Is there a way to make a feint not take a standard action, so you can faint and make an attack in the same turn?

Well, the Improved Feint (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/feats.htm#improvedFeint) feat allows you to feint as a move action.

Improved Feint, from the SRD/PHb, makes it a move action. Requires Combat Expertise; generally seen as a poor investment.

Thanks, I'm not really sure how I missed that

The capstone of invisible blade (only 5 lvls long) allows feinting as a free action. Note that it was errat'd to only be usable once per round, which is a serious nerf.

Improved Feint does make feint a move action, but you can take it one step further than that: Scarlet Corsair from Stormwrack makes it a free action! Unfortunately it does require taking a few levels in a mostly sub-par prestige class.

The Invisible Blade PrC lets you feint as a move action at 3rd level and as a free action at 5th. Scarlet Corsair lets you feint as a free action at 3rd level.

The Surprising Riposte (DotU) feat fixes that. Also I think Beguiler lets you Feint as a free action.

Beguiler 6 + improved feint lets makes it a free or swift, not sure.

Einhander Tactical feat lets you make a sleight of hand check to feint as a free action.

Acrobatic backstab skill trick, move action tumble check leaves oponents flatfooted, 1/encounter.

Insightful Feint from SpC gives a nice bonus to feint and allows feinting as a free action (if you have Imp Feint) at the cost of your swift (to cast the spell). Pretty good for a wand chambered spell if you have the UMD to use reliably.
