A cursory look through the SRD did not yield me much in the way of options on this, so simple question: are there ways in Pathfinder to optimize caster level checks, for dispelling or otherwise? A spell like True Form, for example, negates polymorphing only on a successful caster level check, which makes it seem strictly worse than just using Dispel Magic (although perhaps its real use was meant to be against lycanthropes). Is there a way to optimize this kind of check so that it'll ever have more than a 50% chance of succeeding against an effect with an equal caster level?
