Shapeshifter Druids?

So the shapeshifting alternate class feature for the druid from PHB2 says they can't cast spells, but would they be able to make use of the Spontaneous Rejuvenation class feature while shapeshifted? and if you combine it with the shifter race from eberron how would you make the 2 abilities work together or would you decide they could only do one or the other?

Shapeshift druids retain all spell-like, supernatural and extraordinary abilities, and Spontaneous Rejuvenation is clearly one of those. It doesn't seem to require the use of a body part. Shapeshifting doesn't make you lose spell slots, just the ability to actually cast, so there should be no difficulty with losing a spell slot to use Spontaneous Rejuvenation. Good to go.

The bonuses from the shifter race are untyped and would seem to work in any of the shapeshift forms (with the exception of the duplication of new attack forms using specific limbs/mouth/etc), so I see no reason to deny the ability to stack those benefits.

Funny enough, you also don't need a wisdom score high enough to cast the spell to burn the slot for rejuvination.

This led to me playing a orc druidic avenger with a 6 wisdom. Fun character. The party was trying so hard to figure out how the barbarian with a wild cohort kept healing himself during a rage.

ok the player wants to to take the Animal lord Prestige class how would this work with its class features and what not would how would wild aspect and so forth?

It is it's own ability with it's own set of uses that you can ALSO power using wild shape uses. As a shapeshifter druid cannot wild shape, he is restricted to the uses provided by the class itself. That means once per day at 3rd level, plus one additional time per day for every three levels gained after 3rd (twice per day at 6th level and three times per day at 9th level)

On the other hand, he can take on a wild aspect while shifted, gaining more natural attacks.
