For my next session (which will be in a couple of months) I wanted my players to be involved in a war. I don't want them to fight in there, is mostly for flavor and to test their ability to escape danger. Main problem: I'm not sure how to create or generate a number of battlefields. To put it in context, the armies in question are the human (spiked with dwarves, elfs, etc.) vs. the drow. I know that drows are underground creatures, but the general idea is that these are like city elves and they are the attacking force. But I digress. I need to create at least a couple battlefields best if they are random. Oh and by battlefield I don't mean the terrain but rather the composition and movement of troops. So, does the playground has any advice or idea on how to pull this off?
