optimistic, and some say he's a big smelly dragon who doesn't bathe anywhere near as much as he should (Or maybe only I say that), but everyone else called him Gordon, the new leader of AMEN. Realizing that this xenophobic age had to end, he led AMEN out of the darkness, and brought about a new age of darkness, gave us a world where AMEN is once again a serious threat. For that, we owe him our thanks. I'm still gonna stab him in the back the first chance I get, though.

Or well, we owed him our thanks. He's sorta dead now, I think. Me and Ilpholin recently usurped the hell out of him with an awesome arena deathmatch thing, and now his smelly corpse has been exiled and stuff. She's in charge and I'm second-in-command, because responsibility smells. Weee, change!

THE BUILDING
You don’t want to know. The greatest minds of our time have studied AMEN’s base, only to be driven MAD by the labyrinthine, ever shifting corridors and reality-defying chambers. The base itself is sentient, and doesn’t really take kindly to smartasses trying to map it. That being said, as long as you don’t try too hard to make sense of the base, it’s not difficult to find, say, an empty bunk, the common room, the can, the lab, et cetera. Of course, there’s much more to the base than that, but I can’t tell you about it. 1) Because it would crush your little mind, and 2) because I don’t wanna.

Security Room
Access here is limited by handprint scanner and numerical keypad. Incidentally, Ilpholin has also made it her primary room as well, getting a bed and some other things put in.

Front Lawn
Mister Squiggles planted various mechanical devices here, buried underground.

OOC NOTES & RULES
For the sake of variety, these rules will be listed in the form of Russian reversals. Wanna know why? Because I WAS BORED.

In Soviet Russia, AMEN base doesn’t destroy YOU!!
In Soviet Russia, godmodding aren’t allowed to YOU!!
In Soviet Russia, spam doesn’t post YOU!!
In Soviet Russia, t3h s3cks drop curtains on YOU!!

HOW TO JOIN
"One of the first things that are to change is a revamping of the membership process. No longer are they to be blood pacts. The forms will be standard and require a fair bit more than just a name."

"Furthermore, just signing them does not guarantee a place in AMEN. After that there will be a background check, followed by an interview with me. Then, if it feels like their goals and such line up with AMEN's, that's when they get in." It's a process designed to know your co-workers better!

"That said, old members will have to go through a similar process to retain their membership. A form filled out and an interview. However, unlike incoming members, acceptance is not contingent upon a decision, but rather simple completion. So former members are in no real jeopardy of losing their place here." So long as they actually do turn in the form and talk to Ilph. No more strangers and non-members loitering around. That's just outright silly in so many ways!

ABOUT HENCHMEN
NPC Henchmen for the most part can be godmodded, however, the named henchmen are reserved for ThePhantom to control.

Standard henchmen attack uniform.http://zecarioca.net/Imagens2010/AMEMSoldier.png by MethosH, from the Nexus webcomic.

NPC Henchmen
There are 148 npc henchman, each with a css color designation (+1 for the other Pink) such as DarkRed, LimeGreen, and Cyan. Pink is the only henchwoman and seems to be the supervisor over the rest, though she still ranks below the named henchmen. Nobody but Gordon really knows what made them take the job at AMEN, but it must have been good.

The following henchman have died in a more or less permanent way, leaving 125 henchmen remaining. RIP loyal soldiers.
Pink, Yellow, Mauve, Lime, Azure, Beige, Bisque, BlanchedAlmond, Cornsilk, FloralWhite, GhostWhite, HoneyDew, Ivory, LavenderBlush, LemonChiffon, LightCyan, LightGoldenRodYellow, LightYellow, Wheat, LemonChiffon, PaleGreen, PaleTurquoise, DarkSlateGray

Named Henchmen
Rogar: Head Henchman, manages the henchmen. Fights with electrostaff. Kicked out
Sweetums: Head Ogre Usher, most powerful fighter of henchmen. Makes the very nice fudge. Trainer
Pete: Henchman of Naval business. Insane, thinks he's a pirate, always talks like one. Kicked out
Mr E: Spymaster of henchmen. No telling what he looks like.

ABOUT MECHANO-PANTHERS by Mindfreak

Classic:
Mechano-Panthers patrol the halls of AMEN(And some important rooms, like the Main Room) and are basically godmoddable by anyone with a character in AMEN. However, I'd rather you not have them do anything past their programming, which is:
1) Subdue intruder with instant drying cement foam
2) If 1 is not possible, kill intruder with razor sharp metal claws and spiked tail
3) Bring body to torture room or to BioLab(if dead)

The cement foam dissolves from a solvent that the panthers also have.

Also, the panthers will listen to any AMEN member and will go after any people that come in that are not being accompanied by a current AMEN member. They're made of titanium as well, and are as strong and as fast as a normal panther. They will ignore orders from AMEN members if given a conflicting order from Ilpholin, and unknown to Ilpholin they will ignore an order from Ilpholin if given a conflicting one from Megan.

Any questions?
5w4mp:
Anyways, here you all go! 5w4mp P4n7h3r5!

So here's the story of these new Mechano-Panthers that Megan is making for the Gnoll Village. They'll go by the name of Mechano-Panther(5w4mp), or just 5w4mp Panthers, for short.
Anyways, here's the picture of a regular Mechano-Panther:
http://fc01.deviantart.net/fs51/i/2009/298/1/3/Robot_panther_by_wolfsouled.jpg
Now imagine that sexy beast about 66% bigger than a normal panther, and instead of delicious chrome on the metal, it's a camouflage perfect for swamps and such.
Now, instead of the usual liquid cement and solvent the Mechano-Panthers at AMEN have, these babies instead of a flamethrower right in their mouths, not to mention the usual razor-sharp claws and teeth and tail. Plus, a couple nets big enough to catch large humanoids and slow them down a bit. It'd take a while to cut through one with a pocket knife, is what I'm saying.
Also, they have another nasty surprise, their tails also double as sort of a taser. Except a taser that'll kill you with electricity. It's powerful enough that they could put it into a small body of water and electrocute the things within about 50 feet.
Also, they're completely waterproof, allowing them to swim in the water and sneak up on things, and they're a bit more agile than a real Panther.
They can also see in the dark, thanks to infer-red capabilities.
Anyways, that's about it for them. Other than saying that they'll do as the gnolls ask third, Ilpholin second, and Megan first.
Oh, and they won't attack AMEN members, or members of the Gnoll tribe.

Their basic tactics is to use the environment to their advantage, such as hiding in the foliage and pounce, or hiding underwater and delivering a nasty shock. Or just ripping things apart with their claws and flamethrower. Though if asked, they will attempt to capture things by reducing the shock of their tails, tasing the thing, and then netting it. They can also set traps, if asked. And are smart enough to plan ambushes

Searching the Base

Yes, the henchmen do avoid Mr. E's room. At first.
But the longer they go without turning something up, the more likely it is, they'll get over their fears and attempt to bust in.

Still, Mr. E has time to get back and turn off the device himself. Which might be well worth it, considering the number of AMENites using it in their and Harley's favor. If it's found out that you did this Mr. E, deep trouble, deep trouble. Quit while you're ahead!

*****

A few henchmen split off at request to go find Greg. They can look for the device along the way anyways.

*****

Durr. I forgot.
Ilpholin's room was the security room. So when Ivaz gets directions, she's returned to the place that Magtok blasted repeatedly already. That said, her closet does still have interesting toys Ivaz might want.

Beyond that, Ilpholin spent most of her time in Riverside near the end trying to make it a respectable place to live. There is nothing notable in here beyond the blasted computer equipment.

Cybil looks a bit confunded at the Burglar's reaction. "As long you're confident about it." She replies hesitantly. "You really ought to tell me more about this superhero stuff."

"Oh, uhm... There's an awkward pause. It's really hard to explain without sounding stupid, or like a freak. "Y'know, if you want, we could, uh, watch some superhero movies? It's, well, probably the best way to explain it." He offers, before remembering the bloodstained costume he's in. "After I, uh, go clean up, obviously."

"Yes, I'm not one of those vampires." Cybil replies in a amused tone. "Take a shower, I will do the same. Unless you want to go back to Riverside now? I'm not sure where you have your movies." Nor did she know a lot about "movies" in general.

He shrugs, chuckling at her joke. "Oh, uh, I got them here, but.." Why not? It's been a good day so far. "Well, if you want, we could go to, er, a movie theater, there's a new Spiderbat movie out. It'd be fun."

"Actually, uh, we could do that on the way back, uh, from seeing your boss?"

"Sounds like a good idea." Cybil replies, feign knowledge of what a movie theater was, presumably it was like one of those theaters in Malechenar... with movies. She had just heard superheroes where in comics. Never movies.

Master had told her to get in contact with more AMEN members and this must be pretty much what he had meant. "Master will be eager to see you." She smiles and makes a elegant bow before the Burglar before heading out to her room. She was actually really curious about this movie of his now...

Still grinning, the Cat Burglar tips his hat goodbye before heading off to his own room for a change of dress and a cold shower... Then maybe another one, to make really, really sure he isn't still wearing his own blood.

About fourty minutes later he returns to the Main Room, sitting down on the couch. His usual outfit is out, in need of a good run through the wash and some stitches, so instead he's wearing a plain white shirt and jeans. The mask was trickier to replace, but a purple bandana with eyeholes cut out makes for a Zorro-esque look.

Cybil comes into the room as the Burglar is waiting for her. She's wearing a black jacket with a brown t-shirt underneath along with a pair of black jeans and boots. Guess they have a similar taste in clothes, or are both just lazy when it comes to such things. :smalltongue:

She appears a bit confounded as she see him however. "Do supervillains always have to wear a mask?" The earth vampire asks curiously.

Zefir
2013-09-02, 05:00 PM
Teddy, deciding that Zefir is a serious opponent, doesn't waste any more time on banter.

"Finger of God."

A pulsating beam of power springs from Teddy's outstretched finger. This is one of the most powerful single-target spells in his incredibly extensive repertoire, able to completely erase its target from existence. On an unmitigated hit, Zefir will simply be gone. The beam moves at very high speed, so unless he already started dodging when Teddy's arm came up, he doesn't have much of a chance.

Well, Teddy is a very strange guy, throwing such high level spells around like others do with cantrips. Zefir can feel the aggressiv eneergy in the spell as Teddy channels it and his trained reactions take place. Instead of dodging his left arms wanders to his belt, taking of one of the flashbang, which proofed to be useless against the strange intelligent shield, and throws it right up. Luck, training and a bit of manipulation brings the bomb into the line of the spell. So the bomb is simply gone.

And right then Zefir goes for an attack. An attack, not even his shield should be able to block. He manipulates the are around Teddy's nose and mouth making the air diapear. In a blink Teddy may got problems to breath. Still this only is where Teddy stands if he moves away quickly Zefir won't be able to follow immediatly.

Or they both took ages trying to wash off all the blood, realized they were taking ages, threw on whatever clothes were closest and ran back to the main room before their hair could even fully dry.

Well, that's what he did anyway.

"Yeah, it's, uh, it's all about secret identities. Like, let's say, if Malechenar, they keep harassing me, er, if it gets too much to take, well, I can stop wearing the mask and just not be the Cat Burglar." He explains, a bit hurriedly, before pulling his smartphone out and handing it to her. "But here, er, you might want to see this."

The page open is to the Wall, specifically the wanted poster of him, and the surrounding discussion.

His magic works rather differently to most. A massive spell is the same as a tiny one, to him, because someone else has already done the work of casting it, and he's just bringing it into this reality.

As the air disappears, Teddy raises an eyebrow and throws a fireball before teleporting about three feet.

"Stand aside. I'm just here on a retrieval contract for NO."

Wherever Greg Is

Moff B hears the message and sends a handful of Henchies to go look for Greg.

"Listen, Wallsy, quit attacking our members! We can't defend the base if we're divided!" he says, facing the nearest Wall and addressing it as if it were a person standing there. "If you knock this off and actually act as a team player until the end of the emergency, I'll give you Moff A's corpse."

Getting through the walls not as much, mainly because there is so many black threads holding the walls and floor and ceiling together that it more like hitting a bouncy playpen with a child's feet.

Sounds very Strong to me. OR does that mean small spells are more exhausting then from normal people?

Zefir stops his action immediately after Teddy ported. He can't hold that to long. He rais his arm and then let it fall down in the cut a piece of wood style. The incoming fireball seems to meet an invisible edge which cut it into two halfs. Those will pass Zefir right and left hitting the wall somewhere behind him.
Zefir just shakes his head. His opponent is a powerful mage, but as it seems not a very bright light. He can't see any reason to 'Stand aside'. And now he only got more reasons to kill him.
Now Zefir goes offensive. He starts running to Teddy, but won't reach him this turn.

The Moff on watch for Watch sees the war zeppelin coming and sounds the alarm. "Invaders incoming by air! 2 o'clock high!"

But wait, didn't any alarm ability get destroyed when the Security Room was blasted? Indeed it did. Which is why Moff isn't sounding the alarm by any normal means. Instead, small portals just opened in all the primary rooms and corridors on the base, amplifying his message with lots of Yellow Road goodness.

"They should be noticing us right about...now."

[AMEN Base]

Hello, gentlemen.

Why don't we wreak some havoc.

That little telepathic mass-message gets sent at everyone in the AMEN base. It carries a psychic command to start going on a chaotic rampage heedless of the concept of 'friend or foe'. It's also not very strong, given that it is a mass-message and DC doesn't want to touch the crazy brains. Those with strong wills will likely be able to resist simply.

Those less so...well. They are likely to become liabilities right about now. (Requesting that someone specific play henchmen in response to this.) It also occurs to DC's player that considering the AMEN base just got blasted by a message amplified via a mind-bending realm of chaos, this could result in something entirely different from DC's intended result. Someone may very well suddenly think they're a dragon or something.

[Airspace]

"I'll activate the device, then break in however you wish. I was just going to blast the door down while they were reeling from the telepathic attack I just made." With that, DC will proceed to go...

...fly out of the airship. Real nice, DC. Don't even tell them that's what you just did. So now there's a psychic flying toward AMEN too. He doesn't appear to have that 'device' on him, but given the extradimensional storage involved, it's possible it deploys from it. Probable, even.

It is not yet activated as of this post.

The Moff, luckily, sent that warning, so now she could get a little prepared by a couple of her internal organs to produce and control electricity.

When DC finally "We're getting fished," she seethes. She doesn't like psychics. They think they can just go around, fishing whoever they want, doing whatever they want, whenever they want. In her opinion, there's a special spot in Oblivion reserved for all the psychics and their like.

Fortunately, as everybody knows, electricity is the best way to counter psychic attacks. (Or, at least, Harley thinks that everybody knows this.) Thus, to throw off the psychic control on her, she builds up the charge in her body, and draws her empty metal scabbard.

Harley assumes they're going to come flying through a window, or something, since that's the most dramatic way to enter a building.

Dam'bul is a Karkassolith, which grants him resistance from mental attacks.

Unfortunately, he's also a long-time companion of Nephrim, who uses mind control like it's going out of fashion. So he's resistant to the Yellow Road, but not to DC's mental command. He draws his sabre as four large vines rip through the back of his suit's jacket; using those and his ability to choose his direction of 'down' he clambers out the room and starts looking for somebody to messily kill.

A biplane is starting up as the succubus pilot responds to the warning. She doesn't spend as much time around Nephrim, so her resistance to mental attacks is intact. There's only the one, though; Pazuzu hasn't been able to replace the ones that were lost over Riverside yet.

Basewide

I'm not good at random chaotics wherein yellow road results in something randomly different, but I can say that a good third of the henchmen fall subject to failing their will saves for a combination of reasons. Of course, nobody notices for a moment. Until the henchmen that were grabbing weapons and preparing for war start stabbing and shooting each other. Then it's absolute chaos. But seeing as how they were all gathering to get ready to go out and follow orders, it's a largely self-contained mess of self-slaughter for the moment. Until mechano-panthers arrive to round things up anyways. Which doesn't happen yet.

Some mechano-panthers are gathering in the Main Room though, ready to fight or be instructed elsewhere.

Outside Base

The turrets and such out here, including AA weapons do start coming out of the walls and ground. Well some of them anyways. A good third seem to be malfunctioning. Probably cause someone smashed essential security equipment.

They'll fire at any hostile Watchtower targets in range.

The devices Mister Squiggles buried around AMEN that Alexandrian was concerned about being mines and such are actually just sensors. They are particularly designed to locate stealthed units and rapidly approaching craft. Not really applicable here even if the alarm system wasn't broken.

DC also remains out of conventional range for now. Perhaps they want to let AMEN bleed itself in there? Who knows. He doesn't seem affected by any glimpses he might've just gotten, either, probably because he's seen plenty of nasty things in his time or something.

First off he conjure up some force-fields to block laser cannon blasts coming for him and the airship. Won't last forever and they're not entirely likely to block everything, but that's what evasive maneuvers are for.

Secondly, the psychic does something that might be far more surprising to those in the AMEN base. A baseball-sized black orb hovers in front of him, held aloft by telekinesis, and something emerges from its extradimensional confines in a black blur.

The device now containing the orb resembles a gun, albeit a rather bulky one. This it has in common with DC's usual personal energy cannon type weapons. What is not normal is that it appears almost armored, thick plates covering portions of it, and it has what appear to be twin barrels: One large, and one smaller, more normal-looking one underneath.

As DC opens fire, a swirling multicolored field shimmers into existence in front of the larger barrel, projected by some insane magitech. It is, at first, unclear what it does.

But to those more sensitive to these things, it ought to become very clear what is going on: A magitech-powered electromagnetic field (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showpost.php?p=15876636&postcount=122) is generated by a device capable of cracking a planet in half when overloaded and combined advanced teleportation technology to project the hideously powerful field outward toward AMEN on multiple planes of existence. This helpfully bleeds off some of the power and makes it less likely to cause a giant EMP apocalypse or something.

Considering the nature of AMEN's Thing In The Walls, this may prove...painful.

Probing Roxanne's stalwart mental defenses won't cause DC to suffer any barrage of psychic counterattacks, but in the same vein, he likely won't be able to detect that his mass psychic broadcast was rejected by Roxanne's well-conditioned and equally well-disciplined mind. Her mental presence is simply stealthed. She cannot be detected through psychic scanning, and while I haven't read of any attempts at psychically scanning the base for lifeforms, I thought it noteworthy enough to briefly mention preemptively.

Likewise, the EMP blast doesn't totally wreck her powered armor, as it is both properly shielded with physical materials and was properly shielded by a dedicated shielding system. I write was because the suit's dedicated shielding systems are no longer functional as the deflection of the EMP drained all of the power allotted to the system and most of the backup power for the redundant systems, so the shielding unit is effectively disabled 'cause she isn't diverting any more power from weapons systems to power her shields (which were raised when Moff sounded the alarm)!

With a emphatic oath, "****!" Roxanne signals her artillery using her neural uplink to Hatter Inc to relentlessly shell the area surrounding the AMEN base straight into the gaping maw of oblivion.

"Commence operation Rain Down!"

It might be immediately clear as the sky above is all of a sudden cluttered with live explosive ordinance why this event was so aptly dubbed Rain Down. Missile after missile hurtles out of the heavens above. Whether it was a sweltering sunny day or a chilly moonless night when the aggressive crew from WATCH launched their assault, they will find the light of the sky nearly blotted out by the sheer number of dumb missiles (and other random explosive devices including but not limited to live grenades, half-built robots, overloaded power cores, mortars, rockets, and several enormous rocks and heavy slabs of metal that closely resemble unfinished tanks that aren't actually explosive but have been added to the mix because they could damage something) plummeting to the ground, goring and mutilating the landscape encircling AMEN as clouds of dry, thick dust billow up into the skies, notably reducing visibility of the base and breatheability of the air.

But those are no more than advantageous sideeffects of the strike.

DC and WATCH's airship might be out of range of the base's defenses, but they might be within the radius of the missile strike. The base's defenses might also be well-within the radius of the missile strike (or, at least, danger close), though I imagine that the sacrifice of the automated defense turrets isn't a major setback if the EMP's splash damage rendered them inoperable as well.

Where the heck did all of those missiles and other random objects come from (besides randomly teleporting out of the sky), you ask? Well, Hatter Inc was gearing up for its grand opening in Riverside prior to the WATCH battle and Roxanne was convinced that they'd need to hold the city hostage if AMENside was to persist for any length of time and was evidently preparing to do just that!

That said, the explosives being fielded here couldn't possibly hope to crack a planet in half with ungodly force, but Roxanne is betting that they may be more than sufficient to ground WATCH's airship and gently persuade WATCH that seeking cover might be a good idea and that gamboling about outside of the base is a very, very, very bad idea.

Of course, Roxanne doesn't have the supplies to keep this artillery strike up for very long by any definition of the word and has exhausted most of her resources in this attack in this post alone. Whether AMEN prevails or loses this battle, Roxanne and Kohan probably won't ever have the money to finance the construction of a research lab or manufacture vast quantities of missiles and robots and various war machines ever again.

Beyond that, all Roxanne can do is take cover behind a thick, sturdy-looking wall, spin up her minigun, and wait for WATCH to knock on the front door, ready and raring to engage whoever is discharging weaponry in the meeting room if they should be suicidal enough to stroll out into the main room to go toe to toe with the heavy weapons gal.

Dam'Bul responds oddly to the electromagnetic pulse, snapping back to reality and wiping his sabre on his jacket, which is then removed and thrown aside as he calmly takes another and puts it on. This might be because of his own ability to disrupt electronic devices that attempt to observe his natural form.

One of the (few) advantages of a biplane over other, more advanced forms of aircraft is the complete lack of electronics- the Pazuzite aeroplane is ready to fly despite the pulse that would have fried the navigation, ignition, steering, weaponry and so much more on a modern plane. It doesn't, though; there's too much random junk being flung into the air for the biplane to survive out there for long.

The extra-range lasers hit the Butler B. Butler's shields, causing a bright flash of white light as the energy is deflected by the defensive forcefields.

That, and the incoming missile barrage gently persuade KR that what she thought would be a safe range for the airship to be safely out of the conflict was not quite safe enough, so she flies it back a little more.

The point of this thing is just to have a nearby staging ground, after all, not bombard AMEN with its ten million billion lasers and flamethrowers, and a constant barrage of anti-air does so interfere with that.

[Airspace/Outside]

Well then.

Giant missile barrages and laser cannons and random minions? The 'minions', which I know pretty much nothing about, are probably going to get shredded themselves by that giant barrage of exploding. Probably the laser cannons too all things considered.

But that's just speculation. I have no control of this. What is not speculation is:

In response to seeing a ton of lasers aimed his way, and a ton of explosives about to rain down on his fragile mortal form, DC does just about the only thing he can.

First, he throws up a forcefield above him to block some of the explosions. This might have some extra effect as things that explode early might cause a chain reaction with the rain of explosives. He's not banking on this, though.

He dives down. He draws a particular void-black dagger. and propels it below him telekinetically, keeping it pointed at the ground blade-first. And then that standard reddish aura of his flares around him and it, a translucent red blade further extending from the weapon as he accelerates downward. Finally, he strikes the ground, the dirt and rock exploding around him and making a makeshift tunnel as it is blasted aside by psychokinetic shockwaves coming off the dagger.

DC does not emerge from the ground this round. He is taking cover down there. In the ground. This may make it exceedingly difficult to hit him with next to anything.

The EM weapon is also still active. This might make things more difficult.

So, he's blocking and evading via 'the ground'.

You are a cheap bastard, DC.

Minions in this case are more of random lesser monsters and some things from the Far Realms, You don't get as much power as an Elder Evil has and not have some people wanted to follow you.

And while the EMP is still active I'm guessing because it was described as a gun, then I'm guessing it's not hitting as much of the base with him driving down into the ground. The ground where D is also, so he can go down just fine but with parts of D being destroyed welll, expect cave ins, lava spilling out of tunnels and really load screaming in small area, like all the volume of a rock concert made by one being.

The lazor cannons with no way to get to DC are turning their focus to what they can hit, namely WATCH's airship. While the minons for the most part are getting hit by the general artillery being fired while some are still flying and the ones on the ground are trying to follow DC.

RE: AMEN fight.

I'd like to make a note at this point that I brought the airship along mostly to have a staging ground for WATCH members to strike from, and because it makes IC sense to have it there, even if it's just as decoration, not because I'm interested in having large-scale fights with lots of weapons flying around.

I think it really shuts out a lot of lower powered characters if this battle were to solely devolve into us throwing as many missiles and bombs and lasers at each other as possible, because there's only so many people who can handle an aeriel disruptor barrage or a missile massacre.

If someone like Earl wants to send his biplanes at it, I don't mind RPing a dogfight (as much as you can reasonably call aeriel combat involving a zepellin a 'dogfight') I'm not going to have the airship close in for a ground bombardment of any sort, so it's not likely to be in range for any more ground-based defenses.

She looks in, and sees fighting happening through the portal (and tentacles and lasers), and Stu flailing on the floor. "Hey, Stu, are you alright?" she calls out, completely entering the room despite all those lasers.

After a moment, Ivaz steps back inside and heads to the meeting room to see who all is here still.

DC doesn't spend very long underground. He does, however, keep moving through the likely hideously-unstable tunnel he's making to make him significantly closer to the base, much further from the worst of the rain of explosives. The rain of explosives that is hideously convenient for him, in a way.

Because when he rockets out of the ground, he telekinetically seizes a hideous amount of debris and shrapnel from the bombardment, creating what looks an awful lot like a smaller tornado. A tornado which promptly moves to start shredding minions and turrets with sheer quantity of high-speed makeshift projectiles, the red aura covering it being a clear indicator of what's going on.

This also means that DC has the EM gun pointed at the AMEN base again. This isn't going to be pleasant.

Before DC (or anyone else) can burst through the door of AMEN, they'll have to get through the single Moff standing in front of the door.

Roxanne continues to take cover behind a sturdy wall and wait for PC versus PC combat to begin! She also begins to jettison her heavy power armor. It doesn't have much power left, so she's going to have to roll in her light power armor that isn't as armored but gives her a sweet bonus to her speed and provides her with a cloaking ability. It also runs off of energy generated via the breakdown of molecules, so it isn't affected by electricity draining weaponry.

Greg's explosion happens just as Ivaz reaches the doorway. Based on how big it was, Ivaz is likely thrown back into the hall, hitting the opposite wall and sliding to the floor.

Her shirt and skirt are singed, and she has some smaller burns on her arms. Overall, she's in pretty good condition, though. When Greg opens fire, he's more likely to be shooting at the people still in the room, so Ivaz should be fine from that.

Groaning a little, Ivaz stands back up and looks into the room to see the thing in the walls attempting to stop Greg. She'll just go ahead and stay where she is for now. Yeah. That sounds good.

Harley gets blasted by Greg! It hurts, and she got knocked down.

She quickly runs a cost-benefit analysis of running through the portal; after all, those two she sent earlier to rescue-slash-capture Ilpholin still haven't made it back, and that's probably what caused the portal in the first place, and now it seems like some people of WATCHTOWER have already came through it just to shoot around while there's people outside attacking, as well.

So, finding it more effective to defend on the other side of the portal (and much more entertaining to me, as a player), Harley dives through the portal to WATCHTOWER just before Greg's Assault Rife begins firing around.

As she enters the portal, Harley slips on her spare red feathery mask.

Cutting through the portal for Wenomir is sort of like cutting through a giant spider web. It sticks and pulls with the sword, and will take a few strokes to make a clear space to go through. Then there's the question of how to get the ooky stuff off the sword. The whole time, Wenomir will have the sights and smells and sounds, as well as the mental assault, of the Yellow Road, to deal with.

Behind the portal, is the door to AMEN standing open, showing a corridor leading into the valcano. Well, why not? If it had been left closed, DC would have just blasted it open, and smushed anyone standing behind it. Instead of using the door for cover, Moff C is inside just beyond the door swinging zone. He has another portal in front of him acting as a chest high wall and is carrying his Weird Gun that looks as if it was oozed out of something rather than manufactured. He fires.

Moff C's weird gun shoots oil, under high pressure at Wenomir. More like pressure cleaner pressure than firehose pressure, but it's still a lot of oil coming out very quickly. What sort of oil isn't immediately obvious, but it smells horrible.

Front Corridor / Outside AMEN

Since Moff's chest is behind a portal (not the same one Wenomir destroyed), the bullets fired by Boris fly harmlessly into the Yellow Road.

The high pressure oil is partially degraded by the weird scalpel. Not completely, because the base quaking causes Moff's aim to wobble a bit, while presumably the scalpel is immune to earth based attacks. At any rate, some degradation happens, which google tells me breaks the oil into fatty acids and CO2.

The stench however... dear gods, it's enough to do damage all by itself! Anyone inhaling in the general vicinity may start choking and/or vomiting, even if they didn't get any of the oil on them.

Well, that's part one of the attack. Part two is when Moff hits a switch on the weird gun, turning it into a flame thrower. The Really Smelly Oil is highly flammable. And unfortunately for Wenomir (and possibly Cutter, Boris, D Lord's minions and/or DC as well, depending on how close they have gotten to the entrance), the fatty acids are flammable as well.

The front entrance is now engulfed in an inferno.

I did say most standard airships. Of course KR and DC did science to this one to improve it with guns on the balloon. The biplane will swoop down on the zeppelin, firing its machine guns at the balloon and trying to rupture as many of the hydrogen cells as it can. When the gun clicks over to flame and starts spewing out fiery death, Cutter and his perception of the world freezes, icy fear stabbing right into his heart. Fire.

Fire.

Most living things had a reasonable fear of such. An extremely reasonable fear that thrives on an instinctual level for the most part. But for Cutter, such a fear is greatly increased.

Fire, one of the very few things that can kill him all too easily.

Every nerve in his body tells him to flee, to scamper into the shadows and hide from the potential death. Even his affinity with Nurgle seems to be shying away from the thought of being so close to the purifying flame. But even so, Cutter still had a job to do. He wasn't completely mindless, completely enslaved to the will of his new God or to the Horror that claimed his body so many years ago. At his core, he was one thing, and one thing only.

Doctor David Nathaniel, one who has seen far too many of his friends die needlessly.

As he's behind Wenomir, the Halt-Horror is in perfect position to try and grab the swordfighter and throw him out of the way of the flames, but two blindingly-fast steps in, the man teleports out, leaving Cutter in direct path of the fire.

Unable to move away in time, his body reacts by instinct. He kneels down, putting his right side towards the fire to shield his weaker side, and turns his head away to try to protect his face. Before the heat reaches him though, one of his innumerable blessings begins to try and defend him. The human shell on Cutter begins to blister rapidly and a buzzing fills the air as hundreds of fat flies begin to erupt from within.

By the time the flame gets within a few feet, a thick cloud has put itself in harm's way. Even so, the flames are held at bay for just a heartbeat before they lick around and touch Cutter.

His human shell is burned away on his right side instantly, flaring up in green flames as his true flesh beneath begins to blister, weep, and blacken. Despite attempts to protect his head, his hair is incinerated and the right side is charred until parts of his skull are showing beneath the flesh.

Finally, the pain too much to bear, Cutter lets out an ear-splitting inhuman screech of pure agony. His voice is such that it sounds like a dozen different people were trying to scream through him at once as he's forced to wait out the attack.

WATCH isn't breaching AMEN's perimeter as speedily as Roxanne had estimated thanks to Moff's terrific defensive strategy (and judging by the beautiful, satisfying agonized screaming that brings a jolly smile to Roxanne's face, they won't be doing so just yet). Taking full advantage of the extra time Moff has provided, Roxanne cloaks, prepping herself to ambush WATCH as tanking without her heavy armor would not be optimal for her survival of the conflict, though the mechanical whir of her still spinning chain gun might divulge her position (grabbing cover behind a wall) to the enemy.

"Wow, does this take me back. AMEN-related eldritch entities just love swordfights." His nonchalance about his inability to see is quickly explained, as a glowing translucent red blade suddenly extends from the dagger.

The light from the psy-blade should provide some illumination, though it's probably still pretty dim in there at best. I'm kinda imagining it as DC being able to only just see in there (so he's at something of a disadvantage, though not totally blinded), but everyone else seeing it as this weird dark field in the air.

"I think I nearly broke old Frosthand's sword last time. Let's see how you compare." He makes a quick slashing attack at the Dark Lord's avatar, speed aided by the fact that it only has the weight of a dagger. The psy-blade is similar to the main weapon in essentially-supernatural sharpness, though whatever the avatar is using is likely able to withstand it just fine. Eldritch things tend to be like that.

Outside the field of darkness, the shrapnel DC was using falls to the ground, no longer held aloft. The gun is still there, though I'm not sure if it's in the field or not.

The main room has changed quite a bit from the last time Greg saw it. For one thing, it's rather dark, with only some gloomy yellow light that isn't in any way natural or electrical. Targeting anyone in the room by sight will be difficult. Some of the light comes from the portal in the corridor towards the front door, but most of it comes from the ceiling and walls of the main room. Or rather, from where they used to be. Right now, the "room" appears to disappear off into the mist in every direction except for the perfectly normal floor.

Dangling in pairs from the ceiling are dozens, perhaps scores, of feet. Anyone standing upright who is taller than 5'7" (1.7 metres) might have toes in their hair or even in their face. The bodies from the knees up seem to be obscured by the mist, but the feet are there, shifting in the air like windchimes. The mist along what used to be the walls has dark shadows moving through it, and unnatural growling and howling noises can be heard. Some of the shadows begin making their way in Greg's direction.

Moff B gets hit with the blow, but his natural resilience to mental effects makes it feel more like a sudden headache than a sledgehammer. He clutches his head and drops behind the furniture barricade. Moff C cannot be seen. But his presence might be inferred from the high pressure spray of powerful acid that is fired at Greg out of the mist in the wall nearest him. The spray is especially aimed at the gun and Greg's hands, trying to either damage the gun or to hurt Greg enough to get him to drop it.

The faint glow from his blood-red irises might help give Greg a clue where he is; whilst he's not actively hiding, he is wearing a black suit in a dark room so should also be hard to spot.

Ordinarily in a situation like this, he'd jump to the ceiling and stay there, reorientating his 'down' so it was everyone else's 'up', but the ceiling looks a bit too dangerous at the moment.

The air is filled with a horrible crackling sound as the Half-Horror forces himself to stand. Cracks appear in the blackened flesh as he pushes his movements too far, and liquids begin to flow from the wounds. When he's finally done standing, his lower-right arm is still fused to his side, and he appears to have trouble breathing.

With his good hand, he reaches up to his face, feeling the eyeless Horror side before feeling the human one. His mouth is a jagged tear on the former half, filled with hundreds of needle like teeth, so it will end up proving quite difficult for the man to speak in the future.

His good hand runs down his burned chest and side and he gives another deep growl before pulling out a scalpel. Unless stopped, he digs it into his own burned flesh to cut apart the hardened shell, allowing himself to breathe easier.

It's a miracle he's even alive, let alone able to stand, but whether or not he can fight now is an entirely different question.

Roxanne is buffeted with a psychokinetic sledgehammer! Stupid cover system doesn't protect her against nonphysical attacks that can bypass walls! Grr!

Luckily, Roxanne is still equipped with light powered armor. The completely un-telegraphed strike does cause her to suffer light injuries, a minor contusion that she'll indubitably feel in the morning but nothing major like broken/fractured ribs. Greg did hammer a shallow dent into Roxanne's armor, though, which disrupts and partially disables her cloaking system, which makes it entirely useless. The attack also knocks her off of her feet, though her grip on her gattling gun doesn't slacken. At least she doesn't have probably supernaturally stinky feet hanging in her face when she lands squarely upon her rear. She attempts to fire a spray of bullets at Greg, ignoring the disturbing feet before her HUD is configured to filter them out by focusing solely upon ending Greg's life even as her gattling gun probably jams after a second or two of maybe actual chain gun fire has possibly elapsed. Twas no more than a prototype, after all. >.<

DC quickly flies backwards to avoid getting impaled, only for the eldritch avatar to (presumably?) plunge the area around them into magical darkness.

The nice thing about flying is that it gives you a lot of ways to maneuver that you wouldn't really have normally, and makes many things significantly easier to avoid.

So as DC sees the sheer number of bladed implements coming his way, he flies back, even then being forced to block one with the psy-blade. With that amount of weaponry going around, there's basically no way he can go on the attack in melee without getting blended.

So instead, what he does is...run, apparently, flying off and taking his weapons with him. He'll fly out of the field of darkness and seems to be heading towards...the top of the valcano with its rainbow lava?

Cutter's eyes are lit with anger and a hazy green flame from deep within. He seems to stumble for a moment, as if he's lost his balance, but stops in a kneeling position. With a growl, the "man" reaches up to his ruined arm and tears it off with a horrible crunching sound. Despite the terrible deep burns, the exposed wound reveals that the bone within the arm seems fairly healthy and alive.

Ignoring the seeping mess from the new wound, Cutter spins his arm in his hand, exposed bone pointed down, and slams it into the ground. What he says next is rather difficult to make out, but anyone who knows their Shakespear might be able to guess it.

"A Pox Upon Your House."

With the curse, the arm crumbles away, the bones within digging into the ground as Cutter passes out. A few moments after the bones vanish, the earth above it becomes damp and moldy, as if it were a marsh.

And that's precisely what's happening.

Unless stopped by powerful magic, the marshy rotting soil will begin to spread towards the fire with incredible speed. If it makes contact with the oil fire, the fire will probably begin dying off as the curse tries to destroy the oil itself instead of breaking it down.

Should that be successful, it'll continue to spread towards the entrance of AMEN, though at a slightly slower rate.

He can't be seen in the mist, but his inhuman groaning noises make it sound like he's barely clinging to life. In fact, his legs are broken in several places and his abdomen is shredded. Then the barking and howling noises get closer, and Moff C lets out a few muffled screams.

Out of the mist, vaguely canine shaped beasts begin tearing at Greg's (presumably shredded) corpse.

The feet dangling from above seem to be somewhat affected by the blast. The shock wave sends them shaking violently, and many of the feet now have shrapnel embedded in them. But they do not bleed, not are they ripped apart the way living flesh has been.

Our mighty Watchmen, fighting off the epic stink of Wenomir's oil soaked self, and the even more epic stink of the thick smoke of the tunnel, make it into the tunnel and to the inner portal.

Outside AMEN

Cutting through the portal for Wenomir is sort of like cutting through a giant spider web. It sticks and pulls with the sword, and will take a few strokes to make a clear space to go through. Then there's the question of how to get the ooky stuff off the sword. The whole time, Wenomir will have the sights and smells and sounds, as well as the mental assault, of the Yellow Road, to deal with.

Cutting through the tunnel is just like before, except that now there is stinky oil and almost no breathable air. So there is that. And since this portal has been up longer, it'll probably use up a whole round to take it down. Unless Wenomir only wants to take it partially down and use it for cover. But even a Moff wouldn't do that in a smoke filled tunnel.

It's about now that explosives would have gone off if Zefir had set them. But he didn't get a chance because of Greg's attack.

Instead of bombs, the assaulting pair will be greeted by the scene below.

Main Room

The main room has changed quite a bit from the last time Greg saw it. For one thing, it's rather dark, with only some gloomy yellow light that isn't in any way natural or electrical. Targeting anyone in the room by sight will be difficult. Some of the light comes from the portal in the corridor towards the front door, but most all of it comes from the ceiling and walls of the main room.

In addition to the lovely ambience above, there are canine shaped shadows growling and tearing at a pair of bodies - one in the back of the room, and one off in the mist to one side. The moaning and muffled screams of the body in the mists suggests it's not dead yet. There is no sign of any AMENites, except for Roxanne, who is probably illuminated by her shiny laser sword. >.<

Important things about the scene:

It's really gloomy dark. Anyone in the scene who doesn't have eyes or weapons or equipment that glows is just a shadow - that goes for AMENites and Watchies alike. Forget seeing colours or details. It's just not possible with normal human vision.
The feet dangle down to make a "ceiling" about 5'7" (1.7 metres) off the floor. Anyone taller than that will either have to crouch, or have feet in their faces, further obscuring their vision.
Wenomir stinks like hell from the oil he was sprayed with, and both Watchmen carry the scent of rancid oil smoke with them.

Roxanne's visor tracks everything. It marks Boris and Wenomir as they enter the room, or rather as Wenomir enters the room (as I'm operating under the assumption that Boris is taking cover behind the portal or somewhere in the tunnel else he'd have to sprint to Moff's barricade, Zefir's barricade, or Roxanne's wall in almost absolute darkness, I think(?)).

Roxanne, ducking and dramatically outlined and ever so slightly illuminated by her awesome shiny laser sword, stalks Wenomir, closing the distance between her and him at an angle so that Boris will not be able to take aim at her without first popping out of cover.

If she is able to achieve the above, she'll attempt to cleave Wenomir's spine asunder with a merciless slash from the right! She doesn't expect this attack to land, especially with the improper form she must adopt to even move in this environment (She doesn't want stinky feets in her face!) but she would be pleasantly surprised if it did! It might force Wenomir to dodge to the left, however, thus pushing him back into the hallway where he might hinder Boris from shooting at anyone.

Instead the psychic's hands swirl with a dark red aura as he faces the oncoming eldritch avatar. The swirling accelerates as the twisted creature approaches, the aura growing thicker and thicker, until at the very last second before it would've reached him, the psychic suddenly launches himself upward and fires off a titanic psychokinetic blast, this one manifesting as a huge, translucent red streak in the air.

That blast alone is rather bone-crunching, to say the least, though of course the eldritch avatar isn't the average opponent. Still ought to be like getting hit with a large truck, but that attack isn't the point, in and of itself.

Instead, the point is that if it connects, the sheer force might just send the avatar of the Dark Lord flying into the rainbow lava below.

That may very well have been his best shot, there. I don't think he's going to be able to pull that again.

AMEN Main Room

Main Room

Dam'Bul stays where he is, waiting for somebody to round the corner he's waiting behind, just behind where the portal stands/stood. The first person he sees will have a sabre slashed towards them from their right at about elbow-height for the average human. His red eyes glow in the darkness, as his demonically enhanced vision is unhindered by the gloom.

[Main Room]

Wenomir will cut through enough of the portal to go through. His old glowing red eyes would make a fine target, no doubt, but now he has regular human eyes. His enemies won't find it any easier to target him than he finds it to target them, which is not easy at all. At least all the practice in blind-fighting will be of use now.

Dam'Bul's sabre will find itself scratching off the sturdy mail protecting Wenomir's torso. Meanwhile, the warrior himself brings his sword down on the glowing eyes, quickly and strongly. He's really, really mad and itching to take it out on something.

Main Room

Boris would assist Wenomir right now, but he doesn't have a clear shot at the pair of glowing eyes. He reaches into the small pack resting on his back and pulls out a pair of night vision goggles. He'll spend the round crouching in cover, making sure they're on right and working properly.

[Main Room]

[Main Room]

A little bit of a problem. Zefir kneel up and watches over the barricade. Since he got nothing that looms he should be safe, but in the same way he is an easy target by those who can see. He can only watch for the moment and due to the feet he won't be able to use his weappons after all. He draws a knife just to get something in his hand.

"That whole thing here is more a penality for us then for them." he whispers to himself.

Difficulty in locating Wenomir and Boris? Ha! Not at all! For one thing, AMEN knows exactly where they are this round - coming in from the tunnel. For another, both men stink to high heaven. Boris of smoke, and Wenomir of smoke and rancid oil. Wenomir's stink is so potent that anyone getting near him is likely to be heavily nauseated. And he's still a potential human torch if anything sets it off.

Say, a laser sword.

As Alexandrian said: Cover, for Boris, is limited to the tunnel, unless he wants to sprint across open ground to reach Roxanne's wall or the furniture barricade made by Moff and Zefir. The AMENites spent several rounds preparing to meet enemies in this room, and that didn't include leaving any convenient cover by the entrance.

While Boris is donning gear and Morty is trying to murderize Dam'Bul, a few of the odd canid shaped things split off from the mob around Greg's corpse. One homes in on Wenomir, the other two head into the tunnel after Boris. They're about the size of, say, a ten year old child on hands and knees. Which is exactly what they look like in the brief glimpses one can get from the light of Roxanne's sword - mostly naked children on hands and knees with the head of a hairless pit bull. They attempt to leap on their targets, tearing at Boris and Wenomir with powerful teeth and jaws and fingers that are somehow far stronger than they ought to be for their size.

Moff C still lives. By the pained noises he is making, he probably heavily regrets that.

Of Moff B, there is no sign. He is no longer with Zefir in the barricade, and Roxanne won't see him with her visor either.

Main Room

I'm just posting this on the current page to bring forward the conditions and turn order.

Turn order: Earl of Purple, Morty, RB, Alexandrian, Zefir, HT, Phantom

((Also, no one seems to be accounting for the very low "ceiling" clearance! I think Wenomir and Dam'Bul, at least, are supposed to be quite tall.))

((Since Phantom said he had something planned, and everyone has now posted, I guess we should give him a day before we continue with the posting cycle? *pokes Phantom*))

Gordon's special bend of magic and tech resulted in some interesting devices, the Lava Cannon, his shock pistol, an elevator that only went to broom closets. But that was not all of the devices that he helped create. While is that important? Well, these devices were built to handle different power sources, so in spite of the EMP that hit the base, they would still be capable of working, through in a limited fashion.

Therefore, the people in the main room and the tunnel leading to it will feel a rumbling as a drill punches it way up from the floor, hopefully not hitting any of the AMENites in the room. Mr E is driving this digging machine blind.

Dam'Bul manages to dodge- just- the sword descending for his head, and he's briefly hampered by the ceiling-feet (I'm rubbish with distances and things; sorry), meaning his next slash, towards Wenomir's head, is poorly aimed and unlikely to hit. He sees the laser sword close in on him and can hear Dam'Bul's blade as well. He moves his own blade gently and steps forward, bending his knees to get out of the way of the dangling feet, seemingly diving straight onto the enemy weapons. But that's not what happens; instead, his sword starts weaving a silvery - or it would be silvery in any sort of normal light - net around him, aiming at Roxanne's and Dam'Bul's weapons, trying to deflect them and push them back. His sword, despite being made of steel, can withstand Roxanne's laser blade. Those same slashes are aimed to disembowel the child-like monsters leaping at him. He doesn't stop there, though; he spins forward, so fast that time seems to slow down near him, slashing his sword around him with quicksilver motions as he tries to push through the attacking AMENites while pushing them back as well. None of the slashes have any chance of causing serious wounds - they're calculated to engage them, put them on a defensive and keep them away from Boris. The sniper can actually see clearly and has a gun. So Wenomir's job is to give him a clear line of fire. Then they can do something about the drill. And apart from that, he needs to get out of the tunnel mouth and into the room, so he has some more space.

This time?

This time DC doesn't run. This time he floats there. His handheld weapons, the dagger and pistol, are now held aloft telekinetically, the dagger's psy-blade gone, the pistol silent.

(The EM gun is still floating over there inconspicuously.)

"Enough running away."

Dark Lord's avatar, drops the sword, and
True strike. The cloth flys trying to wrap around DC waist.

As for the avatar, with a mighty crack, it goes flying downward. Crashing into the lava with a sound more of brick breaking then an watery splash.

...

Well. As it turns out, focusing on charging up a blast like that, combined with your opponent presumably having magically-enhanced accuracy or something, means you're not much able to avoid something.

well it seems that DC got a new belt. One advance curse of gender changing. With two extra things. One there are two words woven into it. Both seem to be unreadable. The other is this belt of cloth and black threads isn't coming off with a plain old remove curse. Might throw him off a bit because the genders think differently. It's right in how the brain is put together.

...and that's...something, alright. (It's actually pretty clever despite being so bizarre as to provoke a response of why would you do that, DC is known to gene-lock some of his gear, and with how genetics work...although due to the circumstances, it's not as impacting. It'll be annoying later.) Certainly an unorthodox response to being smacked with the psychokinetic equivalent of a semi truck into a pit of lava.

DC just kind of...looks down.

"I don't...why would you do that in the middle of a fight to the death while being smashed with a psyblast and being launched into lava...

I don't even care anymore."

The psychic stares downward, waiting to see if that thing comes back out. And kinda halfheartedly fires more beams from that pistol downward where it hit the lava.

It doesn't do much.

"I should have brought more guns."

Surprise
Mind fog.

And it's back out of the lava, the armor looks like it melted a bit. Although what is under it doesn't look like thread, or anything you really want to look closely at.

It swings it's hands at DC, crackling a laugh that echos the torment of mind beyond human understanding, and even that mind is mad.

Darkcomet

That would have worked better if it hadn't talked. But then, logic is not the territory of mad horrors beyond man's comprehension, that much is clear. (Fortunately for DC, these particular psychic powers come with some resistance to mind effects as well, plus he worked on that a fair bit for personal reasons relating to dealing with other psychics.)

DC floats forward and drops a bit, using the power of gravity to not get smacked around. The psychic uses this opportunity to spin around to face the thing...muttering incredulously the entire time.

"Not even the first time that's happened. Dammit, I thought I was done with these ridiculous humiliations. Is something going to explode next?" The sheer bafflement apparently has the effect of distracting from maddening things.

That dagger that's still floating off to the side is launched at the monster, red light emitting from its point. If it hits, the psychic power DC has stuck in there will explode outward in a blast of force, which will be unpleasant. Force blasts going off from inside stab wounds tend to do that.

"My pistol is going to explode next, isn't it. Like when I fought Calublufiok the first time. It would be just as par for the course as this. Or should I say these. This is going to be so irritating at the next corporate meeting. Maybe I'll just use telepathy and drones, wouldn't be particularly abnormal...at least I'm not using the ion cannon, how many of those exploded?"

DC unceremoniously vanishes.

... (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showpost.php?p=16145853&postcount=409)

And then unceremoniously reappears.

"Personal teleporter, activate inverted flux field, override code DC-5A-2C-9E-0M-4K-7Q, lock."

Should the avatar try to teleport DC away again, it will find it blocked. Unfortunately for DC, though, the field only stops DC from being teleported, not anything else-it's too small to affect another unless they were grappling or something.

The other thing it might notice is that the psychic looks...utterly enraged now.

"Did you honestly think a scientist of my caliber would not invent something with the sheer utility value of a PERSONAL TELEPORTER!? I hadn't used it already simply because I didn't want to drain the power. But now, I am through with this," the psychic scientist of questionable sanity declares, flying backwards and pointing towards the EM gun-which had been falling in the brief absence. It starts floating up again rather quickly.

"I am not some idiot with too many guns who just happens to be a psychic. I am one of the Nexus's signature scientists, specializing in exotic methods of power generation. Let me show you why."

Something small floats out of DC's jacket. It looks to be shaped something like a gun magazine. As it turns out, it's an extra power cell for that beam pistol. It is briefly enveloped by that signature reddish aura, its creator tampering with it via precision telekinesis.

It is then telekinetically hurled upward, where it...explodes, emitting a bright, multicolored light show briefly before dying off. The avatar can likely sense that it involved a highly unstable combination of magical energies, something others would know is a common hazard in DC's current technology when it is overloaded to the point of exploding.

Then the EM weapon reaches DC, who grabs it and points it upward, right where the blast was. This is the part where we remember that it has a second barrel, the purpose of which is yet unknown. The EM field deactivates, all power from the weapon diverted

"Let's do some science."

DC fires. As it turns out, the second barrel seems to be a comparatively conventional energy beam weapon, if rather hideously overpowered thanks to power being diverted from the EM field to it and the gun's ridiculous power source. But...that's not really the notable part.

The notable part is where the beam disrupts the hideously unstable energy released by the power cell explosion, destabilizing and amplifying it. The multicolored lightshow returns, shining on the area as DC just keeps on firing, with this look of utter insanity on his (still a he in mind, if not body) face.

It grows larger and more powerful, until finally, a tear opens in the fabric of reality, an unstable rift roaring open, emitting all sorts of unstable magical energy. Said energy likely plays havoc with spells and such, and might make teleporting away (for both DC and the avatar) rather difficult, in that it's probably not advisable unless one wants the teleport to get scrambled and put them in the middle of a solid object or something.

The unstable rift also has the effect of trying to violently suck everything near it into it, in this case meaning DC and the avatar. It's very powerful, to the point that DC is failing at trying to fly away and being forced to put a forcefield between himself and the rift to block...well, himself.

What happens next is anyone's guess. Although, if the avatar bothers to continue paying attention to DC, it'll notice that the psychic's grip on the gun seems to be...slipping.

That falling into the rift might be bad. Effects of falling into the rift to be described if...someone falls into the rift.

The rift is likely noticeable from the airship and the ground.

This stunt is intended as a fight-ender on both sides. DC's gonna be mostly disarmed after this, as my intent is to have the EM gun and the beam pistol pistol both get lost and fall in the rift, and the dagger probably fell while he wasn't paying attention to it, so it's probably sticking out of the lava or something. This will have Fun consequences. It's not intended to necessarily be a win for DC, since the thing might survive (in no way am I saying it will necessarily die if it gets sucked in, for things will happen if/when that gun falls in, and the thing's instability means it won't actually send anything whole to any specific place.) The idea's that if it survives, DC won't have the firepower and it will be in a bad enough condition that it can't keep fighting much either. But you're not bound to that, that's just my idea of it.

Also, DC can never, ever pull this stunt again, as that gun he's using to accomplish it is the only thing he could use to do that, and it won't survive this. The power source for that thing being the only one of its kind DC still had access to. That's kind of the point as well, actually, since I've been meaning to hit some of DC's stuff with the nerfbat and this seems like an appropriate method of justifying it.

And I am more than just something in the walls.

The rift pulls on the Avatar, which is now wearing plain pants, a red shirt, and a cape. Brown hair with white roots, brown eyes with moving cracks in them, and an intensity far beyond sanity.

I'm an Elder Evil, Miss Scientist.

It fires a crackling ball of some strange energy that hurts to look at as seems to bend in right angles as it spins in 460 Degrees circle at DC force field.

Now this is more like home. Shall we visit it?

A mass of black threads shoot out the Avatar hand trying to drag DC to the Avatar as it gets closer to the rift. The same rift which as the Avatar gets closer starts to look even strange and unstable.

Looks like you may be right, at least on the good side being in another dimension doesn't mean your dead or can't come back.

Darkcomet

Oh.

Oh dear, that may not have been the best idea.

The forcefield stops the blast, but only just, shattering and releasing a wave of force that launches DC away from the rift(aided by actually trying to fly away, naturally)...and also causes the unfortunate consequence of losing the hold of the EM gun, which is quickly caught in the rift's pull, unable to resist at all like DC or the avatar could.

It only takes one look at that for DC to decide to bug the hell out, tossing up a weak forcefield to interrupt the threads trying to stop the great escape. It won't last long at all if the avatar puts much effort into it, but that's why DC is flying the hell away. Well, that and the rift.

See, the rift just had a hideously powerful energy source sucked into it, and excess power is what ripped that thing open in the first place. Fortunately, the gun was designed with a number of failsafes, so this doesn't cause anything utterly apocalyptic.

Even the failsafes have limits, though. There is only so much power anything can handle before reaching capacity.

The already-unstable rift crackles and flashes, growing larger and larger as the weapon is sucked into it and power bleeds out of the damaged device at its core. It might even come close to eating the avatar at this point, but then...

The energy bleeding off of it suddenly collapses as the weapon's failsafe, an artifact that acted as an extradimensional storage area, begins absorbing the power from the weapon and the rift at once. The effect only amplifies the pull towards the rift, which might make the avatar's day much worse.

Because, as previously said, there's only so much it can handle. The air is briefly utterly silent, the rift seemingly gone, replaced only by a black orb where the EM gun once was, the weapon itself having collapsed into it. Then a massive high-energy explosion occurs over the valcano, thankfully not actually large enough to harm anyone else (DC knew what he was doing with those failsafes!). But for the avatar?

Well, it gets to deal with a titanic energy blast and a whole lot of raw explosive force. The rift, and the energy of the weapon's core, collapsed into the gun's failsafe system, which then failed to hold it all and caused the giant explosion.

That is definitely visible from elsewhere.

There are a few things about assuming a more true form, one without armor, you take more damage. In this case, one Avatar blow up, into lots of little pieces splattering on the ground and importantly DC.

DC, having flown away to escape the rift and the GIANT EXPLOSION, is pretty far away from there, so it's kind of improbable that much would fly that far in that specific direction.

That combined with the fact that DC is still flying away from there at that point means the psychic's misfortunes manage to end with burning more or less all the weapons he brought (and his physical masculinity) on surviving that fight. That was kinda the thing, given he was on the defensive constantly and only managed to pull that off by sacrificing his own equipment.

DC turns around, looking at where that explosion just happened, probably expecting that thing to pop up again somehow.

But presumably it won't.

First things first. The ground is still rumbling from the drill's entrance, when it begins to shake even more violently and louder, as a MASSIVE EXPLOSION nearby triggers an

Boris makes his shot, getting an instant kill. The second one is caught, and he'll feel little child hands gripping his arm and trying to push him away as the knife plunges into the neck and ends the threat. By the sounds, there are more of them in the room, but they seem to be fairly well satisfied with Greg corpse and Moff C not-yet-corpse.

Moff C is still moaning in misery, off in the mist, until some of his wall collapses in the earthquake, taking the mist with it, and leaving behind rubble and rock dust.

The feet are swinging about like windchimes in a hurricane, and some of them go flying off, possibly hitting (kicking?) people as they do. Think of them more as obstacles than damage-dealers though. A leg flying across the room isn't going to do as much damage as one being directed and powered by its own muscles. If someone manages to see one of the legs in the gloom, it'll appear that the muscle mass stops halfway along the thigh, but the femur is complete, and sticks out above it.

Near the tunnel entrance, one pair of feet drops straight down, revealing Moff B, who fires into the tunnel at Boris. The payload this time is a thick and sticky tree resin - which smells horrible. Yup, Moff is continuing the 'make your opponent stink to high heaven' strategem.

The walls of the tunnel are the weakest link, having already been burned and rotted by fire and Nurgle swamp. There are more sounds of rubble falling near the outside end of the tunnel. Possibly it's completely caved in. Or maybe it's possible to clamber past it. It's impossible to tell from here.

Thanks to the drilling machine, the collapse of one wall, and the possible collapse of the tunnel, the room fills with rock and plaster dust, further obscuring vision and likely to start choking people soon.

Sometime after the earthquake, everyone will hear DC's voice.

"Get bent, DorkComet," Moff B replies. Since he's not psychic, it's probable that only Boris hears his insult.

Important things about the scene:

The EMP field has ended, but none of the electricity in the base has returned yet.
Lots and lots and lots of rock and plaster dust. Breathing is problematic.
There are now gaps in the coverage though.

However, he's clonked by flying feet a fair few times, and is busy coughing and hacking from the dust.

DC turns around, looking at where that explosion just happened, probably expecting that thing to pop up again somehow.

But presumably it won't.

DC sends another of those telepathic mass messages. Boris, Wenomir, and the AMENites present all get to hear. (Also, the telepathy still sounds like DC's regular voice.)

Good news, everyone!

I just obliterated AMEN's pet abomination. Still think I'm just blowing hot air? Where I'm floating, you psychopaths really ought to stand down. Your shield against everyone's retribution is gone. Might want to give yourselves a chance at long-term survival.

Does this make me an amateur exorcist now?

DC might or might not be jumping the gun concerning the avatar, and certainly is about the entity as a whole, but doesn't care. Trying to make an impact on the AMENites is more important. Plus, given the mission, the Watchtower team might decide it's okay to retreat now since that much was accomplished.

Well DC made few mistake there, one he thought it was dead, two she was avoiding using telepathic for a reason. The reason being not wanting to touch some peoples minds. The thing is Dark Lord still has somewhat of a body here but the mind isn't hurt any more than it already is.

Shortly after, Dam'Bul's eyes lose their red glow and change into normal, human blue. Also, his hair fades, paling into blond. This is shortly followed by a spurt of blood as a smooth, muscular, red-skinned arm erupts from the dead host's chest, quickly joined by another as Dam'Bul starts pulling his true, demonic form into this plane. For now, the Karkassolith is too busy emerging to do anything more, though it might still cause chaos- it has an aura that interferes with technological recording devices; so long as a camera is pointed at Dam'Bul, it shows only static, and white noise is all radios can transmit when he speaks. If Boris's goggles have recording capability, then this affect may extend to them, though if they are magically enhanced or very advanced technology they may be unaffected by this.

When he gets back up, he throws a knife at Moff... or tries to. Turns out that while he managed to duck behind the initial spray, it still hits him when Moff brings it back in his direction. The knife is still flung, but Wenomir's left arm is then covered in sap, as well as a good part of his left side. It slows his movements down considerably. The knife throw itself isn't terribly accurate - the momentary flash of light and Moff's voice helped, but everything else, including the sap, did the opposide. After the knife is thrown, he does his best to keep getting away from the drill, but as the sap hardens, it becomes more difficult for him to move. If he's going to use his sword again, it'll have to be with one hand.

As it happens, DC has a much easier time getting back, considering the lack of being attacked so constantly.

Of course, the entrance is still kinda blocked, apparently.

First, the psychic shoots KR a telepathic message calling for pickup of the ground team. The airship begins moving toward the base, quite specifically not firing so as to not make it cave in even more. (Godmod approved by Kris, last I checked with him, will remove it if he objects.) It doesn't arrive yet, as big airships typically take time for these things, and it was staying at long range before.

Then DC does something odd. See, one ability he hasn't used onscreen in a while is his ability to divide his awareness, peering into other locations with psychic 'eyes' of sorts. This is what he is doing now, looking into the AMEN base.

Pickup incoming. Hold your ground. Wenomir and Boris get to hear.

And as this is at fairly close range, Mr. E might see a bizarre sight: A chunk of rubble in the entrance in front of him floats up, a dim reddish aura visible around it providing slight illumination.

This chunk of rubble is then launched at the machine E is driving at high speed. Aiming for whatever looks like a cockpit, or at least, a less-armored portion of it.

Ok, description of machine, based on what Morty asked about.
The drill machine is a fairly simple designed machine, no designs on it, a large drill is the focus on the front of the machine, through there are a pair of clawlike things resting above the treads that move it.
The pilot sits slightly behind the drill, deep inside the machine. After all, it was designed to help him fight Vincent. Through the machine doesn't quite reach the top of the tunnel, you would have to be pretty thin and agile climb over the top of the machine and get to the exit of the tunnel.

Therefore, it doesn't appear that Boris could safely climb on the drill to get at Mr E, especially while fighting off the AMENites attacking. As for DC's attack on the drill, the weakest point on the front of the drill would be the treads. However, those clawlike things do serve as protection for the treads, so the rubble would hit the clawlike objects and likely break up, maybe denting one if it was sent with a lot of force. It was designed to handle traveling through a lot of rock after all, that requires a bit of armoring.

As for Mr E himself, he keeps the drill moving back up the tunnel, waiting for more systems to come back online.

Wenomir enters the room and avoids the drill, but not without having a line carved into his ribs by Dam'Bul. He relaxes when he hears DC's mental message, preparing himself to be telekinetically dragged... and promptly faints. His determination was pretty much the only thing that kept him going at this point. so when he let himself relax in order to make it possible for DC to do his thing, he passed out. Should the claw target him, it's pretty much up to whether or not it's faster than DC's telekinetic lift. Presumably, the claw is launched while the Watchmen are already being hauled out, but I'm not sure.

Boris moves past Dam'bul into the room after shooting him. He hears enough of DC's warning to know not to resist, but he isn't sure how he'd do that anyway. He looks back for a moment, just in time to see some sort of claw coming in this and Wenomir's direction. He's barely able to get a shot off at it as it moves, hoping to deflect it enough to not capture either of them.

I have no idea what to post here. DC...keeps doing that thing DC was already doing, I guess.

Entirely possible the gunshot and the TK-yanking combined are enough to avoid anyone getting grabbed, but that's all I can really suggest at this point.

That other thing on the floor over there keeps being over there, not doing anything.

I'm afraid that a gunshot wouldn't deflect the capture cage. So now its up to Borris's player to say if the cage has him or not. After all, its the defender's choice in these matters.

The moment Wenomir and Boris are out of the base, DC immediately stops with all that telekinesis he's been doing, meaning the entrance to the AMEN base is left collapsed again, most likely.

Strangely, that little reddish ball thing that rolled into the tunnel before suddenly and inexplicably bounces towards the drill machine.

Then it explodes with the force of an exceptionally powerful shrapnel-packed frag grenade. It's not exactly an explosive charge like they wanted to set off in there, but hey. The explosion may or may not worsen the instability in there as well.

Guess DC felt like giving them a parting gift. Probably hoping it'll damage the drill so they won't have an easy way out. Well, for the non-teleporters, anyway.

"We're cutting our losses and leaving. I think I managed to off their abomination, so it's a partial victory anyway. And no, don't ask, I'll be back to normal later. Why would it do that?" The currently-female-bodied psychic will then try to telekinetically grab Boris and Wenomir again and fly them all up to the airship. Assuming that works they'll get teleported aboard once they're in range.

After which the airship will be leaving. Unless there's some interruption or something, of course.

Once again, Mr E is glad that he had this machine made to fight Vincent. Seriously, a blow from his sword is enough to do a lot of damage. Plus, frag grenades are more anti-personal weapons than anti-armored vehicles weapon. Anyways, the blast does shake up the machine, jarring Mr E inside it.

After he recovers, and the capture claw manages to return to the machine, Mr E starts up the drill. Time to open up the entrance again, through its likely that the drill is get to the exit by the time that the airship flies away.

Wenomir's wounds are as follows:

Two cuts on the fight side of his face.
Claw marks on his forearm and hand.
Deep gouges in his side.

They were all made by Dam'Bul. In addition to that, he's covered in the oil and sap Moff shot at him and the dust from the damaged AMEN walls. All of it is getting into the wounds, needless to say.

Presumably everyone is back aboard here now. Teleporters are nice.

It is probably at this point that everyone should be headed back to Watchtower now. Depending on if Cutter is in any condition to do much, Wenomir may or may not get a doctor along the way. But that's up to Wolf. I vaguely recall some vague reference to medic drones at some point, so those may or may not be around as well, I don't know.

Flying Towards AMEN.

There's suddenly great flashes of green lightning, rain begins to fall all over AMEN and the area about it. A supernatural storm has appeared. It seems the presence of so much undead and the insanely powerful necromantic energy surrounding the Crone's Claw causes supernatural storms and other unpleasantly creepy weather effects around it's area. The masssive ship looks intimidating and majestic, as well as absolutely filthy. The ship's cannons are still armed and the crew is combat ready. Clegg and Chuckles are aboard, but other than them, no PC's are aboard.

The ship will gently float a while away from AMEN, the massive cannon locked onto AMEN, along with some other cannons positioned well enough to fire. Clegg didn't know whether or not AMEN lost. He does speak, his voice magnified to echo all over AMEN.

Attention AMENITES. This is Captain Clegg speaking aboard the warship "The Crone's Claw". AMENside has been mostly lost. I am not sure if there are any survivors left. I attempted to fight back HALO and WAtchtower invaders there, but I was forced to retreat. I come with healing supplies to help the injured. Our leaders have abandoned us, AMENites. I will be entering AMEN now. Clegg turns to chuckles. Enter the Spectral Realm, but stay right here.

Clegg grabs five skeletal pirates before disappearing into a puddle of grimy water on the ship. Clegg reappears in a puddle by AMEN, with the five soldiers. Clegg is armed fully, and looks dangerously serious. He moves to enter AMEN. Are there any survivors? Hello?

So Sad, then again, didn't see planet cracker power in a fight like this. Time to rebuild.

It reaches out and grabs a ring out of thin air. Slips it on, and falls into the rock of the base. Black threads appear there and start respreading throughout the base. This could take a while, because the amount of rock, other-dimensional space, and other area that the base exists in, is quite a lot.

Captain Clegg walks into the Main Room, his prosthetic echoing as it tapped down onto the floor. It was much more quiet than usual. There were no babbling Amenites making light conversation. No sexy talk between the Moff's. No semblance of social life. Just dust clogging the thick air, and glum voices speaking and mending the broken down base. Clegg begins to speak. Three of you. Really. What... What happened to the rest? Did they... leave? Abandon us? Three isn't enough. This organization used to have... At least thirty members or so. What... Nevermind. We can simply build on this. I will have 100 crew members summoned here, to assist in rebuilding. Meanwhile, I intend to claim control over what is left of AMEN. I have forces, I have soldiers, I have intimidating military power.

Gentlemen, we were fighting this battle like a bunch of chaotic bumbling loners. A massive free-for-all stretching from AMEN to AMENside, with our very leaders betraying us! We will rebuild from the ashes. And I will help us, for the good of our organization. Us. In the past our members have been concerned about themselves. Not us. Not we. Them. And that is no way to run a professional group like we are. Like we should be. Now... first thing we will be doing is rebuilding, then adding military structures. Zefir, would you do the honors of attempting to round up any other members who may have disappeared? With that, Clegg unsheathes his blade and points it at the ground. A puddle of water appears, and skeletons pop out five by five. The skeletons are all armed, but scatter about to repair the walls and such.

Clegg stands there, looking about.

There was a battle here very recently, and a good deal of the base has been incinerated and collapsed. Doctor, we require your help rebuilding and redesigning the base. I don't see a leader anywhere. And, actually, I DID fight. I was at the battle of AMENside, were a massive mix of Watchtower, Deux ex Mechanus, and HALO all attacked at the same time, and I escaped after causing a great deal of casualties and looting. A win, in my book. If I hadnt done what I did, they'd move to AMEN in a second wave, and you'd all be dead. Now, I've hired a mechanic to assist in rebuilding and constructing a few things for me.

I have a great deal of wealth, soldiers, and a warvessel. That's far more than whatever leader you "elected" has in his possession. And if he ever does come back, I will be challenging him.

Clegg glares down at the floor before breathing in and nodding. You... You're right. We need members. Alright. I'm going to make a visit to Watchtower, and I will attempt to buy out bail to save our members, or if I must, burn the tower to the ground. Mysteriously, another individual comes to the door. Amazingly, despite being played by Blade and being at AMEN, it isn't Cyrus!

Instead, a new person arrives at the door. She looks vaguely like a half-dragon in some ways, due to her clearly reptilian features and generally humanoid shape, but that's about where the similarity ends. To start with, her deep purple "scales" resemble the chitin composite that makes up a beetle's shell rather than the keratin that composes the normal kind. Further, unlike half-human half-dragons, she does not appear to have any significant secondary sexual characteristics. She does have a pair of large dragon-style wings, but unlike the leathery structure that one would expect to see, they are instead fairly well-armored.

Her clothes consist of fairly standard-looking adventurer's gear, with food supplies and canteens and such, though her weapons of choice appear to be a talwar and a crossbow. She's wearing both across her back, though.

Instead of a weapon, her hand holds a bloodied envelope, that she proceeds to offer to whomever opens the door.

"Open letter, addressed to AMEN."

Assuming someone actually reads it, well, the text is below.

To whomever reads this note, I'd like to extend my deepest apologies for not being present during the whole "WATCH attacks!" thing. I do feel so terribly sorry about that. Unless you're Clegg. If Clegg is reading this, please pass it off to the nearest henchman or villain with an ounce of self-respect, thanks.

Anyway, with all of the things going on recently, I've found that my goals no longer truly align with those of AMEN, nor do I gain any more benefit from associating with AMEN than I do working freelance. So, this letter is primarily a formal resignation.

However, it's certainly not in my intent to completely screw you all over or anything (except Clegg, because frankly it is a lot of fun to mess with him). That's why I smuggled a supply of helpful parting gifts into my old room before I cleaned out everything of value and permanently closed the two-way portal to my actual home in there.

Also, one of my minions expressed a desire to see more of the world and strike out on her own initiative, so I thought I'd kill two birds with one stone. I also gave her the key to my old room, though she doesn't know about the stuff in there, nor does she know what the key is for.

Anyway, she's hardly a replacement for moi, but she's more or less competent across the board and if I know her at all, odds are she'll try joining up. She's very social.

Oh, and give my regards to Miss Zorzo. I'm sure she'll make an excellent leader with some experience and maybe a good advisor. I recommend Moff Four: His head's screwed on better than most of the others around here and he won't waste time hitting on her when there's work to be done.

Cheers,

The Heart of Iniquity

P.S. Clegg, if you've read this far, there's a curse on this sentence that makes maggots spontaneously form tiny thermobaric explosions. Enjoy!
