Maxed Int, arrange the rest of the stats however you want.

2 levels in bard followed by 3 levels in archivist.

Next 10 levels as an Ardent Dilettante adding to archivist spellcasting.

Dumping feats into the sudden metamagic path gets Sudden Quicken at 12th level due to all the bonus feats from the Ardent Dilettante class.

A straight 15th level archivist can cast 8th level spells but it can't cast a quickened, stilled, silent, maximized 7th level spell....

Take the "Craft Contingent Spell" feat combined with "Death Holds No Mysteries" class feature and getting killed becomes a non-event.

Follow the Ardent Dilettante progression with 2 levels of Divine Oracle gets prescient sense which really leverages the formidable reflex saves without hindering the ability to wear medium armors.

Take the intuitive reflexes feat and the dilettante's reflex saves are as good as any high dex rogue's.

Leverage the stupid feat "Skill Focus; Knowledge - Religion" by taking the final three levels as Loremaster. One secret bumping Fortitude saves and the other secret adding an additional feat (that offsets the skill focus in religion).

At 20th level this is a character that can cast 9th level divine spells with great flexibility. Good hit points, excellent saves, lots of skills, awesome bardic knowledge. A character that can be killed but who is extremely difficult to permanently snuff.

While not the most powerful character, the fun factor is quite high. Most reflex-save spells are flashy damage producing spells. High reflex saves mean the dilettante suffers little to no damage and can cast them back via the "See it Again" class feature; albeit just once a day.

The "See it Again" class feature has some crazy ramifications. For instance, a ring of three wishes, if used creatively, can allow for six wishes....

I enjoy the idea of a bardic scholar with a wisdom score of 8 who worships Dionysus or Sharess or some other hedonistic deity of revelry who is, none-the-less capable of casting divine spells in a creative manner. As an archivist, he has to seek out divine spells and where do you find divine spells? At the source of course, that being, in the Outer planes as an Ardent Dilettante tourist.
