Forty minutes ago, I launched my new webcomic Genre Unsavvy: a science fiction slice-of-life adventure story about a world where corporations run the leftovers of civilisation, and a group of friends go about their lives in the midst of corp intrigues, drama and their own fun. There are currently 12 strips online, and I'll upload one more every week.

It can be found here (http://genreunsavvy.com/), and I'm totally psyched about it.

Hope you'll check it out and maybe drop a line of feedback, or just enjoy reading

Very good, so far. Though Pumpkin is bad at naming herself :smalltongue:

Haha, thanks a lot. It's gonna be weird when things turn less Pumpkin-centric. I love writing and drawing her too much :smallwink:

I like it! I was irked that it stopped, so than must mean I want more!

Your analysis is correct, we do want more.

Therefor the artist must draw more. Do it now! :P

Thanks guys, it means a lot to hear others are enjoying it! "Irked when it stopped" has to be the best praise I've ever gotten, haha.

And I'm drawing like crazy, as per requested! I'm hoping I can in time upgrade to a 2x week schedule, but I'm not changing anything officially until I've sustained that rate for at least a few months. But hey, who needs a social life anyway? :smallwink:

It appears that you are a troper. That's reason enough for me to read this comic.

Haha, fun fact: The original idea was for a purely trope-based comedy series. I planned 1 story arcs like that before realizing that the funny well had run cold.

So, yeah... I suppose you could call me a troper of sorts :smallwink:

Well, I'm sold.

Hello... just wanted to say, good going so far :)
Nice clean lines, fine choice of coloring. and so far the premises looks good for a good story :)

But pumpkin is bad at naming herself... that's for sure....

It's easy to enjoy, on account of being highly entertaining.

New comic up!

And isn't James being sneaky? I'm sure Pumpkin will punch him for it sooner or later (or both).

Where did the archive go? The only strip I can find is the newest one.

Thanks, guys! Doompuppy alerted me last night, and I'll look into it as soon as I get home from work today. Might have to do a site wipe as far as I can tell, but it'll be fixed

Geez, Pumpkin's having a pretty crappy morning. She's been dropped through a hole in the floor, had a gun pressed against her head, zapped by robots and is now about to fight a horde of saboteurs.

Plus, she didn't get to lie in either. =/

Fun fact: In an earlier draft, she did this while hungover too. Then I realized that since it's scifi, I couldn't make any Die Hard references, and the idea died :smalltongue:
