Change shape (Su) detectable?

A quick question: the Change Shape (Su) ability is magical (as are all supernatural abilities), but does it show up when using detect magic? If so, what is the aura? Consider a Succubus, having six HD it should come in as a moderate aura if under the effect of a change shape, or am I wrong?

It's magic, so it should show up as a magical aura. Caster level is almost certainly equivalent to the HD of the creature with the ability. You might have to make a ruling on what school it's from (transmutation, I would say) though, which Detect Magic is also supposed to pick up.
