Between now and January 1st there's a few holidays.

Don't worry, I've got Christmas covered.
But I'd also like to see something for New Year's.

*cough*my 24th birthday is this Thursday*cough*
*cough*so's my parent's 29th anniversary*cough*

I'm going to create a fantastic picture for the person that can give me the funniest/best drawn/whatever New Year's comic for me. New Year's is on a Monday, so it will be shown on a regularly scheduled comic day. (And there will be a normal comic the following Wednesday.)

If anyone feels like filling in for the Wednesday before my birthday, that's cool. I have not scheduled anything but a Monday/Friday comic this week, but if someone wants to share...that's cool ^.^

Awwh, man... I wish I could draw... What if it's hilarious, but kind of poorly drawn? Or sprited?

Well, I actually prefer hilarious over well drawn. Or you could collaborate with someone else.

I would like to remind people that the next holiday that counts (St Valentine's) is on a Wednesday, so it will be up for contest rules.

edit: or perhaps I should draw a picture now and make it a colouring contest...

Photoshop will come in handy for something else than making sprite comics!

Y'know...Kyrian shouted for a colouring contest then didn't even participate in it...

Question for All:

The Town Comics has run out of funds. If I ran a commissionathon (idea stolen from a friend) in which I drew and posted a new picture each day (including the comics we'll be getting back to Monday) that people commissioned me to do of their characters. These characters would then be mailed to their respective player to keep.

Would anyone be interested in participating in such a fundraiser?

I would, but between me and my €800,-- debt it's highly unlikely that I will participate.

Instead of on a separate site, why not just post them here?

Wukei

Post what? The contests? Because I posted the contest on the Comic page.

I guessed that what is making it expensive is the bandwidth. So I was thinking, post the comics here.

Wukei

And illegally take up Rich's bandwidth?

Well he has been adding to the site. What with Erfworld. Maybe he wouldn't mind putting up this comic.

This may be useless, but I never was to good with computers. Why not upload to the photobucket and just link the comics? Creating new accounts when needed? Or is that not possible?

It's possible...but it's not a problem of bandwidth....it's a probblem of we just don't have any more funds. And I am not grovelling to Rich...Rich doesn't even know most of us exist.

I didn't think it would be illegal... it's about the town, why not add it into spoilers like the rest of the town art.

Let me be clear that I do not wish to do anything against Rich. At all.

Why create a comic at all if I have to secretly store it in someone else's forum?

Then why create a comic at all if you don't want to have people look at it?

As long as it can be seen, what's the difference? You could just post the comic images themselves. Sure, the site was nice and all, but there really wasn't much else there.

There's always Smackjeeves.com. Even bonehead me could figure it out.

Secretly?

I don't understand what the problem is. Sorry, but I actually don't. We have town art, you make town art (that happens to be in comic form) and you should be able to post it as part of the town, in the proper area, being the town art or it's own thread.

I'm also wondering what else needed/needs funding?

I doubt Rich would mind. I mean, my comic ((Which admittidly, sucks)) is all hosted on another forum. Although you seem to not want that so I guess it's a last resort.
