Are their feats or PRC's that help out a paladins casting abilities?

There is one PRC called Knight of the Chalice which will allow some additional spells and such.

If your DM allows a bit of optimization, take a level of cleric, then Fist of Raziel. This will allow full Casting and progression as a paladin, better smite, etc. Your mount will not improve though, so that is what you would give up.

Battle Blessing feat from CCham is gold. There are a bunch of Initiate feats in PGtF that add deity-specific spells to the paladin's spell list, some of which are rather potent.

Usual suspects I read about being Battle Blessing to turn a lot of spells into Swift Actions, which definitely helps casting, and Serenity to make you a bit more focused on the stat basis so you can have higher stats, also useful. If you can swing it, Divine Metamagic, also useful. What else were you using those gimped Turn Undead uses for?

The first Mystic Fire Knight substitution level from Champions of Valor (also here (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/iw/20051104a), scroll down) gives you more spell slots and increases your caster level, but you don't get Turn Undead.

The Sword of the Arcane Order feat from the same book lets you prepare wizard spells from a spellbook (how this interacts with Battle Blessing is a matter of debate).

Serenity (DComp) helps a lot by keying your class abilities to Wisdom reducing your MAD, but if you can, try to see if your DM allows you to instead key off everything to Charisma, there are several powerful feats (Divine Might for example) that work off charisma.

Cleric 5 / PRC paladin 3? Much better paladin casting that way.

Prestige Paladin gives you everything Paladin but with (slightly delayed) Cleric or Druid spellcasting.

There are also plenty of Prestige Classes with their own superior spell progression that are basically built for a Paladin 2-4/Whatever 1-3. Apostle of Peace (which has very fast progression up to 9th level spells, but requires pacifism), Chameleon (which can can spells from any list), Emissary of Barachiel (Calling ability), Knight of the Weave (1st through 6th level Sorcerer spells, armored casting, fast metamagic), etc.
