I have the Dragon Compendium, and starting on page 243 it details how to randomly generate Solo Dungeons. Cool, right? But... the method given confuses the hell out of me.
What I want to know is:
Is there a thorough handbook to understanding it somewhere? If not,
would any of you reading this be interested in collaborating (over Skype and Google Drawings or something) in taking an in-depth look into how it works and possibly helping me build a handbook for it?
Once I have a solid understanding of it, I'm pretty sure I can make a Google Spreadsheets template that through custom scripting (basically, javascript) churns out descriptions of random solo dungeons.
