Scalding sigil
Evocation (fire)
Level: Wiz 1
Components: V, S
Casting Time: 1 standard action
Range: touch
Target: One creature that is not a construct
Duration: 1 round per level
Saving Throw: will negates

You hear a hard, sharp scratching noise as you touch the target, a red symbol glowing like hot coals appears on their forehead
The target of this spell takes 1d6 fire damage per round from the glowing rune.

Exploding spike
Evocation
Level: Wiz/Sor 2 Clr 2
Components: V, S, M
Casting Time:
Range: close (25ft.+5/2 levels)
Target: one creature
Duration: instantaneous
Saving Throw: reflex negates
Spell Resistance: no
As you throw the spike, more spikes erupt from its surface, along with numerous small barbs and hooks
roll 1d4+1, then roll that many D8s, this is because of numerous spikes erupting and impaling the target, the target then takes 1 point of damage every round, just like a wounding weapon

Material component: An iron spike

For the first spell, does the target have to make a reflex save every turn? Or if the succeed the first one they completely negate the spell?

Personally I would change the save on Scalding Sigil to fort or will, as it doesn't make much sense evading something that is attached to you
