So inspired by Ilvens's LP of FE 7 and finding my own copy of the game I was curious on how some characters would work in a 3.5 environment, sure I know the mechanics are completely different, but I think it is a neat thought exercise.
So my opening thoughts on the Lords:
Lyn: A Ranger 2/Warblade X, ranger for bow proficiency and "free" Rapid Shot, warblade focusing on Diamond Mind, particularly the Gem Nightmare blade line to somewhat reproduce how common is for her to crit (at least in my experience), though maybe the d12 would make her too tough (she almost always ends up as a glass cannon in my playthroughs).
Eliwood: Again straight Warblade, perhaps focusing on strikes, if we go by his Knight Lord promotion, Wild Cohort can help with it.
Hector: I'm torn, Crusader would show his tanky-ness, but Warblade would give him earth shattering power via Iron heart, so I'm not too sure.
