Besides actually elemental, can you think of any race that players can be that qualifies as being an elemental ?

What sort of qualification do you mean? "Treated as Elemental type despite being X", or something?

The half-elementals were updated in Dragon Magazine #326 page 86 to become viable player races (as LA+3 template classes, and remember, you don't have to finish all the levels of a template class). They counted as outsiders, unfortunately.

The Genasi are humanoids with X element as a subtype?

i.e Fire Genasi is a Humaniod with the fire subtype.

Nope - they count as Outsiders [Native], like the rest of the planetouched, unfortunately.

Elemental Savant I believe makes you an Elemental type IIRC.
