A.K.A. the place where you can ask people who all the characters are in the thread (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=296585) and try to clarify the in-character nonsense of the moment.

My thought is that, to aid the ability of people to get caught up quickly, I'll have the profiles of the characters here in the opening post (at least basic stuff like name, appearance, and abilities) and a summary of what's happening now. It'd help if you guys could either post here with your character bios or PM it to me so I can copy it into the OP.

Kryptojack is actually referred to as Applejack or other Applejack by other characters. She was born to a high-class scientist on the planet Krypton, and narrowly escaped the destruction of her home world when she was sent to Equestria, with the goal of preserving pony life.

Well, what a coincidence! Well, except for the whole "saving pony life" thing.

She was found and raised by Granny Smith, who decided to name her Applejack. And wasn't she surprised when she found out the kid was an alien with superpowers!

...okay, that's enough quoting Death Battle.

Anyways, her spaceship crashed in the Apple family orchard, where Granny Smith was trying to raise Big Mac by herself after his parents died. She took Applejack in, and later, when another ship crashed containing another pony sent in the same way, she took her in as well, calling that one Apple Bloom. Regrettably, Filthy Rich took the spaceships away for "disposal", and so Applejack never found out that she could read the Kryptonian on those ships.

As the result of a terrifying incident during her youth wherein she lost her temper and kicked a tree hard enough to make it explode (and realized just what that would do to a pony), Applejack was terrified of her power for some time, and went to great lengths to reign in her strength, speed, and other abilities to appear gifted, but normal. Eventually, after helping save the world from Nightmare Moon, Applejack slowly began to realize that now that she has control, she can stop holding back quite as much when power is needed. Even so, her terror still remains deep down, restraining her solar-fueled abilities.

Speaking of those abilities, at the very high end of the amount of power she is comfortable accessing, she can lift 100 tons with ease and can hit with about double that force if she's using her hind legs. She can fly, move, and think at about Mach 30 (30 times the speed of sound), and can utilize heat vision to melt steel within ten seconds. She can also freeze things by blowing at them, though this is a power she rarely uses, so she's rather inexperienced at using it. Finally, she has a bioelectric aura and superdense skin that together make her nigh-invulnerable. Excepting, of course, the famous Kryptonite, which drains her solar energy away at an accelerated rate and is fatal with prolonged exposure; magic, which bypasses the bioelectric aura, thus making it easier to hurt her with it; and red sun radiation, which she cannot absorb for power. Think of her as a phone battery, and yellow (or blue) sunlight is the charger. Take away the charger and your phone still works, but it's not constantly recharging and will eventually run out of power. Just so with Kryptonian physiology.

Flutterchee is an alien android version of Fluttershy. Created by a peace-loving race named the Pemalites as playmates, the Chee are literally incapable of violence or deliberate harm to other beings. However, the Pemalites were slaughtered by a race called the Howlers, and the Chee fled with only a few fatally ill members of the Pemalites left alive.

Eventually, the Chee reached Equestria, only to find that there were other alien ships in orbit around it. They were shot down, and the last of the Pemalites were killed when the aliens sent their forces down to destroy the survivors. The Chee survived, discovered these aliens to be Yeerk forces, and began attempting to infiltrate them in the hopes of being able to aid any resistance to the Yeerks they might find. However, this effort was hampered, since they had no clue who to trust or where the Yeerk invasion was centered.

Fluttershy is one of the Chee, and aided somewhat in the defeat of Nightmare Moon by taking a blow that would have killed Twilight. This revealed her android self, but she swore the others in the Mane Six to silence after ensuring they were not Yeerks. In a poorly-advised attempt to spare them the burden of her paranoia, Fluttershy refused to tell them of the Yeerk threat.

As a Chee, Fluttershy resembles a canine android in her normal form. However, she typically hides this with holograms, a technology that Chee are quite adept with. They can create holograms of any conceivable thing if it's smaller than 100 meters. Naturally, the bigger the hologram, the more power is required to maintain it. Flutterchee is also significantly faster, stronger, and more durable than a normal pony, though her inability to harm others means she utilizes this for defense only. She's fast enough to dodge lasers, durable enough to be able to tank most energy attacks and be hit by a bus with no damage, and strong enough to pin a grizzly bear (without hurting it). However, if she takes a powerful enough impact or sufficient damage, her holograms become disrupted.

As a Chee, she is also quite adept at handling even alien computers, able to hack into just about anything and do nearly anything with it once inside. She is also connected to all other Chee via Cheenet, which is basically a private Internet for Chee only. Finally, she has a perfect memory and is literally incapable of forgetting something, though she might not make necessary connections if she's not thinking about it too hard.

Twilionnite is half-Carrionite. Her mother was a Carrionite, fled to Equestria for sanctuary, was chased, her husband was killed, she fought them off but sustained a fatal wound, and she gave Twilionnite to Night Light and Twilight Velvet to raise. Twilionnite only found out about this after the Nightmare Moon incident.

Sorry, I just lost my more complete version and I'm in no mood to type it out again. So you get the abbreviated version.

Power-wise, Twilionnite could take and defeat both Celestia and Luna at once with her magical abilities, though since she's got a mental block thanks to that test in Canterlot, she has yet to attain this power. As such, she's around the power levels of canon Twilight, though her spells have been tending towards the combative side recently.

Impinkieble is a Poppupian who came to Equestria because she was bored.

...yup, that's about it for backstory.

She can shift into anything instantaneously (with a trademark popping sound), though she cannot imitate superpowers very well and she always looks pink. She can survive nearly anything, doesn't need oxygen, and has no concept of gender.

Proper Place is a young unicorn colt who loves order and despises chaos. Unfortunately, he lives in Ponyville.

Enough said.

This brought the attention of an alicorn from another dimension. Hades, seeing the disorder this version of Tartarus was in, decided to create a champion to conquer it, giving him the ability to end a centuries-long war in his own dimension.

He chose Proper Place.

Proper, though young, has been gifted by Hades with abilities and equipment that he instinctively knows how to use. He can shadowport, an effortless technique that allows him to move from one shadow to another. However, he usually has to have some sort of connection to a particular shadow if he wants to go to someone or someplace in particular. Usually meeting someone or having been somewhere is enough, and he has an instinctive connection to anything involved with Tartarus.

He is also pyrokinetic, able to control and generate flame. This can reach metal-melting temperatures. However, controlling anything much hotter than, say, campfire temperatures burns up his energy quickly (pun intended). Similarly, controlling or generating large quantities of even relatively cool flame can eventually exhaust him.

He also has a Helm of Darkness, which is thought-triggered and turns the wearer invisible. This helm can only be used by those with a direct connection with Hades (i.e. being Hades, being direct family to Hades, or being his champion). Proper also has a moneybag that refills itself when closed. This can be used by anyone.

Lerog is a young dragon, brother to a dragon that Rater slew for invading Trottingham. He swore revenge on ponykind (having no idea who killed his brother) and drew the attention of Hel, an alicorn of dishonorable death, pestilence, and famine. She sensed the attempts of Hades to claim a second Tartarus, and chose Lerog as her champion, hoping to claim Tartarus herself.

Lerog, as a dragon, is a somewhat underwhelming specimen. He's about the size of the teenage dragons in Dragon Quest, and while he can defeat any normal pony with ease, as dragons go he is weak. His flame melts steel after about twenty seconds, he is immune to heat and cold, he is strong enough to crush stone in his fist and dent it with a punch, and he is tough enough to shrug off minor magics and survive being hit with a train.

However, his true power is in the powers given him by Hel. With only a touch, he can corrupt living creatures into one of three minions loyal to him:

Pestilences, living avatars of decay. They appear as an incredibly sickly version of what they once were. If they choose, anything they touch rots, rusts, dissolves, or whatever is applicable. Living creatures they touch become similarly diseased, and within half an hour have their loyalties turned to Lerog and, by extension, Hel.

Famines, living avatars of starvation. They are incredibly emanciated and have the sharp teeth of a predator. They are the only minions that do not spread themselves: instead they simply devour anything even remotely edible. Despite their appearance, they are incredibly strong and fast, constantly at the peak of the ability of their base species.

Dead, the unliving avatars of... yeah, this theme breaks down about here. Basically, they are zombies, but retain the abilities they had in life. They are only slow when they choose to be, in other words. Defeating them requires that you destroy or separate enough of their bodies that they cannot move; as long as they can move, they will continue to drag themselves after you. They can spread their affliction with a bite, which takes effect as soon as the being dies.

And no, setting them on fire doesn't work.

First, we have my in game persona. He is somepony who sought out immortality, and is pretty damn close. is form and species have changed a few times. curently his true form is a mas of corporal shadow, seeng as he is technically a spirit of cold and darkness. his "body" is essentially a mass of Ectoplasm that looks like a body, and while he inhabits it it merges with his true substance and resembles normal tissues. His current Ecto-suit resembles an Idealized version of his original body, but with red eyes and Fangs. when asked why he did that, his reponse was "I invested $150 for this costume, I'm winning that cosplay contest god Damn it!(He went as Alucard). He owns the FT or Franken-TARDIS. it is a patch work of 15 hollowed out TARDIS's, Dalek Technology, and Epic Level Magic. those 15 Hollowed out TARDIS's are the same ones that Crimson Doom used to create Blue Box.
He is a spell caster, but every spell he casts that is over a certain power level must be done ritually. what that power level is depends on the type of magic. for that reason, he prefers to use inchnted Magi-tech, or to prepare spells ritually a head of time and then activate them with a lower level spell. He also has no Idea what he is in charater. He is also functionally Immortal, the only thing that can permanently slay him is Fire, which is a source of light and heat, to cancel his Darkness and cold. because of that, he created a very efficient Fire Proofing Charm. he is aware of the fourth wall, as he originates from the other side of it. however, he dislikes it when others break it blatently when the uniformed are near by, as that can have detrimentle effects on their sanity.

Rater-D is not a character per say, but rater the result of Raters Co-location abillty, being efectively a Copy of Rater that acts independantly of Rater, but is in constant comunication with him. there can be up to five Rater-Ds active at one point in time, though Raters power is divided evenly between himself and each copy.

On to the Monstrous Mane 6, and the Cute monster Crusaders. these are alternate universe analogs to the normal Mane 6 and Cutie Mark Crusaders. those are also OOC nick names to distinguish them from both the canon versions, and their counter parts native to the RP thread. Each of them has suffered from the loss of there home-world, which was consumed by, to quote myself, "Cheep Heartless Knock offs". the MM6 has had about 400 years to adjust, but the CMC have only had a year, Day, or month to adjust, and thus have not yet adjusted completely. Time Travel was involved. all of them have a nick name, but unless they are in the same place as their analog from the RP shard, those nick names are entirely OOC.

Twilich is an analog to Twilight Sparkle, she transformed herself into a Lich, hoping that the power boost would be enough to let her cast a plain shif spell strong enough to escape Ravenloft, a plain Identical to the D&D setting it is named for. The particular Ritual she used id not have anything morally objectionable. she is running on the "good Lich" variant found in the 3.5 D&D supplement Libris Mortis. to counter Crimson and his plains walkers, she learned how to summon monster spirits(Yu-Gi-Oh monsters). she alternates between a Dargons, Zombies, and spellcasters, but when she starts using one, she sticks with it till the end of the encounter(Read, she has three decks that she alternates between)

Zombie Pie, is an anolog of pinkie pie. she and dashie died in an acident, but did not pass on, Twilich, before she was a lich, managed to cheet Ravenloft's "Ressurections a bitch" rule, by binding Pinkies soul to a Zombie, which she spent considerable time upgrading. she is romantically involved with Cyber Dash. she recently gained tha abillity to turn into an ordinary pony at will. Is Married to Cyber Dash

Cyber Dash is rainbow Dash's Analolg. Her body was too damaged to make a Zombie, So Twilight bound her soul to a golem. Dash's inherent awesome then modified her new body into what looks like a Rainbow Dash shaped fighter jet. She recently gained the abillity to become a normal pony at will, has accepted Pinkies proposal, and is feeling very maternal about Scootaloo. she also shared a body with Pinkie Pie for a brife time, which is how she learned of her pink pony parnes crush in the firstplace. this also aloud some unique pinkie magic to bleed into Dashie, end result, Dashie can break the fourth wall. Recently Gained the Ability to turn into a "Normal" Pony at will. Is now Married to Zombie Pie

Demonjack is an appljack that gained a veriation on the half fiend template after a summoning mshap. so inadition to her earth pony abilities, she has winged flight, and hellfire conjuration abilities. she's also slightly stronger than she was before. is very glad to be reunited with her little sister

FlutterWolf-Fluttershy as a werewolf. she has had 4 centuries to practise her stare, and can back it with lupine instincts. yellow is her normal voice, sienna is when those lupine insticts come to the fore, useally when shhe's using the stare or otherwise trying to be assertive. her lycantropy ha giving her some anger issues.

Raripire is rarity as a Vampire Lord. she is running on a variant of the 3.5 Vampire lord template(minus the bit about creating 10 spawn and surviving an assassination attempt.) I extrapolated a bit, if 100 years lessens a vampires sunlight vulnerability that much, then 400 would get rid of it entirely. she is involved with Spike, who is now a full grown dragon. her vampirism rendered the age and lifespan diferaces a non issue, and magic renders the size differance moot.

Spike. No fancy nickname, he's just an older and wiser spike. involved with rarity, he recently woke up from his most recent Hibernation.

Shadow Bloom is apple bloom as a living shadow. she doesnt know it, but she is the same kind of shadow that destroyed equestria. anything they kill is raised as one of their own. somehow, Shadow Bloom retained enough of her sense of self to fight of the instincts and go back to what she was before. she does not remember anything that happened during her shadowification, and has had a year to adjust. as far as she's concerned, all that happened is that she's a different color and she can fly and walk through walls. She is Partnered with Bearmon.

Sweetie Bellemental Sweetie Belle was killed fleeing the shadows, but came back as a ghost. when the world fell apart she drifted through the void until she landed in a world called Creation, in Creation, she absorbed energy from the Elemental Pole of Air, becoming an Air elemental, emboding the Ice aspect of Air.from her perspective, it's only been one day since Equestria fell apart, and she had a break down when the shock wore off. But, she also had her big sister their to comfort her when she did. she started theropy to deal with it, the therapy drone(a security drone with PHD level psychology and psychiatry knowledge and a normal speaking voice) instructed her to do things that she likes or is good at. following that advice, she beet the high score on Nothing's Gonna Stp Us Now" o the karaoke machine in the recently vacated Karaoke bar, getting a singing cutie mark in the process. she is partnered with Lucemon.

Scootalbound is a Sin-eater Scootaloo. she was badly injured but still alive when the world fell apart. she landed in a forest in the NWOD. as she lay dieing, a Geist known as The Murdered Daughter approached her and made the bargain, which Scootaloo accepted. how ever, the native Magic in the NWOD prevented Scootaloo from communicating with humans, and she was captured by a Krewe of Necromancer Archtype Sin-Eaters. The Krewe , unable to realize that Scootaloo was sapient, and not knowing anything about ethical human or animal treatment, kept her in a cage while interogating her geist. The Foal was rescued by One of Rater's Analogs, a Vampire Named Cyrus, who was in the area and was afraid that rater would kill him if he found out that he did nothing.

The Filly resided in the infirmary, as she was suffering from exhaustion, malnutrition, and contracted an infection leading to fever. The Murdered Daughter used almost all of her power to keep the poor foal alive, and thus she did not benefit from the normal sin-eater disease resistance. the infection has been purged though so once the filly's fever broke, she was free to leave.

she was abused by her father and neglected by her mother. her father belittled her and hit her at least once, after finding out she had a crush on an other filly(the filly was her own age, and is neither of the other two crusaders) She told rainbow Dash everything exept th part about the crush being a filly, and dash asked if Scootaloo wanted o be part of her and pinkies new family. after a few hours, Scootaloo accepted, so Cyber Dash is now Scootaloo's mom/Big Sister/idol/mentour figure. Zombie Pie is insisting that she's going to be the Daddy

Her Threshold is The Torn, and her Aspect is (moderate) Reaper. she knows the Shroud Manifestation to the fourth level and rage to the second level, and has the Stigmata, Cold Wind and Silent Keys(which is a retcon, stigmata works better than passion did). Shge also has a Psyche of 2. this particular version of Scootaloo has a thing for Panda's, because I saw it in a fic once and thought it was cute. due to a blood Transfusion from Pinkies "Normal" body, Scoots can break the forth wall, but only does to join Cyber Dash in the mane thread. she doesn't really understand it. She is Partnered with Dorumon.

The Murdered Daughter is a powerful Geist that takes the form of a young girl, twelve at the oldest, who is wearing a torn Victorian style dress and is covered in cuts. her agenda is that she wishes to protect others from her type of death(Death by Betrayal) and always takes hosts that were abused or neglected as children, or that are abused children. she has the unique abilities to internalized the engies of death, instead of shunting it off elsewhere, allowing her to resurrect her hosts with out permanently straining their bond. she also has numenia that prevent them from aging, if that is her hosts wish. she would prefer them to stay children, but will not force them to if they wish to grow up. regardless those two abilities mean that her hosts don't die until they are good and ready. her Keystone is called the Bloodstained Doll. it takes the form of a stffed doll, with a Heart Shaped Bloodstain on it's chest. other than that it's form is never the same twice. the only common factor is that the current host finds it comforting(in Scootaloos case it is a plush panda that's bigger than she is.) it posses the minor ability to protect the host, or someone the host willingly lends it to, from non-magical nightmare. she can not break the fourth wall, but is brought along for the ride when Scootaloo does. Has Victorian Sensibilities, as that is the point in time in which she was alive, and died while she was too young to know that they were bunk

Now we get the Crusaders Partners. they are Digimon artificilialy created via one of Rater's exparemnts, and bound to the crusaders by a familliar bond.

Dorumon Is a rookie level beast Digimon, and Scotaloo's partner. he is somewhat brash, but a little sensitive, he also has wings, but can not fly, though his more advanced forms can fly very well. hopefully that meens good things for his Partner's Future. Scoots sometimes rides on is back. His Forms are Dodomon-Dorimon-Dorumon-Dorugamon-Dorugreymon-Alphamon. He reaches the Megalevel by Biomerging with Scootabound, and becasue his partner has a ghost fused with her soul, is cappable of triggering Death X evolution at will.

Lucemon is a rookie level angel Digimon, and Sweetie belle's partner. the Lucemon species does not actually evolve past thge rooki level, but has mode changes that advance it's power to those levels instead. and considering it's incredible base power, it really does not need to evolve fully. This particular Lucemon is shy, and worried about his Species' reputation for evil. Infact, his shyness is a deliberate rejection of his speceis eveil, as he is a digital embodiment of sinful pride. (http://digimon.wikia.com/wiki/Seven_Great_Demon_Lords) he likes to carry Sweetie Belle on his head. His forms are Puttimon-Cupimon-Lucemon-Chaos Mode-Shadowlord Mode

Bearmon is a rookie level beast Digimon. this particular Bearmon is a very hard worker. His Forms are Punimon-Tsunomon-Bearmon-Grizzlymon-GrapLeomon-Marsmon. So, he's a bear, that turens into a bigger bear, that turns into a prowrestling Anthrolion wearing power armor, that turns into a human lookinggod wearing the pelt of a big cat as a hat. yeah.

And now on to Raters Analogs. these are raters counter parts in other dimensions. each of whom is based on a Character I've made in an RPG. each of them has only had a minor appearance, and are unlikely to show up in the future unless there is a specific need for them.

Based on a char from a DBZ game that never got off the ground is Sitair. He's a Nemekian from the Dragon Clan(Kami, Dende, Demon King Piccolo). he somehow got a hold of a pair of patora ear rings, and traded them to rater for 1000 Celestia Quarts Crystals.

Cyrus is a Vampire of Clan Ventrue, Bloodline Malkavian(His madness is an obsession with Cartoons) and a respected member of the Ordo Dracul. He is a protagy for the Mystery of the Divinities, and rscued Scootaloo. He also wrote a book about Uathra anatomy.

TIWoM, or The Immaculate Wyrm of Metamorphosis is a Devil Tiger Infernal exalt. he helped Rater create the spells used to make clone bodies. his themes are transformation, evolution, self improvement, incorporation, and development. he knows the charms used to spawn third circle demons, but has not yet done so

Serena is not one of raters Analogs, but is mentioned here because she is TIWoM's Lunar Mate. She is a powerful Full Moon Caste Lunar exalt, and her spirit shape is a honey badger. she knows powerful tracking charms and has custom knacks that men he's basically a Chimera with out the whole going insane part, this makes her a formidable opponent. She can travel dimensions under her own power. She also thinks that Cyber Dash and Zombie Pie are the cutest couple.

Shadow Claw is based on a Character I have from Adventure Quest, and thus is the Hero of an other story. If he were from any other setting, e would probably be a Sue, so I've actually toned down him a little biot to avoid being too OP. He's aDracoPyre(Vampire, Werewolf, and Half Dragon when Transformed, but all three are mixed and thus diluted somewhat, making him only slightly more powerful than a pure blooded member of one of the Subraces). He has a passive ability that let him learn many skills in a short amount of time, hence he posseses a Wide array of skills. Most Relevant currently are his Skill at Lorian Necromancy, and the Training he Recived as One of the Demon Knights of Stormfallen. (Level 10 in both classes) His Backstory is basically the AQ storyline, up to the point where the Kniht Class Turnement quest was released.

Ink Jet is One of Shadow Claws Familiars, She is a Shadow Pegasus, which is to say an elelmental Creature that is alive neutrally(Not Undead, or Bilogically Living), nd is made os Equal Parts elemental Darkness And Elemental Light. Really Snarky.

Finally, we have the SECURITY DRONES. They are robots driving around in tanks that are modeled after Dalek shells. Both the robot and the tanks are retro enginered from Dalek Technology, though the weapon stick's are inhanced with tech similar to that which is used by Orbital friendship canons.(So they are more effective against entities harmed by friendship, but they still work as normal against beings that are not adversly effect y friendship energy.) some of them have been modified for other purposes

so basically, they are Daleks.

Silent Night is dead, forever.

Nightcore isn't, however. His niece, she's a bit of a power-grabber and a little power hungry, but levelheaded. Had a horrible childhood. Potent necromancer and user of sound magic. In a relationship with Glorious Dawn.

Dawn is a eldrich abomination who also happens to be the closest thing to a truly stable individual who interacts with the Night family. Woke up in a temple dedicated to herself when Silent Night and Nightcore snooped through it a decade or so ago, has a few cousins in the family with genuine active religious bases. Potent shapeshifter.

Charnel is ...well, her name pretty much indicates where she falls on the alignment pool. User of powerful fire magic and necromancy, and is able to blend the two seamlessly when she needs to.

Pushing Daisies is a undead Ghoul-Scout, a group of undead fillies who sold cookies to support the Scions of Darkness when they were active. Now has resigned herself to trying to survive and make friends with Nightcore.

Nightingale: Silent Night's sister, supposedly the one with the head on her shoulders.

This is a lie Nightcore tells herself in order to make it seem that her family isn't as terrible as it really is.

Tricked into entering Tartarus by Silent after she discovered the more rotten aspects of his personality, she was confronted by the Wardens with a deal: She couldn't be a prisoner, but she could be a guard. And, because of Tartarus's lack of natural food, she would be transformed into a form more appropriate for a prison guard for the most horrid creatures imaginable.

She accepted it, naturally, as the alternative would be starving in a icy black pit in the ground.

Lairing within Cocytus, what could be called the "free range" prison pit, she gained substanence from causing emotinal pain to the eternal wanders of the pitch-black eternal blizzard that made up the area, inflicting mental trauma when applicable. One to the typical methods she used was forcing the forever-confused and scared wanderers, forever cursed to only remember there past emotinal pain, to bond with others and invest trust with them, only to have them turn on each other when there bellies growl and there minds grow feverish.

Then she got the "all-clear" from up above, and got out of the place with her powers intact.

In essance, she's a windego-like entity that feeds on emotinal pain. She doesn't need to make other's eat each other to feed, but it helps.

Bastara
A reclusive shadow master, Bastara is adept at illusion magic and just plain remaining undetected. He wields Scorca the Shifting Blade, a sword that can flawlessly disguise itself and it's wielder. At a young age his father, Brell, betrayed the kingdom of Sularia. Meralin's father, Marvin, confronted Brell and the two fought. Eventually they killed each other simultaneously and with the last of their strength put a spell on their children. As a result, Bastara was held in magical stasis for 100s of years. Now, every night he dreams of his father's murder at the hands of Marvin and is driven by the spell his father cast to kill every one of Marvin's descendants. Ironically, the only living descendant of Marvin is Meralin, who Bastara is in love with.

Meralin
Meralin is A Druid, adept at magic and specifically shapechange. She is also a Dream Keeper and thus can do things like predict the future through her dreams and cast spells while asleep. Her father, Marvin, fought Brell after the later betrayed Sularia. The two men killed each other and cast a spell on their children so that each night, Meralin and Bastara would dream of their father's murder and be driven to kill the other. Meralin, nor Bastara was aware for some time that the other was the one they were destined to kill however and thus, ironically, became romantically engaged.

Xander
A Drakon (basically a Half-Dragon) Sarax-Okus (gish), Xander is famed for his achievements during the War of the Cults. He has a wide array of magical abilities comparable to Brithalin's (the greatest mortal mage in Drakora's history) and an unmatchable mastery of the Sarax-Okus fighting style. In combat he has no peer and is capable of singlehandedly destroying gods and whipping armies off the face of Drakora. However, he resents his abilities and his thirst for combat and as such always restrains himself during a fight.

Dathid
Dathid is a skilled artificer who is also adept and pickpocketing, stealth, thievery and other illicit activities. He doesn't believe in killing and as such wields a folding, repeating crossbow that fires bolts tipped with magical knockout poison. Dathid's father was also an artificer, but was framed for a murder by the Church of Alm due to his religious views. Dathid grew up having to steal and pickpocket to get by. He used his magical and mechanical devices to aid him in his endeavors.

Fanrir
The general to the exiled Dragon King, Wynak, Fanrir is trained in magic and many forms of swordplay and sharpshooting. Fanrir wields his magical sword Iron Wand and the automatically reloading Elvish crossbow Wolf Draw in combat. He has not fought in any actual wars, and as such still finds battle to be glorious and righteous. Thought Fanrir attempts to be a leader of sorts for the Drakora heroes, many do not accept his hot headed leadership. Fanrir looks up to Xander as a role model and heroes, much to the dismay of the war-torn Drakon legend.

Lahk-Mout
A priest of Ashuntip that hails from the island of Ubor Alta. He wield the boomerangs Brushfire, Spirit Seeker and Reverse Striker in combat along with his staff which he can use to summon nature spirits. He is also an Arcane Damnator and is thus quite adept at countering and deleting arcane magic. Lahk-Mout is somewhat of a religious zealot, constantly preaching the benefits of his religion and looking with open distain upon the users of the "Blasphemous art".

Eulshrak
The quite and reclusive Svald of the group, Eulshrak harnesses his animal instincts to fight with great ferocity. When not transformed into a bear/wolf monstrosity that can easily rip a human apart he fights by hurling basically anything on hand. Throwing axes, rocks or bits of his enemies are all viable ammunition. When he went on his Blood Band (a Svald coming of age ritual) his two blood brothers got killed. Not wanting to face the humiliation of a failed Blood Band, Eulshrak ran off into the mountains were he lived like an animal for years. He still his less man than beast and has trouble with the finer points of "civilization".

Brithalin The most powerful mortal mage Drakora has ever known, Brithalin wields a massive array of spells and magical items. During the Mage War, those Wizards, Sorcerers and Clerics who would not choose a side were known as the Grey Mages. The Grey Mages were persecuted until Brithalin led them to the safe haven of the Astral Isles. However, during his exodus, Brithalin lost many of his best friends and followers. This scarred him and left him somewhat paranoid. As a result he has multiple layers of magical contingencies and literally has an entire vault of magical protection items with him at all times.

Bronos Bronos is a potent martial artist who, ironically, owes much of his power to his enslavement. Born into slavery, Bronos suffered immeasurable cruelties from his sadistic Wizard captor. His parents were killed as part of an experiment, he was frequently subjected to torturous obedience spells and magical venom that strengthened his body but weakened his mind . However, he miraculously escaped and underwent training in a martial arts technique that would let his channel his hatred into his blows. Now he fights with an eerie calm, while on the inside he is a raging volcano of hatred.

Ged, Lore and Thatelor used to be in an adventuring party together. However, one fateful day, their leader, Mathias, was killed. Each of the surviving members secretly blamed himself for Mathias' death and the party broke up. When Reesha was rising, Ged called them back together to confront this new threat. Since then, they have been fighting together in the name of Mathias and trying to work through their own guilt for his death.

Ged A self taught mage with a knack for conjuration and creating entirely new spells, Ged utilizes his multipurpose sphere spells to achieve his goals. He controls his spells with his trademark iron and crystal glove which lets him "program" commands into his spheres. The glove can also be used to block incoming spells and "hack" into permanent magic. Highly curious, Ged loves to replicate and learn any kind of magic he comes across, the more obscure and bizarre the better. Though he tries to be a ladies man, he has failed to solidify any sort of loving relationship. In the end, he cares more about magical research than women.

Lore Known in Drakora as the Blur Blade, Lore is an unmatchable swordsman capable of delivering devastating, lightning quick strikes with his two swords. Born a farm boy, Lore was drafted into the local guard where he showed his innate talent with the blade, dispatching enemies with far more experience. He was then initiated as a squire to the best blademaster of the realm were he perfected his art. Performing two swords instead of one, Lore wields the twin longswords Islia and Bruthgar. Forged of the same chunk of mithril, the Elven Islia and Dwarven Brithgar share an unintentional bond, allowing Lore to fight with he two weapons as though they were one.

Thatelor A powerful and incredibly tenacious crusader, Thatelor fights like a living mountain. Though his family originally intended for him to become a Paladin of Alm, Thatelor realized at a young age the corruption in the Church of Alm. He left his family and found spiritual guidance from a wandering Cleric of Good. Fighting for the concept of order and righteousness, Thatelor calls upon bursts of divine inspiration to enable him to smite his foes and protect his allies. He wields a massive battleaxe, True Light, which enables him to heal wounds and gain vitality through fighting evil.

Syris(Dead) An old Elivsh legend and a friend of Fanrir, Syric was one of the original heroes who set off to stop Reesha. When a Raszhvakal threatened to kill the entire team, Syris sacrificed himself to kill the beast. Though Fanrir tried to resurrect his friend, Syris refused. He had lived a long life and he felt his time was up. Fanrir still holds himself accountable for Syris' death, and will do anything to prevent another one of his allies dying.

Javed
Little is known about this low-ranking demon of greed. Though he once was human being over two thousand years ago, now he is nothing but a formless manifestation of malevolence and hatred. This, added together with the psionic abilities he has honed to great power over the years make him a fearsome opponent. Despite this, however, he still ranks barely higher than an imp in the infernal hierarchy. He does his best to avoid any sort of involvement into the fiendish politics. In fact, he only shows any true interest into his studies, which concern the composition and function of the soul and mind. His arduous work on this topic has lead him to insights that are rivaled by only the mighty demiliches and some gods. His ultimate goal that he intends to achieve through this is not just immortality, but absolute eternalness, and survival beyond the death of existance itself. Though he may act friendly and polite, he will stop at nothing when it comes to his goals, and views other living creatures as dumb insects who do not understand their own shortlivedness.

Lance is an extraplanar traveller, bound to an entity of chaos and chance, and cursed to wander the planes eternally, forced to bumble through whatever happens to randomly come his in way until he dies and is reincarnated to begin the game anew in a new world. Though he does not like to talk about how his journey began, he seems to be very much happy about it by now, trying to make the best out of every situation.

The most noteworthy his skills are the art of Reflectionmancy, an art of magic focused on manipulating and creating mirrors and other sorts of reflective surfaces for the usage in various spells. To this end, he always carries a custom made magical umbrella with him which doubles as a focus for his spellcasting. His connection to an entity of chance also gives him highly increased luck, making him able to stumble his way through even the most unlikely of situations alive.
Amongst his possessions is also a small coin which contains the spirit that has cursed him. Though it does not appear to be overtly magical, it is impossible for Lance to get permanently rid of it, and will always eventually return to him. The spirit itself rarely interacts with its surroundings, only appearing directly agressive towards other spirits that try to take control of Lance, and people who try to forcibly remove it from him.

Professor Boffinspark, former student of Princess Celestia and current mad scientist. Based in his small fleet of airships, the professor divides his time between performing dangerous experiments and firing off barrages of friendship blasts from his OFC network. Over his long and frequently bizarre career, the professor been the archenemy of Silent Night and his cult, spliced his DNA with that of a phoenix, married Princess Pyria of the Fire Elementals, and most recently fathered a pair of half-fire elemental alicorns.

Igor, Professor Boffinspark’s assistant, is an orangutan granted genius-level intelligence through one of Boffinspark’s early experiments. Having somehow gained exceptional hand-to-hoof combat skills, Igor serves as the professor’s muscle when he encounters problems that can’t be solved via orbital bombardment. While normally Igor’s vocabulary is restricted to the “ooks” common to his species, occasionally he’ll use the airship’s computer as a translation device when he feels the need to make himself heard.
One word of warning, don’t ever refer to Igor as a “monkey”. Seriously, don't.

Prince Regeln is known throughout Canterlot as Princess Celestia’s personal assistant; however, what few ponies know is that he is in fact a centuries old dragon, hatched and raised by Princess Celestia herself, and he has served the Princesses since before Luna became Nightmare Moon. More recently, Regeln has found himself assigned to Professor Boffinspark as an overseer, in hopes that Regeln can prevent the professor from causing Equestria any long-term damage. To say the prince is unhappy with his current assignment would be a gross understatement.

Princess Pyria of the Fire Elemental Kingdom is Boffinspark’s wife, having met him while trying to apprehend her wayward younger sister, Infernia. While moderately more reasonable than her trigger-happy husband, Pyria seems to have difficulty with concepts such as restraint, or the idea that ponies don’t react well to beings that descend from the sky in flames while yelling at the top of their lungs.

Octy originated as part of a ninja cloning program started by Professor Boffinspark to provide him with an army of readily disposable minions that could be deployed against Silent Night’s cult members. Unfortunately, according to the professor, such a cloning program is bound to occasionally produce “genetic anomalies”, which in Octy’s case means a giant Pinkie Pie/Octopus monster. Rather than dispose of the monstrosity, Boffinspark used her in several experiments regarding unstable “Pink One” energy, causing Octy to grow to enormous size and emit energy waves hazardous to undead and eldritch abominations. While normally friendly, if somewhat terrifying, Octy has on several occasions demonstrated a fierce sense of protectiveness towards her “father”.

Trigger Happy and Cleansing Flame, the most recent additions to this insanity, are the twin foals of Boffinspark and Pyria. Being barely toddlers, they don't tend to do terribly much.

Lerog is currently running from Trottingham, having been driven away by Boffinspark's Orbital Harmony Cannons.

Zombie Pie and Cyber Dash have been married on Rater's FrankenTARDIS (which is incidentally parked in the Everfree Forest), with the Alien Mane Six, the rest of the Monstrous Mane Six (and their version of Spike), the Cute Monster Crusaders and presumably their Digimon companions, all the Drakorans, Sitair, Shadow Claw, Cyrus, and Rater himself. The marriage part has happened, and things have moved on to the reception.

Rater is using his ability to be in more than one place at once to go take back Trottingham. He is closing in on Lerog thanks to coordinates from Boffinspark.

Jarie is in the infirmary of the FrankenTARDIS, stuck there with an iron-based injury on her arm.

There is currently a connection between the FrankenTARDIS and Boffinspark's airship that may or may not still be active.

Boffinspark is currently on his airship trying to locate Silent Night, locate the dunderhead who tried to summon Silent Night, and create a new and painful way to torment Silent Night's afterlife. Baron Semedi has just recruited his aid in keeping Tartarus and the dead the way they ought to be. A number of others, including Pushing and Pyria, are nearby.

Moonwhisper is reporting to Regeln on Boffinspark's airship.

Lance and Nightingale are on a date in Manehatten. Current status: x-rated. Do not disturb without good reason.

Nightcore and Dawn are in their home, just kind of chilling. Do not disturb without good reason.

A.K.A. the place where you can ask people who all the characters are and try to clarify the in-character nonsense of the moment.

My thought is that, to aid the ability of people to get caught up quickly, I'll have the profiles of the characters here in the opening post (at least basic stuff like name, appearance, and abilities) and a summary of what's happened before and what's happening now. It'd help if you guys could either post here with your character bios or PM it to me so I can copy it into the OP.

*reserved for character profiles*

*reserved for plot summary*

On that note, I've lost track of what's been going on for the past five or so pages. Anypony care to fill me in?

Every pony but Your group and Glorius Dawn has left the Demi Plain.
Rater evacuated the TARDIS out of Time and spent twenty four hours of relative time with himself and the MM^ resting, allowing Shadow Bloom and Sweetie Bellemental to get reacquainted with there Big sisters.

during the night, Zombie Pie and Cyber Dash spoke about how the Cute Monster Crusaders turning up might mean that Scootaloo survived. Dash feels guilt about not saving her number one fan, and has seen plenty of Equestrias where Scootaloo was homeless, neglected or abused, and was worried that her worlds Scootaloo had such a home life.

After resting for a few Hours Rater used the scroll on Creation's sorcery that he got from TIWoM, cross referancing with a Book on Werewolf Anatomy that he Got from Cyrus, to Modify the Patora ear rings he got from Sitar to Fuse Cyber Dash and Zombie Pies Clone bodies with there real Bodies in such a way as to let them switch at will. rater did this because he's tired of the two bugging him to cast the body switch spell. it's for Covert operations, not Booty Calls god damn it.

After successfully performing the procedure, Pinkie and Dashie ran off to celebrate. despite Twilich's theory, they did not immediately mate with each other, but went to a fancy resturaunt located in the FT. while there, Pinkie Proposed to Dashie, who accepted.

Rater then set the Ft to pick up on anyone entering The RP Shard. it picked up on the Drakorans entering from their Demi-plain, and shifted to a reasonable distanec away.

Speaking of the Drakorans, they Tracked Bastara's Ghost to a cold frozen land, and Meralin began to cast the ritual to resurrect him.

At this point, Rater was contacted by his analog, Cyrus, because the Scootaloo from the MM6's Equestria turned up in the NWOD. So the FT departed to pick her up. The FT returned soon after it left, how ever.

Shortly after doing so, Humbles OCs were attacked by a Windigo like entity, refered to here after as the Spirit(Though it's technically an outsider). Rater was monetering the situation, and led The MM6 to halp deal with it. on there part, using the elemnts of Harmony, a Fire Proofing Spell, Hellfire, an anti Spirit field, The Elements again, and The Stare, as well as several abilities. and the Abilities of Humble's OC, who I will let him Describe, the two groups collectively held the spirit at bay long enough for Bastara to be reincarnated, though the spirit later possessed Bastara and is trying to convince him that my Characters are going to murder him in his sleep or something. point is it's not true.

All the Chars from my group and Humbles Group are currently on the FT.

I'll do a new post with Char profiles later. Probably tomorrow.

Bastara. It will take me awhile to get all of the Drakora heroes done.

Okay Char Profiles.

How I do enjoy having only one character.

Meralin n' Xander
Also, should I post the pictures I've made of these characters?

Go ahead, I'll edit them into the OP.

Also, I've edited all current profiles into the OP and have summarized the first two pages of the RP thus far.

Also, I've been thinking about introducing extraterrestrial versions of the Mane Six into the RP in the hopes of motivating myself to write the fic I came up with them for. Is this alright with everypony, or are there enough alt-universe canon characters going around already?

As long as they are different enough from the Monstrous Mane 6 so that they don't fuse together if the two should meet(as I mentioned is a thing back in mane thread) then I have no objections.

Sufficiently different, I should think, since they were pretty much all born that way. That alone should ensure no fusing. It'll definitely cause some bizarre conversations, though...

you'd be suprised. there a reason non of in game rater's analogs look or act or sound like he does...

As for strange conversations:

No way! I'm Pinkie Pie too!

Charnels conversation with Bastara was in the everfree forest, they telported there after leaving cratorlot.

It was the same fluid twice.

everything else seems accurate though.

Also, the FT's current location in time is ten minutes Before Meralin began reincarnating Bastara, though enough time may have gone by for that to no longer be the case.

So, would all of the Alien Mane 6 be asexual/hermaphroditic, or just Alien/Pie?

Ah, thanks. I'll go fix that immediately.

Rarity is physically genderless, as is Fluttershy (though they both identify as female). The others all have genders, though.

If six anomalous energy signatures hailing from another dimension were to appear and trigger the FrankenTARDIS's sensors, how likely is Rater to investigate? If that's a likely outcome, I think that's how I'll introduce them.

Well, I figured the energy signatures would be from the dimensions breaking rather than from the ponies themselves. (Although Dash would probably set off the sensors anyways.) But if he'd only investigate if it's the signatures similar to the Mane Six, I'm willing to accommodate. Though I'll probably wind up having them show up one at a time. I don't want to introduce them all at once.

I have decided to do the Drakorans in two character chucks so I don't go crazy.

Fanrir looks up to Xander as a role model and heroes, much to the dismay of the war-torn Drakon legend.

...Shouldn't Nightingale have a char profile?

Fair enough:

More of the Drakorans.

The kinda plots that can easily be solved with Time travel and a complex illusion(To prevent Paradox)

Well, see, the thing is, this is far from simple, because we have two time travelers. For all you know, Blue could have transported them a few minutes earlier as well. It'd be chancy, they'd risk crossing their own timestreams, but she could do it. And so they'd have the encounter again, only with an advantage on whoever happens to remember the first encounter. And then you might try that again a few minutes earlier, and so on.

Now, if we're going for simplicity, I can have Blue prevent anyone from time-traveling in that sector. This prevents easy retconning in this case and, I'm not gonna lie, allows me to get what I want in that Twilight gets snatched. Since you essentially won our last encounter, it'd be nice if you'd allow me to get away with something in this one.

On the other hoof, I intentionally did nothing to stop Crimson from connecting to the mountains(There was a crap tone I could have done) and the reason for the spell breaker busting the captive copy was because I realized that my originally intended use for it would be to close to god modding.

I think you're doing pretty well thus far. The only problem I see is one that I also struggle with: remembering where all your characters are and having them reply when stuff happens. Probably just a side effect of having so many characters and having the party split. After all, Rater doesn't seem to have that problem, primarily because for the most part everyone of his stays in one group.

Yeah, that's the kind of thing we are trying to avoid here. that counts as god modding. you don't just cripple somepony else's PC without the players permission, especially when doing so makes it impossible for a storyline to advance. That makes several story line impossible to advance, whih is not fair to myself or crimson, who are being Crippled

Doing that cripples all of my characters, and one of Crimsons Characters.

And if that is the secret weapon that those others were talking abot than it is Blatent God Modding as they would have no way to know about my characters, or Crimson's, ad thus no reason to restric time travel or telleportation.

So, I'm sorry, but I'm ignoring that, for those reasons.

Yeah, I guess we can place the Crimson thing on the back burner. He'll be wanting to get Blanc's power activated, but after the last fiasco, he'll wait until he knows you're distracted. An invasion would do the trick nicely, I think.

As for introducing the alien Mane Six, Rainbow at least would thrive if her first appearance was to beat up a bunch of unimportant minions, so she at least can wait until the invasion starts. Come to think of it, Rarity would benefit as well from that, though in a different way. So I guess once I introduce Pinkie, the invasion can begin without it inconveniencing me at all. Well, the Monstrous Mane six started as a joke, based on something SiuiS said, but then we split from the MAne thread unexpectedly, so I came up with a back story for them.

Crimson said that The Alien Mane 6 are here, because he's doing a story with them and is trying to get Ideas.

Definitely not through brute force, but there are ways to get through the ward without invitation. you've seen one already. Nightingale got in, when she possessed Bastara. Because she did so before Bastara was invited in, The Charm recognized them as one entity.

If Javed can pull something like that off, then he can get in, otherwise, no.

Actually, he would use some method that I like to call 'convoluted technobabel about the interaction between SOULS and magic after which he abuses the fact that he is a formless psionic entity'. He would not be able to take anyone with him, though, and it's not like he poses a threat to anyone aboard the Tardis. And I really don't plan on doing it. It was just something that came to mind in case he would have to flee from the Tardis when I had him return to his homeworld.

Just for the record, the entire Lucemon Species is extremely powerful.(The one from Frontier could take out Mega's with one hit, while Sweeties is not quite that powerful, he is still as powerful as a champion (mostly because Lucemon does not actually have a Champion form).

And he's pure angel until he reaches ultimate, so if I were you, i would expect to lose some canon fodder to a child less than a day old.

I take it that the stronger demons have explicit resistances to large amounts of positive energy?

Hmm, the Drakorans have dealt with a demon lord before, Karakul. However, Karakul was dangerous not because of his raw power, he could only disguise himself as people, make copies of himself and teleport , but because he is good at manipulating people. He got the Drakorans to blow up a whole city which turned the kingdom of Celticose against them. He used the truth about Bastara's and Meralin's father to turn the two lover against each other at a critical moment. Heck, even when he was permanently banished from Drakora by the Heart, the overuse of Divine magic caused the reality of Drakora to weaken which leads to the current predicament the Drakorans are in. So Karakul, even when he loses, he wins.

I won't bring Karakul in unless you guys really want me to though. He is difficult to RP because it's perfectly in character for him to anticipate what everyone will do and have contingency plans for everything.

would he anticipate an angel willingly turning into a demon god to gain a power boost?

Because Lucemon can do that. and it's a mode change, not evolution, so he can do it whenever. like right now. he just doesn't want to. cause you know, he's trying to avoid his species reputation for evil, and doing that is staring it right in the face.

That's what I was referring to when I said I had a demon lord by the way. one of Lucemon's mode changes, Lucemon(fall down mode), is classified as a Demon Lord Type Digimon.

I'll give you a bit of a spoiler on this one, because I feel nice. Whether the demons have resistance to positive or negative energy depends on what kind of demons they are. Those of greed, envy, wrath and sloth are resitant to negtive energy, while those of gluttony and lust are resistant to positive energy. All of them are weak to actual holy energy, though. And anything above a certain rank is resistant to all of these, as are demons of pride, which are a special case.

And you can bet on getting some cannon fodder to beat up. That would be the imps, who are not quite real demons, and mostly mindless.

Anyway, I'll start this whole thing soon. When I'm not quite as tired.

If Lucimon's species has a reputation for evil then Karakul would probably suspect some sort of internal struggle within Lucemon. In fact, Karakul would probably try and exploit that by masquerading as Sweete Belle and horribly abandoning Lucimon (And yes, Karakul could mimic the special bond between Digimon and Partner. His most potent ability aside form his intellect and planning is his ability to perfectly disguise himself.). Karakul would then hope that the evil within Lucimon would rise up, take control and seek revenge for it's abandonment.

If Karakul can manipulate Blue Box into doing it, part of being a blue planeswalker is the ability to telepathically mess around with people's heads. I imagine that, given enough time, Blue could arrange to make Lucemon think that there's only one bond even if there's two. So that's one way.

Not without severing it entirely. remember, these specific three have a bond to the crusades as an explisit part of them. the only way to sever that would be to destroy the Digimon, and prevent it from being reconfigured, or to kill the human/pony partner.

And The bond is strong enough that they literally feel each others pain and sense the general direction of each other (I'm drawing from tamers here).

To be honest, I doubt that a demon as smart as this guy would be would see all of the holes in this plan.(Notably that abandoning her new friend would be totally out of character for Sweetie)

And it's irrelevant, because humble said he'd only bring him in if we all agreed to it. to be Honest, I was just asking questions and clarifying.

Karakul works by getting people to do things of their own accord. He rarely, if ever uses mind control magic, preferring to let his silver tonged control his targets. Something as specific as blocking out a bond is not the kind of thing Karakul would aim for and if he did get control of Blue he would probably not stop at simply facilitating the manipulation of Lucimon.

Then Karakul wouldn't go after Lucimon. His plan was just something I made on the spot and he is smart enough to have backup plans and backup plans for the backup plans of his backup plans. Seriously though, Karakul is a Demon Lord of Manipulation. He could, if he really tried, find some way to get at Lucimon. He doesn't need any other reason to try and destroy someplace as he can always gain from more souls corrupted and killed. He also has a grudge against the Drakorans who managed to banish him from Drakora permanently and make all native Drakorans see through his disguises. As such, Karakul has to get at the Drakorans through others which is what he would do should I add him to the RP.

only one on one, and only in rater's "Physical form" I have not actually defined how powerful my IC selfs "true Form" is, just that it is much stronger than when he's sealed in a ecto-shell, and that he's limited to cold and darkness abilities, as well as whatever he's gotten from soul eating.(Regeneration, Dark vision, fire resistance(has not fully intergrated those dragon souls yet) and small amounts of dragon fire).

Do note, that Rater never fights alone, unless specifically challenged to one on one.

As a rule of thumb, if they can take a direct blast from the Elements, then It will probably take a degree of effort

do note that he's literally immortal though, so will eventually win from shear attrition. he just lacks the patience for it.

Between the Elements of Harmony, the god-slayer, the group of people who can take down armies effortlessly, and the Kryptonian, I don't think that's an unreasonable assumption. I mean, Thor actually beat Galactus once. Granted, Galactus was weakened at the time. But Superman can beat Thor. Kryptojack has that potential, so she might be able to take Galactus by herself if she can get past her mental blocks. Add in everyone else... yeah, Galactus would probably lose.

Which means that the leader of this demon army will have to be stronger than Galactus to pose a challenge to anyone here. Meanwhile, in the depths of Tartarus, Javed felt the souls aboard the Tardis dissapearing. He had been keeping an eye on them, just in case.

Had they just travelled back in time to prevent the invasion from happening. No, that was impossible. Otherwise he would already be feeling the effects of their travel. Had they fled or travelled to the future to escape the invation? Unlikely, given how annoyingly desperate their leader was to show his might at every opportunity. No, the only explanation was that they had removed themselves from the timestream to gather more time for preparations.
His line of thought was validated a moment later, when they returned.

They alone would be able to beat back the invasion. And considering the unkown forces that were at work here, this was truly a fools errand. Not even she would be able to take on all of them. That, he was sure of. The only thing that remained was figuring out how he could turn the situation to his advantage.

Yeah, that would probably be for the best. The only other demon with actual resistance to holy energy right now would be their leader, and I don't want her to be taken out quite that early. I'll see to her getting to fight a powerful (relatively) pride demon at some point.

On another note, I am happy to announce that I'll have plenty of time for the next 4 days, which meanst that I'll be able to focus a bit more on this than usual. Should help, given that things are starting to pick up.

Come to think of it, at some point I might need to do a small write-up about the physiology of these demons, to avoid confusion about how they can be harmed and how they can be killed. There aren't any special methods needed, but some parts of it might get confusing.

Pride demons are resistant, PERIOD. :smalltongue:

On a more serious note, their resistance has to do with the origin of these demons and how their own pride interacts with it. They have a higher resistance to all damage than any other kind of demons has. And again, these demons are quite deliberatly overly powerful.

Yes, your invasion force is definitely a challenge. The cannon fodder distracts them and the big guys move in for the potent strikes. First off, I think you waaaay misinterpreted what Nightingale had in mind. It wasn't "bow before me" so much as "bow to my master lest he tear you to shreds". Second off, I'm more trying to figure out whether Nightingale can see us and whether the beast thing left when the timestop did. Sorry for not clarifying that.

For those who weren't present for the original Ponythread RP, I've dug up the character profiles for Boffinspark and company.

According to Professor Boffinspark, the Orbital Friendship Cannon array (which is what the second image bomb was), operates by absorbing ambient "friendship radiation" and coalescing it into a directed energy blast, theoretically mimicking the Elements of Harmony.

Hrm. Looks like this demon is at a disadvantage, then. He's using arcane magic (because he's a demon of pride, which are the only ones who do that), and might take a while before realising that this does not work at all. The average demon of lower rank, which are all that this army contains except for the leader and the demons of lust (which are those big things in the sky) are about 1 to 3 deities strong, so I suppose your guy will win, before being inevitably overrun if he doesn't get any help.

Have I mentioned how much fun it is to make up your own species of demons and determining all of their exact abilities?

Like say, Me, the MM6, two summond dragons, two champion level digimon, and a rookie level digimon who is cononically stronger than both combined?

The ones who just poerted in and attacked the demon army, fivw minutes before you made your post?

Well, the army is spread out pretty big, covering miles and miles of territory by now. It's an invasion force, after all. There should be more than enough demons around to keep everyone at least somewhat occupied.

Though I'll make a small reaction to the attack on the lust demons ASAP.

Only my Charaters are there. I was working under the asumtion that the Lust Demon's were in the same locarion as the Pride demon.

If they are not, then you can redirect Lucemon and Dorugamon's attacks to them. I'm pretty sure that with My PC's abilliities, once we get through them, the canon fodder should not take to long.

There are currently five guarding the entirety of the battlefield. They're somewhat big. More of them might be in reserve, though.

On another note, Crimson, I should mention that these demons vanish into thin air when they are killed. They have no natural physical forms, and just dissppear in a puff of evil when killed.

Lucemon is a he.

Pride Demons would work best. when Lucemon enters Chaos Mode, he is reclassified from an Angel type Digimon to a Demon Lord type Digimon, and is one of the Seven Great Demon Lords, all of whom are assosiated with a Judo-Christian demon, a celestial body, and one of the seven deadly Sins.

Lucemon Chaos mode is associated with the Sun, and the sin of Pride.(I already said what demon he's assosiated with. note that This Lucemon is nothing like his name sake)
I get the metal image of a pride demon managing to bypass the defensis on the group and almost hurting Sweetie Bellemental. the attack on his partner, his friend, his Pride would be enough for Lucemon to get over his hang ups and mode change, at least long enough to punish the attacking demon.

Hrm. Would you please give me a chronological description of how this attack works out in the OOC thread? I don't think I get it. Fanrir fires his corrsbow bolt and then begins a swing with his sword. He then teleports next to the demon and finishes the sword swing, decapitating it and finishing it off with the crossbow bolt. After that, Xander activated the emergency teleportation Rater put on Fanrir and teleported Fanrir outside the gates or Tartarus.

I could have some demons attack him directly, then, depending on how many you want. They're spreading out and attacking most major targets right now.

Also, they're not gods. They're actually some of the lowliest members of this species, which in retrospect is starting to sound like something right out of the immortals handbook.

So, in game raters soul eating abillity adds the raw power of the entities he consumes to his own. with the souls of the mortal wicked(Like the dragons) doing so takes time.

With evil spirits, such as say demons, it's more or less instant.

Well, from the imps he wouldn't get much. They are essentially created by dividing a normal demons soul into millions of seperate pieces, resulting in these much less powerful but easily controllable minions. He'd gain pretty much jack from one, and need to absorb half of the masses currently in Tartarus for anything noticeable.

As for the lust demons, they would be worth a lot. Not entirely sure how much, but they are very much the stupid but powerful brutes of their kind. SO yeah. A lot.

However, these demons consist in large parts of living thoughts and desires, so absorbing one of them would probably have side effects. IC, Rater wouldn't be aware of this, of course, so he might even try. I certainly didn't expect this possibility. Might lead to an interesting story somewhere down the road.

well, I could see in game rater being influenced by the sin associated with the demons in question, and since his true spirit form is based loosely on the spirits from the NWOD he could probably gain the abillity to influnce lust in others, though in Rater's case that lust would not be one for the pleasures of flesh, but some other type of Lust, probably one for power.(My in game self as no sex drive, and is the kind of person who gains new powers and plays around with the because he's bored)

These lust demons are explitly not based merely on sexual lust, but any desire for pleasure and joy. However, lust for power would be something that would be mroe of the domain of a demon of greed. A demon of lust would rather influence him into becoming a sort-of Caligula type.

I think it would take two or three dozen for the influence to get that bad. especially when you consider that the soul eating power only works on evil spirits and the souls of the wicked, and thus has built in capabilities to prevent that sort of thing in the first place(The demons being made of corrupt thoughts and desires being the only reason they could influence him at all)

Their essence is completly integrated from the beginning. That is an integral part of this species of demons. They're beings which form a unison of a soul, and certain ideas and emotions.

Raw power s almost instant, at least for spiritual entities such as demons.

Actual abilities need to be developed by trial and error, which gets easier as the essence is properly integrated.

In this case, developing powers absorbed from the lust demons would greatly increase the risk of becoming corrupted.

and the power He would gain is only about half(Sometimes less) of the raw power of the being he absorbs, weather he get's the power increase instantly or over the course of years.

Considering the fact the first thing we established about the leader is that while she is stronger than my sealed form, she was out classed by my true spirit form(mile wide mass of shadow and cold), I don't think I'd need to. besides, if I ate something that strong, I'd have the girls elementalize the corruption out, leaving me with a massive power boost with no side effects.:smalltongue:

Actually, all of these demons (well, except for the imps) are formless masses of evil and desire if they do not take physical form, too. And I never said outclassed. Beaten, certainly, but it wouldn't be a completly curb-stomp thing. You know how my ingame slf has said that he's the weakest member i]of his group? while no longer acurate anymore(Thnks to the Crusaders and there partners being present now) tht was including his true power

And no. No freebies for you. Removing their corruption destroys these guys. :smalltongue:
considering that I need to destroy them before I consume their essence in the first place...

Well, we've been rather inconsistent with the powerlevels though. If I remember correctly you almost gave up on attacking a single one of the lust demons. :smalltongue:

Really though, I may have spoken too soon about her exact power level, since I still wasn't quite sure of who is how powerful. Personally, right now I have given her defined abilities, but not her exact amount of power. This is mostly because I've always seen as a narative tool, something that is extremely difficult to defeat but still eventually surmountable, while serving as a warning that something must be done before more like her start appearing.

Like the sort of thing that would require everyone to combine there full power into one attack?

Hey Crimson, does Sayian Dash know the spirit Bomb?

How you defeat her is up to you. I'm only here to give some vague directions to this plotline. Make it as awesome as you can, though.

That sounds great, actually. Have him or her be heavily damaged in the progress too, and it might even make sense. I really like it though. Nothing above some good old 'the power of love'-stuff.

Anyway, I'll be making a post now. I'm somewhat worried about Crimson so suddenly dissappearing, seeing as he hasn't answered in three days, but the show must go on and all that. I'll just handwave Javed getting to the gates of Tartarus so he can talk to the Drakorans.

Hrm. I think I'll stil have Javed move on without really talking to Rarity. It's about time he took his part in this whole affair.

Also, you're going to get that pride demon that attacks sweetie belle and is subsequently vaporised now. With some added FUN.

Also, Letitia is going to enter the battlefield soon now. This whole plot has been going rather smoothly so far, even if I didn't expect Boffenspark to suddenly reappear.

Perfect. It really is a pity that Xander fell to the War Zeal, considering he will charge headlong at Letitia regardless of his ability to win or even survive the encounter.

Darn. Now I feel sorry about the fact that I will inevitably turn your character into the guy who is killed off to show how deadly the villian of the week is. No no, it's perfectly fine. A villain or problem needs to be dangerous and the best way to do that is to kill (or do something worse to) the heroes. The life the Drakorans leads is a dangerous one. It is unrealistic if they don't suffer damage every once a while.

I said that my group intends to defeat the demon leader with or without the help of the wardens or there servants(who logically, if the wardens are as powerful as they claim, would need strong servants, supported by the Cyclops being two deities strong)

Logically, if the invading army is spreading through Tartarus, the leader would be deeper in.

I apologize for being unclear.

If you'd like, I can easilly have a few of My chars give a few of them power ups?

Mybe have Twilich use the spell she used to let Flutterwolf retain her sense of self when changed to which one was the shape shifter?

Or erhaps Harmonize the war Zeal out of Xander Permanantly, letting him go all out with out loseing himself?

Rater's analog, Cyrus, is an expert on the Spirits native to his home world, he has ways of making the half fleshed artificially(The Mysteries of the Dragon are Fracking Awesome!)

or, I have an anbolog I have'nt brought in yet, named Shadow Claw. I used to RP as him in Mane thread when I first showed up. He's my AQ character, and he's a Vampire, a werewolf, and half Dragon all at once, and can theoretically make others the same.

Warning, he's stronger than IC Rater, so if I bring him in, rit's gonna get sheal.

Not my fault. We agreed that Ratwer in his true spirit form was stronger than the Demon Leader, but nto in his sealed form.

He later boosted the demon leader' full power to five hundred deities. thus, to preserve canon, I had to up my full power, and the full power of my group.

If it helps, we are probably never going to use our full power.

Mybe have Twilich use the spell she used to let Flutterwolf retain her sense of self when changed to which one was the shape shifter? I believe you are referring to Eulshrak, the Svald. He actually doesn't lose sense of who he is. His mind just reverts to a more simplistic animal state. He can only tap into the lost powers of the Svald race by reverting himself. Also, it would kind of defeate the uniqueness of his character if he could just turn into a big bear/gorilla/wolf thing with no limitations.

Or erhaps Harmonize the war Zeal out of Xander Permanantly, letting him go all out with out loseing himself? Firstly, removing the War Zeal would remove Xander's training as a Sarax-Okus. They are really one and the same. The Sarax-Okus training devotes every part of Xander's being to combat, which includes turning your mind into one that hungers for battle. Second, as with Eulshrak, the War Zeal is kind of central to Xander's character. Part of the reason he regrets his actions during The War is that, while under the effect of the War Zeal, he killed innocents and even his own allies and the fear of the War Zeal is partially why he tries to avoid combat as much as possible. Finally if you took away the War Zeal Xander would never go all out. He regrets his abilities, his power and is not willing to use them unless under the effect of the War Zeal or in extreme circumstances.

To be fair, those where only estimating speculations of how powerful she should be to fulfill her narative roll. Which is to say, she has a powerlevel of 'exactly as the story demands'. Which I think is precise enough for a one-shot villain who I've planned to have killed off.

Well, you got plenty of that already, wouldn't you say? Anyway, if I may request something of you? I'd rather you not do any retcons because I screwed up at some earlier point and overestimated the power level of IC Rater's true form. I'd rather have everyone unite to fight Letitia anyway, with whoever Humble has in mind finishing her off after some dramatic stuff.

Just remember, I'm not all that good at estimating power levels and stuff.
