Edit: using a Mac with OSX 10.8

When i've been visiting here (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=302021) the past few days, Google Chrome has been displaying the following message:

Danger: Malware Ahead!
Google Chrome has blocked access to this page on www.giantitp.com.
Content from www.magicdeckvortex.com, a known malware distributor, has been inserted into this web page. Visiting this page now is very likely to infect your Mac with malware.

Here's the information about magicdeckvortex (http://safebrowsing.clients.google.com/safebrowsing/diagnostic?site=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.magicdeckvortex.c om%2Fimages%2Farticle_images%2FGen_Con_2009_91.jpg&client=googlechrome&hl=en-US).

Strangely, when I visit the page in other browsers, I don't get any error messages. COuld this be a Google Chrome issue?

I guess the other browsers don't use the same warning list as Google Chrome? That said, you might want to block that site? GitP is safe, but dunno about that one.

I'm on Google Chrome, got the same thing. Bypassed it, the last image in the images spoiler at the end of the first post is the culprit.

thanks =3. I was bout to use Terminal, but I think perhaps just blocking it through Chrome is easier / better

Ah, this is using Chrome with Mac OSX 10.8. Prolly should have put that in the Original thread.
